It's so fresh we drink it! Each camping site is by the river, prime position for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Based on availability, you are welcome to choose your spot on arrival. All options are grassed and level. You will have access to a pit toilets (3)otherwise, please BYO facilities. Small campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, or BYO firepit (permitting there are no restrictions in place at the time). Firewood can be purchased at the time of booking. We're pet-friendly, so you're welcome to bring your four-legged friends along! Please note, however, that we are a working farm and as such farm activities are going on, and we have resident animals, so please keep your pets under control at all times. Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended. During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. There are also some beautiful swimming spots and walks to discover in the region, as well as good facilities in town, including the local swimming pool and shopping centre. Enjoy a local brew and bite to eat at the Tumut brewery. Bahwidgee is just 3km from the Tumut town centre - so close you could ride in, or even walk.

This historic property was the site of one of the two original settlements of Tumut and was where the first bridge over the river was built. It is home to the largest English Elm tree in the world. The fertile river flats were first used for growing tobacco and then during the 1900’s, for the growing of millet. Don McDonald (Brett’s grandfather) was one of the pioneers of the local millet industry and the famous Tumut millet brooms. Six generations of local knowledge within the same family ensures your stay will be warm, welcoming and full of local information. Our cottages come complete with antique furniture and are personally maintained to the highest standards. Located on the Batlow to Tumbarumba road at Deep Gully Bend (The Old Mill) site entrance. Endor is only 2km from the village of Batlow, nestled into steep hillside and surrounded by Alpine woodland. Endor is home to a large variation of wildlife including the endangered Greater Glider and other Squirrel Glider species. Wombats roam at night along with kangaroo, wallaby and deer migrating when in season. Powerful Owls, Gang Gang and many species from the parrot family are a spectacular sight along with morning and Twighlight Finch performances. Endor is a primitive camp site with cabin style accommodation. There are two bunkers which are set 25m apart and each bunker can accommodate 2 people Max. Basic single bed set up with basic linen however it is required that you bring your own temperature rated sleeping bag for seasonal Camps in winter and shoulder periods. The weather can change very quickly, and temperatures can drop to below zero with snow in Winter. Campfires are allowed during the winter season and each bunker has a fire pit. Our aim is to provide a comfortable bed in an alpine off grid setting for those who seek an experience in nature. Located on Batlow Road you will experience some road traffic noise and log truck activity during peak hours in the morning and afternoon. A small reminder that you are still close to civilization.

Welcome to our farm! We are a family-run business passionate about growing local produce and good quality, nourishing food. The guesthouse is set on 33 acres of a working farm where we currently grow gourmet mushrooms and microgreens and will be expanding our market garden over the next few months! Come and experience and learn how our food is grown and enjoy a paddock-to-plate experience with locally grown produce available to enjoy. The space Our guesthouse is set on our 33-acre property and is located in Oura, just 25 minutes from the center of Wagga Wagga. Nestled amongst the rolling hills of Oura you will be immersed in the stillness of nature. On a clear night enjoy the beautiful display of stars undisturbed by the city lights. Just 15 minutes down the road is Oura Beach.. a little reserve on the Murrumbidgee river. Only 25 minutes away is the famous Junee Chocolate factory. Just a short 11-minute drive is the Wild Vine Winery and if you would like to indulge in some pampering book yourself in for a massage with Brooke at Figtree retreat just 7 minutes drive away. Our Space: The guesthouse is approx 100m from our home. In saying that you still have your privacy as there are gardens between us. Being a working farm you will see us moving about however we will leave you be unless you would like to interact! The guesthouse has 2 levels with the upstairs level containing a queen bed with luxurious Sheridan sheets and French linen bedding, reverse cycle aircon, flow-on heating from the fireplace downstairs, and a bathroom ensuite with a shower and toilet with toweling included. There is also a balcony off the upstairs room overlooking the gardens and market garden space. We also provide comfy and warm swags and camp mattresses for up to 2 kids to sleep in. Downstairs is a separate toilet, dining, and lounge area with a double fold-out sofa bed. The woodfire provides plenty of warmth and we provide you with chopped wood. The kitchenette is a simple little kitchen with a bar fridge, benchtop induction cooker, and a slow cooker for your meals as there is no oven. There is also a BBQ for your use as well. It is well equipped to dine at home with all essential cookware and locally sourced condiments. Enjoy your meals inside or in our outdoor dining setting. There is a full house water filtration system giving you beautiful quality water to drink and shower in. We provide a variety of herbal teas and locally ground coffee with a coffee machine. Relax with our selection of books and games. There is a steam sauna available for use as well. Take a walk by the creek and maybe take a picnic basket to enjoy there too. If you would like a personalized tour of the farm please let us know prior to arriving. Guest access You will have your own access to the guesthouse with a car space. Feel free to wander the market garden space and explore the creek and paddocks. Other things to note There are some open water areas including fish ponds and the creek so small children must be supervised to ensure their safety
