This place is absolutely AMAZING!! I highly recommend staying here.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted and Debs took the kids off our hands to go clean up the animals and feed them. Our kids LOVED it! The set up with the fire-pit, outdoor shower, toilets and a shower was so convenient and the horses galloping in their paddocks was pretty special! The scenery is just stunning! It made me want to move to Tamworth!
Overall things were fine, but not brilliant. Horse shit used as fertiliser on the trees in the camp doesn't smell great (I'm a farmer so used to stuff, but don't really want it in my camp), the supplied firewood didn't exist and the additional charge for another camper was actually more, paid direct to the host in cash, than the average cost of the first two campers. I'd use it again, but be sure to not add anyone after the initial booking, and negotiate if firewood is available or not - it cost us $40 for wood for one night in a fire pit that is about 36inches deep and made of 2inch concrete - so it didn't let any heat out - picture a concrete circular water trough - and given it was pretty cold it kinda ruined it a bit.
Colin seems a nice guy, I never met Deb, thats fine. I reckon you're very close to having it set up well but a couple of suggestions. Buy some firewood. Places like Bendleby Ranges do that. They supply firewood to all campers - and just build it into the price. Its still cheeper than buying at a servo.
Get rid of that terrible terrible fire pit. Its a shocker. You need to burn way too much wood to get heat out of it. Replace it with something that lets the heat out, and is smaller/lower. It will do a much better job and if it were there I wouldn't have minded paying for wood... Oh and dont fertilise your camp ground with Horse manure it stinks. You may notice it, but its there.

We had a fabulous time. We went with our family of 5 and another family of 5. Debbie was so welcoming and hospitable. She took the kids around to feed her animals.
Set in an adylic spot surrounded by horses with everything you need. We had the most beautiful sunsets and used the big fire pit. Highly Recommended.

Very close to tamworth, clean bathrooms, easy access to sites and beautiful views.
Debbie was a very relaxed host, she took the kids to feed animals which was a huge hit and the kids enjoyed seeing the horses on adjoining paddocks all day.

I had such a great night camping out here! So many spots to choose from and a very friendly horse, sheep and chickens roaming around and of course kangaroos on the other side of the fence (mainly baby kangaroos)

We had a very peaceful & relaxing 3 night stay at Sheffield. Great facilities - power & water for our motorhome. We could also utilise the clean amenities - toilets & hot showers.

Everything was so easy with our stay. Colin and Debbie were helpful and friendly. The facilities were well laid out and clean and worked really well for our family staying there with our own caravan. I happily recommend and will stay again when we need to be back in Tamworth!
We had a lovely time at Sheffield; hosts Debbie & Colin were very welcoming. There was plenty for the kids to do, helping with animal feeding and just admiring the many animals on the property. Toilet and shower facilities, plenty of firewood, lots of space and a nice quiet property!

Deborah and Colin were excellent hosts and this stay was one of our favourite across Australia. Great people who you can tell just want to do the best for their community and serve others. Such a wealth of information about Tamworth CM festival as well- so make sure to ask questions if that’s on your bucket list!
Deb was great. She was extremely friendly showing our girls the animals. The site is beautiful and the amenities were clean. Highly recommend an outdoor shower at sunset.

Absolutely perfect! Unspoiled views and quiet stay with the comfort of home: super clean toilets and shower, space to cook and eat, choice of powered spot but still feel you are on your own.
Boys loved helping with animal farm.

Awsum camping here, plenty of space for large or small rigs, powered and water sites available or off grid- whatever suits!
There is toilet and shower facilities, animals in the paddock surrounds and even a couple of cabins that looked top notch! Definitely would stay here again🤙

We all had a great time here. Our kids absolutely enjoyed feeding the animals!
Bathrooms are clean. Friendly host - Debrah and Colin were kind to offer us to use the additional bathrooms in the accommodations as we had quite a big group. The firepit sure is a plus. The place is well-maintained. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great place to stay, just out of town so it is nice and quiet. Excellent friendly hosts, and a few farm animals to say hello to!!

We had 2 great nights staying at Sheffield Farm Stay. The owners were very welcoming & our site peaceful with a wonderful view of the farm & the landscape around. We will definitely be going back there to stay when we are in the area again.
Excellent stay, open flat sites, well maintained, lovely hosts. Toilet and shower available and if you time it right you get to see the animals fed.

Excellent site for couples and families. Stay for 2 nights minimum to appreciate it. Deborah is very kind and welcoming. Amenities are excellent, views to die for, large range of animals (and a chance to pat and feed them!). Kids are very safe to roam. Outdoor fire pit area and shower/bathtub. 10mins from town and a restaurant and kids play area just down the road. We will be back!
