We are located
10 minutes' drive from the Nabiac township where you will find
a collection of food, beverage and interesting antique and giftware.
Explore cleared and wooded areas via walking tracks and observe the varied bird and wildlife. Relax around the campfire in the evenings and enjoy some star gazing.
Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities, any camping group that do not bring their own toilet/shower will be turned away or agree to a $40/night extra charge and allowed limited access to our own toilet block located 300 metres away from camping areas.
All campers must take all waste with them on departure and DO NOT use waste bins at highway turn off location.
Fire pits have been provided and must be utilised, simply move them to your final camp location, also burn only clean firewood ( No pallets with Nails, etc)

Camp at Riverside Hilltop:

A 5 acre area is set aside accommodating a maximum of 4 caravans and or motorhomes so that you are well away from other campers. As per the reviews its very peaceful and ideally located close to the town, beaches and other attractions within the general area.
As we are located on the North Shore of Port Macquarie, and to access the property you must cross the river using the Settlement Point Ferry
The Hibbard Ferry operates (6am - 10am / 2pm-7pm) Mon -Fri and all day on Saturdays and Sundays is only 300 m from the campsite, making it easy to pop into town, explore Port Macquarie’s attractions, or visit the region’s wineries. For longer stays, a discounted ferry pass can be purchased on your behalf.
NOTE THERE IS A COST WHEN USING THE FERRY
North Shore Beach is a 5-minute drive away, and the local gin distillery is just a 15–20 minute drive up Maria River Road.

Bernard and Susan are custodians of the farm, primarily using the land for poultry (egg), pig, and goat farming. They are transitioning to an off-grid and eco-friendly lifestyle for their retirement.
The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. Please note that all animal interactions are self-led (including our animal nursery), and children must be supervised by their parents/carers. During NSW School Holidays, host led animal interactions will be available at designated times.

An exclusive, natural camping experience situated on the beautiful Gloucester River under the picturesque Bucketts Mountains. We are just 5 minutes from Gloucester CBD. The Bucketts are within the country belonging to the Biripi and Worimi peoples, with Gloucester being known as Mookibakh. In the native language, the Bucketts mountains (the Buccan Buccan) means the “father of stones looking down on sacred land.”
As an active beef farm we may have cattle in the paddock you camp in but the site will be secured by temporary electric fencing to ensure your safety. Hence, we ONLY allow dogs to stay whilst on a lead or tethered run at all times. Dogs sighted off a leash will result in you leaving immediately with no refund.
Most of the year the river is lovely and clear and ideal for swimming, fishing, photography or just enjoying. Wedgetail Eagles, Black Cockatoos, Black Shouldered Kites, Kookaburras and Butcher Birds life in the area. As do kangaroos, possums and echidnas. Our night skies are very clear, no pollution here!
All of our campsites are perfect for having a campfire (fire season dependent).
Our sites are ideal for self-contained vans, camper trailers, medium motor homes, tents or swags, it’s up to you. You must have your own toilet facilities and take away all waste. This is very important and an absolutely essential requirement for all visitors. As is the case with general rubbish.
You should bring sufficient water with you as we do not provide drinking or potable water. You will have very good mobile and internet coverage across the property.
When you make a reservation at the property we will always endeavour to put you in your preferred location as best we can. However if we are impacted by adverse weather or need to run cattle on certain parts of the farm then we may need to make a change to the actual site you are in and trust you understand.

There are local beaches at Manning Point and Crowdy Head. Great for fishing. There is also 15min to Big Nelly where you can drive to the top of the mountain and many other stops to stop and look over the region, so you can take a picnic basket and flask, if you feeling more adventures you cam stop at Watui Falls amd then head up and over the mountains to ... WARNING this trek of mountain road is only accessible by 4WD.
There's also Ellebrough falls.

We also have a couple of swamp hen families. A number of fruit bats from Wingham brush reach us most nights at dusk. We have also seen an owl near the chicken coop & if you're lucky you may spot the kangaroos in the paddock.
We welcome tents, campervans, trailer tents and caravans but you need to provide your own drinking water- outside solar shower is available that can be filled up at the rainwater tank by the camp kitchen.
NEED TO HAVE YOUR OWN TOILET FACILITIES WITH HOLDING TANK
The Paddock suits all vehicles- Max 3 parties at once.
We also have more private spot Woodland Area which suits just one party but vehicle access is a couple of mins walk and further to the camp kitchen.
Fires allowed but only in contained firepits and off ground. We currently have 3 firepit presently to use at your own site (must be kept off ground on bricks provided). Fires not allowed during total fire bans
Take your camping chairs to the edge of 1 of 2 dams and watch our pet ducks.

