All pets need to be previously organised by message. If you are after total peace and quite please don’t book Christmas ,Easter or long weekends . Off peek during the week is very quite. Located approximately 3 hours from Melbourne, this property is within a short range of the snowfields andthe bike trails around Bright and Beechworth. Experience the local wineries, the Milawa cheese factory and Lake Buffalo. Explore the breath-taking scenery while walking, cycling or paddling through. We are just an hour from Mt Hotham and Mt Buffalo for ski season.

Locally you are in the middle of the two famous valleys which offer some amazing gourmet experiences. You are within minutes from the King valley or the ovens Valley. And 50mins from Bright with all the beautiful towns and attractions on the way. You're spoilt for choice in this location for wineries, restaurants, berry farms. Famous town of Beechworth is only 30mins. Ideal location if you feel like leaving the magic camp ground that will provide you with a real sense of peace and relaxation with not a building in sight. Aberdeen Farm and Flour Mill

Aberdeen is an organic farm that is home to the artisan flour mill Woodstock Flour. Situated in the Rutherglen wine region, Aberdeen farm borders the beautiful Black Dog Creek and is a five minute drive from wineries and restaurants. Guests are welcome to a tour of the flour mill and farm with the owners Ian and Courtney. You can take home a bag of freshly milled flour or a rack of organic lamb from the farm to cook over the fire. We offer a private and large, grassy and level site that borders Black Dog Creek and is surrounded by majestic redgums. We do not offer facilities, so all campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, and take all their waste when they leave. We are 10 minutes from the Hume Fwy and just over five minutes from Rutherglen and surrounding wineries. There are a number of rail trails around Rutherglen and Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park is a 25-minute drive for bushwalking. Lake Moodemere and the Murray River are 15-30 minutes away for swimming, boating and fishing.

Wombat flats offers one exclusive camping site set on a scenic billabong. There are no amenities here, campers must be self-contained and leave no trace. It is very peaceful and quiet. There is plenty of bird life but no marsupials. Snakes are active in November through January. It is walking distance to Wangaratta on the Ovens River flats and billabongs. Dogs are welcome but need to be under control at all times. We love dogs and the wildlife equally. We have three breeds of heritage chicken are breed on the property and which we sell as day old chickens. The property grows cut flowers and veggies which are sold from a roadside stand.

A plumbed toilet, sink - cold water only and power are available in the nearby shed (50- 70 meters) depending on where you set up. A leave no trace request also applies. An all weather road will accommodate most setups for access thru 12 feet roadside gate.
