There are horses you can pat and a few sheep that are very friendly and love to be given bread. The historic Bega Cheese Factory and Heritage Center is just a couple of minutes away. The main shopping center and mall in town is just a five-minute drive. On our property, we can offer you a relaxing quiet stay in a secure area. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. After heavy rain you may need to boil/filter for drinking. You will need a 4WD to access the campsites closest to the river as there is a shallow gully crossing. Camper trailer or off road pop up campers will be able to negoiate the tracks. Good clearance necessary to pass over one gully crossing. Dogs are welcome, however, we do run sheep in an adjoining paddock so they need to stay close to your camp. Kids aged 16 and under camp for free. There is a dedicated campfire pit so you can stay warm on chilly evenings (please check to see if there is a seasonal fire ban in place). Fire wood can be provided - chainsaws are permitted but be mindful of structures that are animal habitats. Your family may enjoy taking a bushwalk that takes you around the 300 acre native bush paddock. Climb up and get a birds eye view down into a gully of magnificent granite boulders above where the river disappears deep below. Identify the unique sounds of the native birds and follow the tracks wildlife create. We are centrally located - just 1.5 hours from the snowfields and from the best beaches of the NSW coastline. There is a small general store, 2 takeaway cafes and a pub at Nimmitabel, or you can get all supplies in Cooma 25 mins away. Please note that we have very limited reception service for mobiles, so let's communicate via messages before you arrive in our area. I can provide a camping setup if you need extra bedding or you don't have any camping equipment or tent.

Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley, an area traditionally inhabited by the Yuin people. Roa is a working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is largely surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park. It is a 35 minute drive to the beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly Jersey cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets. We cater for small groups who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce traffic and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site. One additional vehicle per site can be organised, however we need at least 72 hours notice.

When you stay at Sunset Point you have lake frontage onto Borang Lake ( 4km from Potato Point), which connects directly with the Tuross lakes. You are able to launch your own tinny at our private jetty. A firepit is provided and you can collect your own wood yourself, or purchase a $25 a wheel barrow load with your booking. Wildlife is plentiful here, so please respect the environment and clean up after your self. There are some amazing local beaches only minutes to Potato Point or down the back track 10 minute drive or, ride your pushie or walk (its a bit of a walk) - straight to Blackfellows Point at Potato Point. There are lovely walking tracks around the property and lots of fishing, kayaking, SUP or pop your Tinnie in and fish till sunset or just plain lazy days. Watch the sunrise or walk to the other side of the property and watch the sunset. Watching the moon rise on the lake is quite beautiful. Launch your tinny and go fishing or simply kayak or lazy around. The site is dog friendly, but your pet must be well behaved and not aggressive as there may be other campers and pets on the property during your stay and a Sunset Point Camp Cat. You may not be right next to each other but please respect other guests, with noise. Just 10 minutes from the charming village of Bodalla, which was founded on the back of dairy farming and cheese production back in the 1860s. 30 minutes drive either way to the hubs of Narooma and Moruya. No barking dogs and no loud music or parties. This is a peaceful getaway. Short car trip to famous beaches where you leave nothing but footprints. It's our secret!

This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property. 2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. Orange Grove was established in 1856 on the banks of the cylde River Nelligen. It is set on 40 acres nestled on the edge of the Village of Nelligen, (15min Walk to its cafe and pub) and 8km west of Batemans Bay (10mindrive). Our camp grounds are set up on the Clyde's banks, all able to support enough area and access for 2wd, 4wd, RV and Car Camper set ups. Orange Grove, has a small basic boat ramp (there are public ramps 2mins down the road). With a beach and pontoon, you are able to leave your boat in the river for the duration of your stay. Batemans Bay is 15min down stream, an easy ride to pick up items not found in Nelligen. Our camp ground has a covered area with BBQ Facilites, tables, chairs, Water, fire pit (used in under the correct conditions), a toilet (Bring own Toilet paper). We are pet friendly, however we do have wildlife on the property and livestock, so we ask that have full control and take responsibility of your pets. We always have a presence on the property and have good Telstra coverage, so although you feel a million miles from nowhere you also feel secure.

