This is High Country camping one hour from Canberra. Bordering the Tallaganda National Park, this camping is set on 100 acres of rural land with a sense of remoteness with a sealed road access only 1 km away.This property is not farm. You will only share it with the wildlife that includes numerous kangaroos that come in from the National Park in the evening to feed. The principal camping place (The Park) is situated next the park boundary and provides space for two tents or a tent and camper trailer. The rest of the camping is on “The Range”. This is a perfect place to chill and enjoy the beauty of the countryside which includes stunning sunsets over the Tinderry mountains. If you want to explore there is walking in the park or visits to The Big Hole, the water wheel at Lowden Forest Park and the old mine at Captains Flat.A flush toilet and drinking water is situated external to the cottage on the property (located 120 metres from "The Park" site). Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley, an area traditionally inhabited by the Yuin people. Roa is a working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is largely surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park. It is a 35 minute drive to the beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly Jersey cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We cater for small groups who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce traffic and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site. One additional vehicle per site can be organised, however we need at least 72 hours notice.

This is a working farm approx 70% cleared remainder bush. Sub Alpine so the temperature can change quickly and snow, the area has quite a verity of bird and animals. There are currently 5 paddocks available no set campsites you pick your own site near mountain stream or in the bush also available is a self-contained cottage (view our separate listing for Calabash Manager's Cottage). This has 4 bedrooms bathroom and kitchen heating when required is a slow combustion wood stove very relaxing. There are no amenities for campers, please BYO and leave no trace. There is plenty of branches and wood on the ground for a fire but please no fires when fire bans in place. Dogs are OK but as we are a sheep property they must be well controlled and on a leash and not left to roam. We prefer smaller dogs. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Plenty of firewood around to gather your own. If you want it cut it for you then buy some as an extra and add it to your order. Please check with the host on arrival regarding local fire conditions. No set areas for camping - choose when you get here. Suitable for caravans, motor homes, tents. Lots of options! No mobile phone reception if you walk around the paddock you may get a signal, If you need to contact us once you have a booking, contact us via email or landline. Temperature can change quickly and in winter you could be snowed in, so be prepared.

This is a stunning camping spot with exclusive freshwater Clyde River frontage. We accept only one booking at a time, ensuring you have the use of the entire camp and amenities to yourselves. To secure your booking we require a minimum of 6 adults (2 x children= 1 adult). A minimum 3 nights are required over the summer holidays. Day trip possibilities are plentiful as the Shoalhaven has a lot to offer. We are 20km west of beautiful Bawley Point beaches, 33km south of historic Milton which boasts fine dining plus great shopping and the same distance via a different route to Ulladulla and its quaint harbour. For the more energetic there some great bushwalks, including climbing Didthul (pigeon house). Ideally configured for 20. Additional camp sites are available in an adjoining space. The shed has a bar with cold, potable water. A few tables and chairs are provided for your convenience. With private access to one of the largest waterholes on the freshwater Clyde, you are welcome to bring your own kayaks, fishing gear (license required) and flotation devices. Children are welcome, although must be supervised at all times due to the proximity of the river and steep bush land. Sorry, pets are not permitted with future bookings This is not a party venue. Please note access roads are not all sealed, including 18km gravel via Milton and 13km gravel via Termeil. Currently suitable for all vehicle types.

Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. It is also roughly the same coming via Western Distributor from Kings Highway Once on these roads a vast part of your drive will be on dirt, and may be a little testing in wet weather, however you will discover some much natural beauty when you arrive at your destination Please also note that there is no reception in this area, the closest place for phone reception is at Pigeon House Mountain. I cherish the cleanliness of the river and surrounds and wish to be able to share this special environment with others who care to preserve all it offers. You can explore the property along the tracks, paddle, swim or fish in the river, enjoy the fauna, wildlife and birdlife. Located not far from Braidwood, a town steeped in history, with good shopping, coffee shops and great food. Sloping to flat land amongst the Scribbly Gum trees offering a number of sites and walks through the property. It provides both sun and shade. Access is good for vans of any size along a track through the bushland. Lovely swimming spots in the Mongalowe River, beautiful clear water, and several lovely bushwalks around the property. There is only Telstra reception available in this area. We offer 7 different sites and the maximum stay is 7 nights.

