Evans Head Camping is a peaceful, tranquil, private property within 4km of the beautiful beaches, river and township of Evans Head, on the Far North Coast of NSW. Surfing, fishing, bushwalking, swimming are popular activities in Evans Head. There are ample shops, IGA, SPA, Post Office, Newsagents, Butcher, Muzza's Milk Bar, just to name a few. Dining options - Evans Head RSL, Evans Head Bowlo, Illawong Hotel, plus thai, Japxican, fish and chip take away. 4WD Beach Access is located at Airforce Beach, about 4km's away. Woodburn-Evans Head Golf Club is a 5min drive. Activities include kayaking, bird watching, bushwalking, photography and just relaxing while listening to the birdlife. Koalas and kangaroos are regular visitors. The property is only available for camping weekends (varied nights) public holidays, and Easter and Christmas holidays. This unique abode, has a relaxed feel on a 5 acre property, close to the Byron town (only 13kms) but far enough away to enjoy the solitude the hinterlands offers with access to wide open fresh air. It consists of a 1964 original vintage caravan, with an open-plan living/dining area, a gorgeous industrial-style bathroom, with a glass ceiling for star gazing & an outdoor fire-pit. The open air living allows guests to feel 100% connected to the natural environment, while at the same time having access to reliable, fast internet along with the comforts of a hot shower, flush loo etc. It is an ideal way to capture the restored feeling from remote camping, without the hassle of taking all your camping gear. Sleeping arrangements: We have a custom-made inner spring mattress that is an unusual size due to the vintage age of the vintage caravan & therefore the size, is in between a King-single & double size width & a queen-size length (which may or may not be big enough for 2 people depending on your sleeping expectations). The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other side of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children. All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space. The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. We also request that you kindly ensure that your pet does not go inside the caravan or on any of the furniture including the bed, lounge etc. If there is dog hair in the van or on the couch we may need to charge an extra cleaning fee.

Morinokoe is a 5 acre 'one planet' lifestyle vision, set in the peaceful, secure, rural residential community of Woombah, bordering the Bundjalung National Park and just 5 minutes drive from famous 'Woody Head' camp ground and Iluka's surf beaches. For paddling and fishing, it's a few hundred metres from a public jetty to the Clarence River and just a few minutes drive to the Esk river (a unique waterway that tracks through the national park). The land itself is 2/3 natural forest, with fruit trees and permaculture inspired garden design and cleared areas with space for parking, playing and camping. The property includes two separate bases for holiday stays: 1) Retro Caravan (morinokoe-ko) The (two room) caravan is basic, but newly renovated with a covered roof allowing for a large outdoor patio area, covered back deck, camp toilet. basic kitchen equipment (cooking on your campfire). There is one power outlet supplied to the caravan, but lighting is provided by solar lights around the site. Access to power is provided at the main house. There's access to a toilet, shower (cold water) and drinking water supply. There is a Jamie Oliver grill for cooking at the table, and a fire pit on hand as well. There are basic cooking implements, cutlery and crockery as well as a large green water tank for washing and drinking. Morinokoe is a place of peace and privacy that provides a balance between convenience, security (friendly neighbourhood) and accessibility and the peace and quiet of being deep in the forest (where you can walk or ride your bike straight into the national park). We have rubbish and composting facilities. Pets on leashes welcome.

Centrally located in the Northern Rivers area, Forest Farm is just 30 mins from Bryon Bay, 15mins from Lennox Head and Ballina and Bangalow, 10 mins from Newrybar and Alstonville and 5 mins from Killen Falls. Staying at Forest Farm gives you access to many famous markets, bike trails, national parks and walking trails, boating, brilliant beaches, restaurants and cafes … you name it. And in between all those visits you get to come home to a very special kind of paradise in a beautiful valley surrounded by trees and forest, birds and other native animals. The property is home to koala, wallabies, echidnas, and many different birds (local birdwatching groups have identified over 100 different species so far). A lovely walk along Emigrant Creek starts from the camping area, and the path leads you through to Tintenbar General Store, a great place for a morning coffee, and any supplies you need. Kayaking and fishing are common along Emigrant Creek. And if you’re lucky, you may just get a glimpse of the elusive platypus along the way. Forest Farm is a quiet, peaceful place and we welcome likeminded campers. We value our relationship with our neighbours, so please no parties or loud music. Laughter always welcome!!!! P.S. As we are located in the secluded and sleepy cane fields of South Ballina there is limited access to shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. The Burns Point Ferry is the best way to get to us, it runs from 5:30am until 12.30am daily, consistently running back and forth. An approx. 8min journey each way and costs $7.00 each way, payable by credit card only. So you can easily go into Ballina town for all shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. If the ferry isn't for you, you can drive to Ballina via Wardell on River Drive. The bungalow is located approx. 25m from the main residence, and the campsite is located approx. 300m from the main residence tucked away in the paddocks and forest. We are onsite and available if needed. Sugar Beach Ranch is an operating farm with staff onsite caring for animals and maintaining the grounds. You will feel like you are immersed in the beauty of nature here and yet you are only 6 minutes easy drive from the village of Dunoon, NSW 2480 and 45 minutes beautiful country drive from glorious Byron Bay beaches and it's very exciting night life! On every second sunday of the month, the Channon Markets are on, which is just 10 minutes drive from camp. Dunoon village is cute yet, very practical. There is a general store, bottle shop and they sell ice, Mechanic, Post Office and the best bit, you can even go out for dinner or lunch depending on the day, at the Dunoon Sports Club/ Pub then head back to your secluded country camp and cool off in the beautiful creek or warm up and enjoy some quality time around the camp fire!
