One of the best camp sites we’ve been to. Quiet, lovely hosts and a pristine river that runs along in to Nethercote falls which Mick so kindly took our group on the tour. Would definitely go back and recommend!

Yowaka River Camp is a glorious idyll where the bush and gentle babble of the flowing river became my soundtrack for reading beside a morning and late afternoon fire with my dog, plunging into cold clear water and wandering along the river. The property and camp sites are beautifully situated and when you meet your welcoming and friendly hosts you'll understand the care and thoughtfulness that has gone into them sharing their property so you can experience it's beauty without a care.

Cheryle and Mick were excellent hosts. The instructions to get there were easy to understand.
The setting is very peaceful and the river was lovely. The falls are an excellent playground.
The facilities were clean and tidy, and the surroundings were well maintained.

Yowaka River Camp
We absolutely loved our stay at Yowaka River Camp. Private grassy campsites facing the river each with their own fireplace.
Highlight of the property is the close proximity and easy walk to the Nethercote Falls. Amazing swimming holes and numerous. waterfalls.
Pit eco toilet was clean and emptied daily. No shower, but a daily swim in the river did the trick.
Kids loved playing badminton and volleyball and exploring the property on their push bikes.
Cheryle and Mick were awesome hosts, extremely accommodating and helpful. We really enjoyed Mick’s tour of the area and walk to the falls.
Thank you for allowing us to experience your piece of paradise, we can’t wait to come back!

We had a beautiful and peaceful 5 days camping riverside. The sounds of the river and bird life made for a very special experience. The Nethercote falls were amazing too. We’re definitely planning another trip!

Wow, what an absolutely breathtaking spot. Cheryle and Mick were so welcoming. Mick went above and beyond taking us on a hike to see Nethercote falls, explaining where is safe to jump and swim and taking my boys to go feed the chickens and Guinea pigs. We purchased some delicious eggs and some firewood. I just wish we had booked for longer, we will definitely be back, thanks again!

There is so much to love about this campsite. Cheryle and Mick are excellent hosts and do so much to make a perfect holiday for guests, while also taking care of the land.

Cheryle and Mick are great hosts!
We were greeted on the property and taken to the most amazing camp spot right by the river.
Just beautiful.
Each campsite has its on toilet which is great. I have never seen a cleaner camp toilet!! We were very impressed.
The next day we explored the waterfall and Mick took us around the property and gave us a tour to the waterfall and to the other campsites. He is extremely knowledgeable (and funny haha) and we were very thankful for taking the time out of his day to show us around.
We will definitely be back!! Thank you again for having us!

Yowaka River Camp
We were blown away by this amazing riverside land so beautifully maintained by Cheryle and Mick. The facilities were fantastic- tables, undercover areas, fire pits, drop toilet, amazing open grassy areas, badminton and other outdoor sports equipment , kayaks and beautiful trees. Our hosts were hospitable and friendly and knowledgeable. We’ll be back soon

Absolutely stunning environment and great hosts. I have been camping for over 30 years now and this has to be close among a handful of the best I have been to!

Yowaka River Camp was amazing! Such a beautiful spot by the river with so many swimming spots to choose from. Cheryle and Mick were great hosts and we especially loved the tour down to Yowaka Falls. We will be back!

So great we love coming to stay in Nethercote! Cheryle and Mick are excellent hosts. The site is so spectacular and they make everything so easy. Hanging by the river was delightful. One night by the fire we had a visit from a very cute and very bold antechinus.

Mick and Cheryle are fantastic hosts and very knowledgeable about the surrounding land and local wildlife. The falls are only a short walk away and are absolutely beautiful. Having a toilet available as well as fresh eggs and firewood delivered to our campsite was a huge bonus! We can't wait to be back! Thanks Mick and Cheryle 😊

Absolute paradise! Could not fault a thing. We ended up extending our stay for a week because we loved it so much. Something for everyone, whether you are there as a family, group, couple or solo. Seeking adventure or just out to relax. Hosts Mick and Cheryle were amazing, so accommodating and friendly. Just go, you won't be disappointed. Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!