When exploring the region, don't forget to stop in at the famous township of Mogo. The campsite is nestled amongst the tall gum trees and overlooks the dam. There is a firepit with a hot plate for delicious camp out dinners and firewood is available for sale under Extras. Nearby, Mogo Mountain bike trails are newly opened offering great tracks for allskill levels We are located 19km off the Pacific Highway from the historical town of Mogo (and Mogo Zoo) on an all weather gravel/dirt road with a concrete causeway crossing at the entrance of the property. Choose from a selection campsites, one that overlooks farmland with views to the river flats and mountains or a grassed riverbank. The large and open level grassy area is perfect for tents, caravans and RVs. A flushing toilet and a hot water shower are available. Phone reception is pretty reliable. There is a deep swimming hole close by, wonderful for a dip, snorkling, gold panning... At the edge of the swimming hole is mowed grass area for relaxing. Children are welcome, although to be supervised at all times. We also have a designated campfire area with firewood supplied on arrival and additional available if requested. Dogs welcome if controlled at all times and do not interfere with our livestock.

Based near Mount Utopia, Nerrigundah, we fell in love with our little sanctuary in 2020. There are two families Dwayne, Michelle, Robbie and Sharon and their four boys Blake, Taeg, Cooper and Flynn. Campers at heart, we started spending nearly every second weekend in our campers and this lead to many a night discussing what else we could do to make this property a place for others to use. It is a work in progress and there is plenty more to come, currently there is a ablution block that is up near the old house site, we decided it was best to have the camp area closer to the river. We have since added a camp kitchen, large undercover area and two cabins (for our own use at this stage). Enjoy direct access to the river plus more swimming areas on the property. Campfires are permitted. There is some firewood on the property but probably best to bring some of your own. There is Telstra service enabling mobile coverage if needed especially for emergencies. 4WDs are recommended to access this campsite. During the rain we recommend 4WD only. In dry you can access with an all wheel drive. Please message us if you're unsure about weather conditions and your vehicle. Our little piece of Utopia is still a work in progress but is picturesque as well as peaceful. Your furry family member is welcome to join you. We hope you enjoy our little Utopia.

Kontener 38 is a tiny home nestled among gum trees and abundant birdlife, with nature all around you! It's just a short walk to the beautiful Bermagui River and within walking distance to Moorhead's Beach, where dogs are permitted. Nearby, you'll find shops, a day spa, and cafes on Bermagui's north side. The space is suitable for a maximum of two people, perfect for a couple or solo traveler. Dogs are welcome, but no fencing on the property. Please note that the kitchen is a basic kitchenette, with no stove. There is a kettle, mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. We offer a BBQ an camping gas cooker but cooking inside is not allowed due to the tiny space. WiFi available. Bermagui boasts great spots for coffee, delicious food, the best gelati, and sourdough bread. There are many beautiful beaches for walking, swimming, or relaxing. You'll find plenty of walking paths, fishing spots, and places to exercise. It's within walking distance to a day spa, massage, sauna, and float tank, and a short drive to a yoga studio and Bermagui Harbour. We are a family of four with a mini schnauzer, living 20 meters behind the tiny home. We're happy to help but will leave you in peace. To reach us, turn right onto Lindo Street, which becomes River Road. Follow River Road alongside the river until you see the forest. There's a small dirt road marked 'private road' and a sign for Pitt Street. Follow the dirt road; Kontener 38 is the third place on your right. Don't rely on GPS, as it will take you on a different route unsuitable for most cars. Our place is not accessible for caravans or fishing boats. We offer a "tiny house" on "tiny land" among trees.
