Due to people using the orchard as a toilet we are now no longer taking people tenting. You MUST be self sufficient. Head in Batlow to check out the bakery, RSL and Pub and admire the beauty of this small town. Or head upto Tumbarumba where you can visit the Winerys and Ginnery, have lunch at Coroubya wines,The Nest or one of the many cafes. Maybe take the challange of the Tumbarumba rail trail. Check out the water falls, the blowering dam and take in those beautiful mountain views.

Endor is a primitive camp site with cabin style accommodation. There are two bunkers which are set 25m apart and each bunker can accommodate 2 people Max. Basic single bed set up with basic linen however it is required that you bring your own temperature rated sleeping bag for seasonal Camps in winter and shoulder periods. The weather can change very quickly, and temperatures can drop to below zero with snow in Winter. Campfires are allowed during the winter season and each bunker has a fire pit. Our aim is to provide a comfortable bed in an alpine off grid setting for those who seek an experience in nature. Located on Batlow Road you will experience some road traffic noise and log truck activity during peak hours in the morning and afternoon. A small reminder that you are still close to civilization.

Adelong Falls Bush Camp offers a beautiful open, flat camping area on 2 acres of land. There is 13 old friendly Cows who also share the property and you may see them wandering around. Enjoy the brand new walking track at the front of the property which takes you up to the beautiful Adelong Falls. The walking trail will have you crossing the Adelong Creek and is a beautiful and scenic experience. We are close to Tumut and within reach of the Snowy Mountains, there is plenty of 4WD opportunities and beautiful views surrounding us. We are also walking distance to the pub! Campfires are welcome in the fire pit we have created, we will supply a small amount of firewood to get you started but you may like to bring along some more. Pets are welcome on leash, we have a dog as well and your pet must be good to the cows. We often have friendly kangaroos that visit too.

The Bectric Hall was built in 1904 and has since been lovingly restored. We are now offering camping on the reserve surrounding this historic hall. The reserve is located in a true bush setting. A large open field can be used for camping or there is a gravelled area if you wish to be closer to the Hall. Please note guests will not have access to inside the hall.There is a community undercover BBQ area that can be utilised by campers, together with Tennis Courts (bring your own balls & racquet). There are no toilet or shower facilities here, campers will need to be self sufficient and leave no trace. Our property is divided by Avalon Creek Road, to the left side we have a site with more bush and native trees. On the right hand side there is less vegetation, this side of the property also leads to a creek. Land is recently reforested with native trees. Turn LEFT off Hume Highway into Adelong Creek Rd if you are driving from the South OR turn Right across freeway if you are driving from Gundagai Iconic Gundagai village is only 8 km away. Water sports, hiking, horse riding and skiing are all available in the nearby area. Also only 45 minutes from Wagga Wagga. Pets are welcome but must be contained to protect nature and wildlife. Campfires are permitted but you must have your own fire pit.

River Bend Camp

Camp on Murrumbidgee River, total river frontage is 300m, so room to spread out amongst the River Red Gums. Flat campsites with a sloping access to the river. Maximum 10 campers. The 15 acres of camping area is part of a mixed farming property (1500acres) and has easy access for camper vans. The site is 8-10 minutes from Gundagai. A canoers paradise! Put your canoe in a few kms up stream and finish at the campsite or just enjoy the solitude sitting around the campsite. A scenic drive following the Murrumbidgee and Tumut Rivers can be taken as an alternative route to Tumut or Gundagai. The site can be used a base camp to fishing, wineries, bushwalking and ski fields. There is free wood for camp fires. Friendly, well controlled pets are welcome as long as they do not spoil the camping experience of others and being mindful that there may be cattle and sheep grazing nearby. Children need to be supervised at all times as the river can be fast moving and become deep quickly and there may be the odd snake. Murrumbidgee water should be boiled or bring your own. There are no toilets at the site and all rubbish should be taken with you. Property owner lives nearby and is available for assistance

We loved tent camping at site 2. Leah met us as we arrived and was incredibly helpful in showing us where our site was and pointing out where the amenities were. We really appreciated how accomodating Leah was to our individual needs. Our camping setup is primitive, but Leah offered us more permanent shelter when a big storm rolled through during our stay. Use of the pool and interactions with the farm animals were added bonuses. We couldn't be more grateful and highly recommend that everyone stays here when visiting the region.

I loved camping at Bahwidgee! It’s so well maintained and right on the river. Wayne is an incredibly friendly host and his farm is beautiful. Only a short 3-4km walk into town (Tumut) and there’s a lovely river walk there too. Would definitely recommend and we will be back for sure.

Wonderful open area with plenty of options along the riverbend. Fishing difficult due to snags but we definitely gave it a good crack. Very steep decent down to river camping area. We had heavy caravan and luckily dry weather allowed us to get out ok. Also an awesome winery 🍷 2 mins away.

This was our third stay here in 3 years and it still is our favourite camping spot. Wayne as always was a great host. It's so tranquil with the great grassy camp sites combined with the river the bird life the cattle the views of the surrounding area and maybe a trout or two make it just so relaxing. The new toilets were a added bonus. It's only a 10 minute drive Into town for supplies and entertainment. We will be back again next year. Rob

3rd time visiting Karoola Station. This time we stayed at River Bend as the grass was too high at The Lagoon. There were 3 of us with caravans plenty of room and nice and peaceful spot. We had 4 dogs with us and they were pretty happy too!

Property was beautiful. Access through the property was well sign posted. We stayed at the lagoon where there was slow moving water for the kids to play in and fast water for fishing and adult fishing. Be warned the GPS dot for the lagoon of used in Google maps will direct you to the north side of the river and the camp-site is on the south side of the river. All in all looking forward to camping here again with friends.