When you stay at Sunset Point you have lake frontage onto Borang Lake ( 4km from Potato Point), which connects directly with the Tuross lakes. You are able to launch your own tinny at our private jetty. A firepit is provided and you can collect your own wood yourself, or purchase a $25 a wheel barrow load with your booking. Wildlife is plentiful here, so please respect the environment and clean up after your self. There are some amazing local beaches only minutes to Potato Point or down the back track 10 minute drive or, ride your pushie or walk (its a bit of a walk) - straight to Blackfellows Point at Potato Point. There are lovely walking tracks around the property and lots of fishing, kayaking, SUP or pop your Tinnie in and fish till sunset or just plain lazy days. Watch the sunrise or walk to the other side of the property and watch the sunset. Watching the moon rise on the lake is quite beautiful. Launch your tinny and go fishing or simply kayak or lazy around. The site is dog friendly, but your pet must be well behaved and not aggressive as there may be other campers and pets on the property during your stay and a Sunset Point Camp Cat. You may not be right next to each other but please respect other guests, with noise. Just 10 minutes from the charming village of Bodalla, which was founded on the back of dairy farming and cheese production back in the 1860s. 30 minutes drive either way to the hubs of Narooma and Moruya. No barking dogs and no loud music or parties. This is a peaceful getaway. Short car trip to famous beaches where you leave nothing but footprints. It's our secret!

CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property. 2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. Absolutely beautiful farm and camp site! The Camp by the Dam site was private, peaceful, scenic and sheltered from the wind, with views over the dam. We experienced a lot of wildlife (wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, frogs, horses and heaps bird life). We spotted kookaburras, nectar eaters and two different kinds of Kingfisher birds (if you enjoy birdwatching, I recommend taking binoculars!). It was the perfect spot for our dog to be primarily off lead and she absolutely loved it, with plenty of space to run and play. We had the entire farm to ourselves for our three night stay, and even if other campers had been on site, it still would have been very private. Waking up to bird song was absolutely delightful. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were great to have access to, within a short distance walk. The kitchen has a small fridge, microwave and washing up facilities, dining table, air conditioning and power points to recharge our power bank for our phones. There were plenty of communal areas which would be perfect for group events (large outdoor dining area/table and chairs, fire pit, beautifully landscaped spaces, events building with large kitchen, dining and lounge area). There were recycling and general rubbish bins, and toilet paper was provided. We ordered a wheelbarrow of wood for our three night stay which was more than enough for our time there and was ready on site for our arrival. We can't wait to book our next visit! Highly recommend!

Site for which we had was absolutely amazing. It was on the lake and could hear the soft dappling of the tide at night time. The site was very well prepared, and a great pit fire with a grill which we used to cook. The view is absolutely stunning and the wildlife sounds are so relaxing. The highlight though has been Sally who has been amazingly communicative and generous about using her vegetable garden. Sally is a very lovely soul. We would never have known that there was a place like this in the world unless we booked through Hipcamp. And there is an amazing drive down Black fellows Road through an amazing beach side of Woodland… Four-wheel-drive only! This is our first time here it won’t be our last.

I am in two minds about leaving a review, as we want to keep this special location to ourselves, however; if you are down this way take some time to make your own opinion. We had two days at Orange Grove and didn't want to leave. The location is a perfect place to switch off and remove yourself from the world. We arrived as a group of two couples travelling with dogs in a large motorhome and caravan combo. Tryg and my mate said I am compensating for the size of the motorhome, but hey why not travel in comfort. Site access was ok for us after a little gardening on Tryg's approval so large vehicles can access without restriction. Everything is there; space abounds, impressive fire pit, water views, fish, toilet facility and well sheltered and ir is all yours. Local knowledge abounds, both from locals when walking the streets of Nelligen and from your host Tryg. Even more so when you loosen his tongue with a cold beverage. It is awesome to get a locals perspective and the vibe of what really makes a community and honest mateship of the Aussie spirit. Do yourself a favour and visit this part of the world as it is impressive. David

Fantastic spot! It was really nice to find a spot away from overcrowded camp grounds. This spot is perfect if you’re looking for a place where it’s just you/your group and nature! The grounds were clean and well maintained and having the dam close by was awesome for the kids and dogs. Being dog friendly and off leash meant our pooches could have a nice holiday too! The onsite toilet, fire pit and table/benches made things easy. Hosts Sarah and Tom were great to deal with, communication was easy and we all had a blast. Would recommend to anyone camping withe family/friends especially those who want to bring their dogs. We will be back!

Lovely flat grassed open area , some with power for extra $, water taps everywhere to fill your tanks but no hooking on. Dump point which is super handy , Hosts Jodie and Brett are lovely people with $15 oysters delivered to your camp . Very close to Merimbula and Pambula for your daytime activities and site seeing. Totally recommend.
