From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight,
right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall),
you'll be spoiled for things to do and
places to explore - without even leaving the property!
HISTORY
This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land.
In the 1800's, white men came
seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging
has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees
remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to
grow out too.
About 35 years ago
about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of
this top end of the valley that you see today.
Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over.
You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though -
they have spikes that could
puncture Caterpillar tracks!)
MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan.
Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities.

The photos display pristine blue waters, which is what is so magical about this place. However after heavy rain, the water colour can change in appearance.

This is a 45 acre farm located approx 50 km north of Coffs Harbour and 30km south of Grafton and is just 500 meters from the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek.
The property is easily accessed by 2WD and is suitable for caravans and small to medium motor homes.
Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed.
Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! There are numerous shady trees along the dam edges and you can also relax on the pontoon which overlooks the water.
**Please note that the dam area is not fenced and may not suit campers with children. Campers must ensure they supervise their children at all times.
This farm operates a cut flower business with over 10,000 rose bushes and has recently diversified with a large number of Australian wildflowers.
The business hours are typically 6am-4pm but once or twice a week the shed does need to be accessed earlier than this so please do not park on the gravel area in front of the double roller doors.
There are no amenities so campers need to be fully self-sufficient with own camping toilet and leave no trace.

Site 1 features a wooden platform overlooking the river, suitable for tents & swags. We have 60 acres with the Blicks river running along the bottom end of the property. (our home is at the opposite end of the acreage so you will have your own space).

HISTORY
This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land.
In the 1800's, white men came
seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging
has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees
remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to
grow out too.
About 35 years ago
about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of
this top end of the valley that you see today.
Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over.
You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though -
they have spikes that could
puncture Caterpillar tracks!)
MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan.
Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities.

This is a 45 acre farm located approx 50 km north of Coffs Harbour and 30km south of Grafton and is just 500 meters from the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek.
The property is easily accessed by 2WD and is suitable for caravans and small to medium motor homes.
Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed.
Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! There are numerous shady trees along the dam edges and you can also relax on the pontoon which overlooks the water.
**Please note that the dam area is not fenced and may not suit campers with children. Campers must ensure they supervise their children at all times.
This farm operates a cut flower business with over 10,000 rose bushes and has recently diversified with a large number of Australian wildflowers.
The business hours are typically 6am-4pm but once or twice a week the shed does need to be accessed earlier than this so please do not park on the gravel area in front of the double roller doors.
There are no amenities so campers need to be fully self-sufficient with own camping toilet and leave no trace.

The site doesn't have much shade at the moment but the river has abundant shaded retreats. In dry conditions accessible via 2WD, ok for caravans and motorhomes. In wet conditions please check with us before arrival. 60 acre farm only 5 min from beautiful Bellingen. Beautiful river flats with direct frontage onto the Kalang River.In dry conditions, access is good and suitable for 2WD and caravans. Some parts of the property will require 4WD (such as Mountain Views site). In wet conditions please check with us before arrival.Pet considered on prior application - please ask first (we are a farm with livestock).No amenities - please BYO everything you need and leave no trace. Do you like private river swimming?
Our property is in Dundurrabin which is inland from Coffs Harbour.
Perfect for those seeking a spot 'off the beaten track.'
You will need 4WD car, caravan/camper. There is no 2WD access. 4WD only.
We offer beautiful river camping. Enjoy the company of platypus, turtles extensive bird life, reptiles, native flora and fauna. Spend your time swimming, river exploring & bush walking - all in total privacy.
There is a pit toilet but you're welcome to bring your own amenities.
Pets are welcome.
Phone reception is limited. There is no Telstra signal, only Optus.
Site 1 features a wooden platform overlooking the river, suitable for tents & swags. We have 60 acres with the Blicks river running along the bottom end of the property. (our home is at the opposite end of the acreage so you will have your own space).
We invite you to come and enjoy our property, groups and families welcome. Our only requirement is that you respect the river and the environment - no washing in the river (shampoo, dishwashing liquid etc).

Oasis of Hope is a great little site up the rain forest above Coffs Harbour and was a treat to find. Excellent, very clean shower and toilet facilities and a large communal BBQ area. I was concerned about the 10 volt power supply but Lars was very quick to provide me with an adaptor. A very peaceful spot so I slept soundly! If you want to stay off grid in fabulous surroundings, this is the place.

My girlfriend and I had such a beautiful weekend away at this Hipcamp. It truly felt like our own private sanctuary. The highlight was the secluded waterfall and champagne pool; absolutely stunning and such a special place to swim, relax, and take in the surroundings. Having something so magical just a short walk from camp made the stay unforgettable.
The campsite itself was well maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully cared for, offering the perfect balance between comfort and immersion in nature.
Rob was a fantastic host, welcoming, helpful, and generous with firewood. He also provided a clear map to the waterfall, which made exploring easy and enjoyable.
The peace and quiet were exactly what we needed. Falling asleep to birdsong, insects, and the gentle sound of the breeze flowing through the trees was the perfect soundtrack to unwind.
We left feeling refreshed and grateful. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful, nature-filled escape.

Awesome campground, would definitely recommend. Easy access, large sites with firepits, does have communal composting toilets and potable water to fill tanks, but no shower if you are tenting etc. We had an awesome stay in our caravan and would recommend this place. 10-15 mins into local shops at coffs harbour.

Richard is an amazing human who welcomes all to share his beautiful property. I wanted time out, relax, unwind, peace & tranquillity. That's exactly what i got. The skies at night where not hindered by light pollution, the silence was not broken by traffic noise. Richard is a wonderful soul that loves to share not only his home but stories of a remarkable life. Also extremely respectful of your space and time. I highly recommend Richards property to anyone, with any type of camping style. My stay was cut short unfortunately but I will be returning.

What an absolutely special spot. Not only are you close to a Lovely beach and small town but the camping area is just beautiful. Adam advised us where to park, spot on as the weather was starting to get very wet! We went for a short around the area, amazing lake covered in lily pads. Loads of kangaroos! We could only do one night but will definitely stop here on our way back south later in the year! And with Hipcamp’s prices going through the roof, it was reassuring to find somewhere that hadn’t doubled in price over the last 2 years.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the facilities and the added extras like the canoe and inner tubes.
Unfortunately during our stay it was very noisy throughout the night with logging tricks going past regularly and because they all slow down using the engine brakes before they go over the bridge it made it hard to get a good night sleep. Next time we will bring ear plugs.
