Beautiful and quiet spot! Had the entire campsite to ourselves. 10 mins away from local beach and Swan Lake. Friendly horses, kangaroos and farm animals! Would definitely come back! Lisa was also very friendly and helpful during our stay!

We loved our stay at Horses for healing at Sussex Inlet and would highly recommend this spot for anyone who is looking to stay at quiet and secluded spot.
The property was easy to find and host met us at arrival.
Campground is located near the paddock with alpacas and a donkey (host told that we could pet them, but they were shy and kept their distance, so we decided not to disturb them). We saw many kangaroos during our stay as well.
Overall nice spot and would try to come again during warmer months.

Easy access, all level had 22ft caravan in there with Plenty of space. Slight road noise from Hume hwy. you can find firewood in nearby bushes, chickens for kids to see. A little pricey but would stay again.

Yes you can hear the highway traffic all hours but it’s not significant enough to worry you.
Lovely hosts.
The only negative is the lack of signage.
I think the sites should be numbered or named and allocated.
The pathways through the bush to the river should also be sign posted, not easy to navigate, i can see visitors getting lost .
Would I come back? Definitely

What a great spot to take it easy, Dana was the best with a great welcome. What a wonderful place to camp. Walk to the River it does takes a little effort to get down there but worth it, and not far from Berrima to walk around the town and have lunch at the pub.
Lots of fire wood you just have to look for it.
Thanks again, we stayed 9 nights lots of star to see while sitting around a fire.
We will be back as not for from Sydney.

5 nights at Sussex Horses For Healing
We loved Lisa’s farm. It’s a lovely big flat area with great fire pit and small covered shed that you can use. There is a porta a loo on site. It is peaceful with birds wallabies and horses around, walks into the bush and a short drive into Sussex inlet, lakes and Cudmirrah. We explored the area and found lots of beaches good surf and coffee too! Would definitely return. Lisa and her husband were very helpful and kind.

We loved camping at Horses for Healing! Lisa made us feel so at home, the place was easy to access and has a portaloo which makes things nice and easy. The animals are gorgeous and there is so much wildlife and nature to see in the beautiful area. Could not recommend enough!!!!

Lisa welcomed us with open arms onto her property in the large back paddocks, which felt like a secluded and private sanctuary, with beautiful green grass and surrounded by large gum trees, kangaroos and crimson rosellas. Her horses were calm in the background and there was plenty of space for my dog to roam, run and explore the area. Thank you for a lovely stay and a safe and welcoming place to come back to when I’m next in the area.
