Cape Meringo

5 sites · Tents200 acres · Congo, NSW
Cape Meringo is a 200 acre, wild, coastal property just south of Moruya, adjacent to Eurobodalla National Park, with kilometres of frontage onto the Meringo Lagoon and an easy walk to two, magnificent, isolated beaches. The property is roughly four hours south of Sydney and two hours east of Canberra. There are no facilities for campers on the property so all visitors must be fully self contained, including with their own toilets and all waste must be taken away. Cape Meringo is accessible by 2WD but is more suitable to campers with a 4WD (especially if there's been wet weather). This is bush camping. Your sites are surrounded by old growth forest so if you're looking for big water views or direct water frontage this may not be the property for you. Dog friendly. 2Wrens Rd

5 sites · Lodging, Tents25 acres · Murrah, NSW
I have blocked bookings from March 2024 as the area will be a construction zone during the build of our house and shed which are close by to the Bunga Surf Shack and camp sites. Coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property. The township of Bermagui is 15 minutes drive north; Tathra and Bega are 30mins south. There is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, eagles, wombats. You can enjoy whale watching, diving, swimming, surfing and walking coastal tracks from here. As well there is an abundance of great food available with Wapengo Organic oysters just down the road, Mimosa Winery close by and numerous cafes, pub, restaurants, sourdough bakery, woolworths, bottleshop etc in the gorgeous coastal village of Bermagui. Mobile phone and internet coverage is good with Telstra, not as reliable if you are with Optus. Lovely place to switch off from your device if possible though. If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site. Please be respectful of neighbours, drive slowly for wildlife, and no flying of drones over private land. Thanking you.

Kangarutha Farm

13 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents115 acres · Kalaru, NSW
Visit Tathra, but stay at Kangarutha, only 2km from the edge of town, and enjoy space, privacy and tranquillity. We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd. Our stunning property is comprised of open paddock areas surrounded by large areas of native forests, and we border national park. Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track. Our property was home to the former and well-loved businesses 'Kangarutha Nursery', and 'On the Perch Bird Park'. We have been busy re-imagining these spaces. We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower a short walk from the campsites. Our property is dog friendly for well behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs. Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.
