Horses also live here and are separate from the camping area. We accept only a small number of campers to ensure everyone has a few acres each and peace and quiet to enjoy the natural surroundings. Sites are generally more secluded as go from 1 to 10. All sites are walking distance to a composting toilet. Showers are near the entry to the camping areas of the farm, behind the green water tank. Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. 376 hectare operating dairy farm next to Biamanga National Park with access via secret 4WD track to the mountain and 22km to Brogo Dam for bass fishing. Brogo Dam is excellent location for a swim and to take your dogs for a walk or swim. 16.5 kms to shopping centre of Bega. & 34 km to Tathra beach. The property has eucalyptus forest, rainforest gullies, fresh mountain water and abundant wildlife include bellbirds and lyrebirds. The campsite is at the original 1908 selection block by the late John Pearce (one of the first settlers in the area) and has extensive views. in dry weather you can get here in 2WD towing a small camper trailer. There is a steep hairpin bend so I do not recommend caravans with 2WD vehicles (4WD vehicle and caravan could handle this). Clydie’s Knob is located in Wonboyn, 30 minutes south of Eden on the NSW South Coast. Situated on Wonboyn Lake, you’ll have direct access to fishing and swimming with the ability to launch a kayak or small boat. Larger boats can be launched in Wonboyn village which is a 5 minute drive from the campsite. The cleared grassy campsite is on 65 acres of bush land where you’ll find kangaroos, wallaby’s, wombats and plenty of birdsong. A fire pit is available for use when fire bans aren't in place. There is plenty of fallen timber on the ground which you are welcome to collect and use for the fire pit but strictly no falling of trees. Clydie’s Knob is surrounded by the Nadgee Nature Reserve which offers bushwalking, birdwatching and swimming in a pristine landscape. The beaches offer great diving, snorkelling, swimming, surfing and picnic areas, all within 15 minutes of our campsite. A pit toilet is available at the site. Please note - This is not fancy! But it does provide privacy. Please ensure that you bring your own hygiene products and toilet paper as this will not be provided. Only toilet paper and paper towel is to be disposed of in the toilet, sanitary items must be placed in your bin. All rubbish is to be removed at the end of your stay and we ask that you leave the property as you found it. 4WD or AWD is recommended for access to the property.

Beautiful large grassy area to set up in by the river. Bird calls in the morning were beautiful and the river is teeming with fish. Kylie and Sandy are lovely hosts and were really welcoming.

Good spot right near the beach but protected from the wind. Sites a little unlevel and close together (noisy neighbours) with greywater dump uphill? Small details. Overall good stay, plenty of wildlife. We’ll likely be back.

2 nights at Figtree Camp @ Mystery Bay

.Stayed two nights in our van and basically had the whole place to ourselves. Such a peaceful spot, while still being close to town and plenty of local sights. Chester was in the paddock behind us and definitely enjoys a scratch — but very much on his terms 😂 If you’re travelling with kids, just keep an eye on them around him as he did get a little nippy at times.

Stopped at Jigamy Camp Ground for one night on our return journey up the coast and what a fantastic place it is. The place was very quiet (we were the only ones there - Sunday night), the amenities were spotless and some of the best that I’ve had the opportunity to use. We arrived after dark and lighting or clearly marked directions to the camp ground were either not present or conspicuously placed, so I had to stop at a residence and ask for assistance, which the occupants were obliging in doing so. The view in the morning was quite pretty and the bird song was pleasant to awaken to. Value for money is the big stand out with Jigamy. You’d be hard pressed to find a camp ground with access to water at your camp site, more modern and clean amenities and a great view for the price point. I will definitely stop here again next time I’m passing through.

We stayed here for 4 days, and loved it. Great communication with Lou. Camp-site is great lots of space great views of the coast. Nice 10-15 min walk from the beach can drive also super quick. It's a great location to explore the local area from. Highly recommend this site.

Wow! What a slice of paradise this camp is! We couldn’t recommend any higher. Norm and Narelles space is absolutely stunning. The outdoor bath just tops it off. It was exactly what we needed for our little get-away and we will 100% be back again. Hot running water, flushing toilet and well equipped kitchen space, It didn’t even feel like we were camping! And the fact we could bring our two pups with us made it so much easier. Exceeded our expectations, thank you! 🤩

We loved our stay at Norms property, Everything was perfect, Not even the rain could spoil it. The views are alone are worth the stay.. Highly recommend staying at Norms property.