The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. As an active beef farm we may have cattle in the paddock you camp in but the site will be secured by temporary electric fencing to ensure your safety. Hence, we ONLY allow dogs to stay whilst on a lead or tethered run at all times. Dogs sighted off a leash will result in you leaving immediately with no refund.
Most of the year the river is lovely and clear and ideal for swimming, fishing, photography or just enjoying. Wedgetail Eagles, Black Cockatoos, Black Shouldered Kites, Kookaburras and Butcher Birds life in the area. As do kangaroos, possums and echidnas. Our night skies are very clear, no pollution here!
All of our campsites are perfect for having a campfire (fire season dependent).
Our sites are ideal for self-contained vans, camper trailers, medium motor homes, tents or swags, it’s up to you. You must have your own toilet facilities and take away all waste. This is very important and an absolutely essential requirement for all visitors. As is the case with general rubbish.
You should bring sufficient water with you as we do not provide drinking or potable water. You will have very good mobile and internet coverage across the property.
When you make a reservation at the property we will always endeavour to put you in your preferred location as best we can. Welcome to Whispering Mountain. We are a small hobby farm with a menagerie of animals to pat and see.
Our main attraction is our Engkish and Irish Donkeys and our emus, but of course, there’s a lot more than these girls and guys.
We have a large paddock adjacent to Lansdowne River, where we welcome self-contained campers to set up and enjoy the peace, and easy river access.
The paddock does not have any trees or toilet amenities at this stage. So it's currently BYO toilets/showers please, and all waste it to be taken when you depart.
We are 20 minutes out of Taree and 50 minutes to Port Macquarie.
There are local beaches at Manning Point and Crowdy Head. Great for fishing. There is also 15min to Big Nelly where you can drive to the top of the mountain and many other stops to stop and look over the region, so you can take a picnic basket and flask, if you feeling more adventures you cam stop at Watui Falls amd then head up and over the mountains to ... WARNING this trek of mountain road is only accessible by 4WD.
There's also Ellebrough falls.

This is a great place to pull in on your way to Sydney or QLD or to use as a base to explore this beautiful area. Stunning views.
Perfect place to relax with a book, draw, bird watch or take photographs. Birds, kangaroos, cows and lizards are abundant here.
Fresh water creek is safe for cooking or a quick dip. (Note water isn’t very deep) .

Our Property offers a peaceful, quiet and calm place to relax and unwind.
There are fenced in cows on property. Please leave gates how you find them. Some fences are electric.
Children are welcome but must be fully supervised at all times.
Pets welcome but must be on a lead at all times and to be kept inside at night. (Please pick up after them)
We are a super friendly family of 3 with pets of our own. We are also pretty knowledgeable of the areas and can recommend things to do and places to visit.
At certain times there will be fruit grown on the property available for purchase.
Please note that there are no food/ drink shops close by (30min away) please bring all supplies with you.
You must have your own toilet.
Property can flood, you will need to move to higher ground on property if flood warnings have been announced.

Wingham has award winning coffee & dining, golf club, town hotel with great meals & live bands most weekends, swimming pool (seasonal), bowling club, monthly markets, Coles, fuel, chemist, rifle range, clay pigeon shooting, famous brush walk to enjoy the resident bats & much more.
Shared camp kitchen available with gas oven/stove & some pots, pans, plates, utensils etc. Camp kitchen has table & chairs & wash-up facilities with tank water.
Outside Solar shower bag also set up where you can gaze at the sky above but private so modesty is protected!
We have two full dams that host our 3 ducks, free range chooks (collect your own fresh eggs daily-not available in winter), 4 guinea fowl a couple of farm cats & awesome birds-Rainbow Lorikeets, King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas and Kookaburras. We also have a couple of swamp hen families. A number of fruit bats from Wingham brush reach us most nights at dusk. We have also seen an owl near the chicken coop & if you're lucky you may spot the kangaroos in the paddock.
We welcome tents, campervans, trailer tents and caravans but you need to provide your own drinking water- outside solar shower is available that can be filled up at the rainwater tank by the camp kitchen.
NEED TO HAVE YOUR OWN TOILET FACILITIES WITH HOLDING TANK
The Paddock suits all vehicles- Max 3 parties at once.
We also have more private spot Woodland Area which suits just one party but vehicle access is a couple of mins walk and further to the camp kitchen.
Fires allowed but only in contained firepits and off ground. We currently have 3 firepit presently to use at your own site (must be kept off ground on bricks provided). Fires not allowed during total fire bans
Take your camping chairs to the edge of 1 of 2 dams and watch our pet ducks.
Pets on leashes are welcome.

We felt so welcomed by our host Mark. The property was immaculate and so private. We were able to relax and just take in our surroundings. Mark made sure we had everything we needed, giving us access to the river front jetty where we took advantage of the weather, fishing and reading. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing reboot.

The Riverside Farm Escape was lovely. we enjoyed swimming in the dam, the facilities (toilet and showers) were well kept and appreciated. Overall, it was a really fun time with my family!
The site is relatively close to the Pacific Hwy so it can be loud when sleeping for extra light sleepers like myself.
Highly recommend this beautiful farm. Richard and Roslyn were kind and communicative.

We stayed on a Riverside camp and had a view overlooking the river from above a conveniently near the toilets and dam. Kids were able to kayak with the supplied gear in the dam and play on the equipment good relaxing spot. We had firewood delivered for $20. Good quality. Love that dogs can stay in. There is so much room for them to walk around. Most importantly the sites are huge. We booked two sites for2x 15 foot campers and four-wheel-drive but easily fit on the one site together. They are also fire pits supplied on every site which is nice.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful campsite.
We spent the weekend relaxing right on the riverbank and it was exactly what we needed. The highlight was seeing multiple pods of dolphins cruising past — unreal experience you don’t get everywhere.
The spot is quiet, spacious and perfect for switching off.
Our dogs had the best time swimming and running along the river while we kicked back and enjoyed the surroundings.
If you’re after a calm, relaxing riverside escape away from crowds, this place is perfect.
