It is also roughly the same coming via Western Distributor from Kings Highway Once on these roads a vast part of your drive will be on dirt, and may be a little testing in wet weather, however you will discover some much natural beauty when you arrive at your destination Please also note that there is no reception in this area, the closest place for phone reception is at Pigeon House Mountain. In the event of any emergency the caretaker does have STARLINK to assist with contacting medical authorities or family.

Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property. 2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. Firewood is available at additional cost. 3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property. 2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. Firewood is available at additional cost. 3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). Big Island Bend offers 40 acres of pristine bushland on the Western bank of the Clyde River just North of Big Island in the middle of the Batemans Bay Marine Park. The north-facing campsite is in a beautiful location with access to riverfront beaches, water sports, fishing, mountain bike trails and hiking. Note - bookings are by arrangement only. BEFORE YOU BOOK - PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS PROPERTY IS RIGHT FOR YOU 1. CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property. 2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. Firewood is available at additional cost. 3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). Please message us in advance for advice if you are concerned about the weather or vehicle access. 4. PETS - Well behaved pets are welcome but must be controlled and cleaned up after.

Great spot to camp. We normally camp by the river but in future, will stay here instead. Lovely to wake up with mobs of roos around and its family friendly and more secure than free camping down the road. Highly recommended for families who want to spend a few days panning without the worry of rangers and undesirables by the river. Lots of beautiful farm animals as well.

We had lovely 4 nights at Surfside, the powered was level with concrete pad. Power, water and waste close. The amenities were modern and clean. Overall I was so impressed, our stay surpassing any caravan park we’ve stayed at since being on the road for 13 weeks. The beach is stunning.

The property is stunning and even with a bit of rain we didn’t notice the elements with how the camp is set up. The communal shed had everything we needed for a comfortable and easy stay. Great space, close to beach. Could be very crowded in holidays as it was already busy out of season . Great for visitors who like to see Roos as they are in front your door. Glad I did not bring my dogs as this would be difficult. When we arrived a camper was almost on our site , a bit of dispute on who was in the wrong but I had the map to show. Not every spot has a mat laying down, which was confusing for the other camper
