Our property is located in the Blue Mountains, nestled right in the middle of the national park and all that the Blue Mountains bush has to offer. Gums, ferns, fresh air and swimming holes. I only allow one group to camp at any one time per site. Other groups will be well away from you. However the dam is available for everyone to use. I adjust each booking with each group depending on size of the group and time of year. I also hold large events so will book out the entire site for large groups. Just a short drive from Sydney but a world away with its ancient forests and meandering pathways. All photos are from the site or within a 2km walk of the camping site in National Park or reserve. Please note that the canyon photos are from a spot that is very difficult to get to. I welcome self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. However there are facilities on site for smaller groups at an extra cost. The property offers a number of sites that can accommodate various group numbers. The Wollemi Art Farm is a 100 acre block surround by national park - so your only neighbours are trees and animals. We are only 2 kilometres from the stunning Dunns Swamp. We have several camping areas, which range from intimate to spacious, and can host up to 190 people - if you want to book out the whole place (weddings, parties, small festivals)! Facilities include toilets, water and shelter. It's called 'The Wollemi Art Farm' because not only do we do arty things there (like quests and Shakespeare nights), in time we shall fill the place with mysterious and beautiful works of art - constructed from the rocks and wood of the landscape itself. We have our own trails and views (see below). As mentioned, we run quest adventures (think: clues, a map, exploring, competing against other teams for glory) - get in touch if you would like to know when the next one is, or if you would like your own private quest. I've included some quest material in the photos (more on our Instagram and Youtube). There is an additonal fee for questing. Walks: -Look out for the twin cairns on the north side of the public road, about 100m before you get to the main camping area. Follow the trail to the Summit. -You can also follow the private road up the hill past the main house (turn right off the public road as if you are going to the Spring campsite, then walk past the 'no tresspassing sign' - you are not tresspassing if you are a guest!). Follow this road for a few hundred metres until you see the rocky outcrop towards your right (the 'Souther Heights'). A sign points the way to a cleft that you can ascend. Two cairns mark this spot. Follow the rocky ridge up for several hundred metres. It's a fine adventure. Runs. I'm a keen distance runner. I have a range of runs mapped out. These include a 10km loop, longer runs up to 20kms, various reps, and more. The WAF is perfect for your running group getaway.

We do not have local shops or fuel stations. The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. No pets please. once again no pets including dogs.

We are conveniently close to town. Lithgow tourism centre has plenty of information and activities to do. There are scenic lookouts, climbing, canyoning, bike trails or simply relax with great eateries and historical sites. Cooking fires are permitted when there are no RFS bans in place. Note: You will need to completely extinguish your fire before you depart. You may collect water from the creek. It is ok to collect fallen kindling, no chain sawing of trees. Wood is provided free of charge for small fires only. If you use the kindling please play if forward and collect for the next person. If you need more wood simply message me. There is a camping toilet with toilet paper and hand sanitizer supplied. Well behaved pets are welcome and we encourage you to keep your dog on a lead if they are likely to adventure too far from your site and disturb the local wildlife or other campers. Rocklee is on Wiradjuri land, a short drive from Capertee, surrounded by Gardens of Stone and Capertee national parks and the Mugii Murrum-ban State Conservation Area. Rocklee is 2.5 hours from Sydney and Dubbo. Access is 4wd only. (We’re serious!) Our road has ‘roll overs’, rocks and a couple of tight turns on large gradients) on so you need a vehicle with 20cm+ clearance. If you are towing a camper trailer, you need a good 4wd engine to get back up the hill confidently. Each campsite is a long way from other sites - usually about 800m. Rocklee has a mix of no-longer used paddocks and about 800 acres of untouched bush. You will arrive through the conservation area, which has beautiful pagodas and endless bushwalks. Hipcampers can choose from plenty of space where they'd like to set up camp. Please be careful as some paddocks are overgrown, fences have come down and there are lots of wombat holes, so drive slowly and be careful. There are no amenities here, campers need to be self contained and leave no trace. This means you need to bring water, use exisiting fireplaces and take your rubbish, recycling and compost with you. (You need to bring water from home or elsewhere on the way. Please note you cannot fill up free tap water at Capertee - either at the BP, the picnic area or the pub. It just doesn’t rain enough to fill up the tanks.)

We had a very lovely stay at Turon Gates. The place was very clean and well taken cared off. The toilets and showers are very convenient and clean. There’s a couple of sink that can be used to clean utensils with potable water. Wildlife’s great! The horses came around to greet everyone. We spotted kangaroos, sheep, kookaburras and goats. The river’s clean and a great place to have a swim. We surely will be back

We did the canoeing which was on a small but very beautiful area of the river. The camping area is neat but not super private. Would be great for big groups of families as the sites are unmarked. Beautiful spot, absolutely loved it. 9/10 didn’t get 10/10 because the map was extremely hard to navigate, especially 1st timers. Update map and put some signs up and it will be one of the best camp spots I’ve visited
