The campground is tucked away in a little valley overlooking an idyllic stretch of windy river with an amazing swimming hole, sandy beach, tranquil rapids and a beautiful, mesmerising, majestic rock. We have four primative campsites suited to all types of large and small, self sufficient campers in RV's, caravans, camp trailers, vans and tents. All sites are unique and positioned to enhance space and privacy as well as proximity and views of the river. They all showcase the varying, natural beauty and characteristics of the landscape. You can also book our amazing, award winning glamping tent. We are not a party campsite. Our little slice of paradise is for peace and relaxation. We also need to respect and encourage the presence and abundance of birds and animals and continue to ensure it is a peaceful and quiet home for them. You can enjoy your music just as long as other campsites and the local wildlife can't hear it. Manilla, only 20 minutes away has two dump points and water refill stations as well as a good number of shops to cater to all your needs during your stay. We stayed here for one night on our way down to southern NSW and really enjoyed it. The views were spectacular and made it feel like more than just a quick stop. Rohan was a friendly, helpful host and made everything easy. We had no trouble finding level ground for our caravans, and the power hookup was conveniently located. The toilet was a flushing one and honestly exceeded our expectations. The river was a bit low for swimming, but it was still nice to sit in and cool off. We wished we could have stayed longer just to relax and enjoy the surrounds.

I absolutely love this property. This was my second visit. It is a quiet and very relaxing place to stay. I love that the lawn is perfect to put up a tent, the pool is great for doing a few laps and cooling off. This was such a peaceful and relaxing stay. The amenities were excellent and the whole area was incredibly quiet, which made it easy to unwind. We met Frank, who was very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed being around the farm animals—especially the beautiful horses, the large gentle bull, and the very friendly farm cat who wandered over to say hello. It added such a lovely touch to the stay. The property was also super convenient, just an easy 20-minute drive out of Tamworth. Overall, a wonderful rural escape that I’d absolutely recommend.

The house is an old school farm house with a wood fire oven, and if you want hot water, it’s the old oven that heats the hot water system. Meet our beautiful big black stallion Indi and our Plymouth Rock chickens. There is a little creek that runs beside the property.

Our property is an operating farm with cattle and horses. Native wildlife and vegetation, wooded and cleared areas, dams, a waterfall and running creek in wetter seasons, hilly and undulating paddocks. Wedge-tail eagles, owls, cockatoos and galahs, kangaroos and echidnas are all regular visitors here. This is an appreciation of the Australian bush and primary production scenery. Each of our sites are completely private from each other, from our homestead and from neighbours. From your site take in views of the valley dotted with crops and grazing stock. Pot some yabbies, cool off in a dam, keep your eyes peeled for snakes and echidnas. Explore local areas such as Nundle (45 minutes to gold panning and the Woollen Mill) and Currabubula (30 minutes to the Curra pub), visit Goonoo Goonoo Station (magnificently restored and renovated historic sheep and cattle station now also an event centre and restaurant) and Dungowan Brewery (30 minutes to remodelled shearing-shed-come-restaurant and farm animal zoo). Church on Sundays is at St Lukes at 9:00am (7 minutes to local evangelical Anglican and morning tea is served). Four wheel drive access only. Maximum speed 20kms per hour. No power. No running water. No amenities. Please bring your own waste management which can be deposited to the green lid bin at the front gate. Campfires strictly only between 1 July and 1 September and never on a windy day.

We are located east of Coonabarabran with approximately 1600+ acres of hilly bush, mostly untouched for the past 50 years. Old logging trails throughout leading to peaks for views east and west as far as the eye can see. Night fall provides star gazing below some of the cleanest air in Australia. Planes, satellites and if you squint hard enough you might see something else. Watch the Starlink trail, wish upon a shooting star. Pull your caravan out the back or park your motorhomes up the front, pitch a tent almost anywhere. Set up a camp fire and sit in the perfect silence that surrounds you. Bush walk or mountain bike around and experience kangaroos and an emu unfazed by human interaction! Discover Spa Corner, and if you are lucky enough to come across me, ask me how it came to be there. Jump in, bust out the bubbles, and post a pic to Instagram. ​ ​You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet and drinking water. There is access to a shower and rubbish facilities. This is big sky country. The skies are crystal clear and sun rises and sunsets are breath taking. So far my favourite spot on earth is out here. Come and experience it with us, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we do. ​4WDs are recommended to access the property, and there is limited access for motorhomes and 2WD (weight restrictions on motorhomes apply).
