Yowaka River Camp

6 sites · RVs, Tents150 acres · Nethercote, NSW
Our property is located on the far south coast of NSW in the town of Eden at the top of Nethercote Falls. Come and pitch your tent at any one of our several large, grassy sites along the beautiful Yowaka River. We have around 1km of river frontage right near the campsites, which has lots of swimming holes to enjoy. The property also has 3-4km of walking tracks on the property. There is plenty of wildlife all over the property and lots of native birds. We are a short walk from the beautiful Nethercote falls but please be aware that the walk to the falls can be challenging with some rock scrambling and climbing over logs.We are a 15 minute drive to both Eden and Pambula which both have stunning beaches, great cafes and shop access for all your camping needs. We have a pit toilet available and we are pet friendly but pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided and firewood can be purchased at a small additional cost (see extras). Please note that reception is limited on the property- time to immerse yourself in nature and relax!

Sapphire Coast Dairy-Homestead

5 sites · RVs, Tents929 acres · Greendale, NSW
376 hectare operating dairy farm next to Biamanga National Park with access via secret 4WD track to the mountain and 22km to Brogo Dam for bass fishing. 16.5 kms to shopping centre of Bega. & 34 km to Tathra beach. The property has eucalyptus forest, rainforest gullies, fresh mountain water and abundant wildlife include bellbirds and lyrebirds. The campsite is at the original 1908 selection block by the late John Pearce (one of the first settlers in the area) and has extensive views. in dry weather you can get here in 2WD towing a small camper trailer. There is a steep hairpin bend so I do not recommend caravans with 2WD vehicles (4WD vehicle and caravan could handle this). If you have queries regarding access check photos in gallery or please ask me. Flushing toilet on site. Dogs permitted. Good telephone and internet reception. Ideal for flying your new drone.

Kangarutha Farm

13 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents115 acres · Kalaru, NSW
Visit Tathra, but stay at Kangarutha, only 2km from the edge of town, and enjoy space, privacy and tranquillity. We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd. Our stunning property is comprised of open paddock areas surrounded by large areas of native forests, and we border national park. Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track. Our property was home to the former and well-loved businesses 'Kangarutha Nursery', and 'On the Perch Bird Park'. We have been busy re-imagining these spaces. We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower a short walk from the campsites. Our property is dog friendly for well behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs. Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.
