We are located east of Coonabarabran with approximately 1600+ acres of hilly bush, mostly untouched for the past 50 years. Old logging trails throughout leading to peaks for views east and west as far as the eye can see. Night fall provides star gazing below some of the cleanest air in Australia. Planes, satellites and if you squint hard enough you might see something else. Watch the Starlink trail, wish upon a shooting star. Pull your caravan out the back or park your motorhomes up the front, pitch a tent almost anywhere. Set up a camp fire and sit in the perfect silence that surrounds you. Bush walk or mountain bike around and experience kangaroos and an emu unfazed by human interaction! Discover Spa Corner, and if you are lucky enough to come across me, ask me how it came to be there. Jump in, bust out the bubbles, and post a pic to Instagram. You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet and drinking water. There is access to a shower and rubbish facilities. This is big sky country. The skies are crystal clear and sun rises and sunsets are breath taking. So far my favourite spot on earth is out here. Come and experience it with us, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we do. 4WDs are recommended to access the property, and there is limited access for motorhomes and 2WD (weight restrictions on motorhomes apply). If you're unsure about your camping vehicle please message before booking. Pets are welcome, and off leash by negotiation.

Liberty Plains offers bush camping for self contained campers. day trips are also available by booking the site that is listed as ‘day trips’ please read the description under that site before booking. There is one toilet available, a portable toilet (if the toilet runs out of soap/paper etc you will need to supply your own. The property offers a large dam for kayaking, fishing, yabbying. There is also bush walking. There is a small common area/ shed available with a bbq for guests to use and a table. There is also a shower and toilet available near the main house shed for a donation in the donation box to cover water and gas. If exploring please do not go through any fences as you may end up on a neighbors property. Guests may camp as close or far away from the main dam as they like, camp sites are first in first served. Pets allowed if kept under control, firewood is permitted to be used from the ground only no felling of standing trees, you may have a fire on the ground. Please find your own way to camp by following your map that will be sent to you on booking and the signs that are posted from the driveway on after you turn in the main entrance, no need to meet and greet with host although I may come around occasionally to see if everything is going alright.

YARRALLA on the Marthaguy

The Marthaguy Campground on 'Yarralla' is located on the Newell Highway 5 km south of Gilgandra - The town of the Windmills. 55 km North of Dubbo with easy access to the Dubbo Western Plains Zoo and 80 km South of the Warrumbungle National Park. The campground is 800m off the Newell Highway tucked in on the Marthaguy Creek out of highway sight. Yarralla is a working mixed farming enterprise running sheep, cattle and cropping. The campground also overlooks a large dam with a Jetty. The campground offers a safe and secure location to camp away from town with a shelter shed with water over a sink, a picnic table and a hot shower. Wood is available for a camp fire during winter months.

Twenty five acres or 10 hectares of mainly native bushland on the Cooks Gap escarpment. Located on the main road between Mudgee & the Upper Hunter region. On property, part of the Great Dividing Range, are many bush walks through beautiful native bush land which is home to many native animals & birdlife. Extra beautiful following rain when the creeks and cascades are flowing. Within short distances you can also visit quaint towns, Gulgong, Mudgee, Rylstone & Kandos who offer many & varied experiences. Mudgee area is also wine country, offering many tasting experiences as well as world class restaurants. There are also many natural attractions such as The Drip close by. Catering to the horse riding community is a specialty, through electric fence paddocks & a full size round yard to accommodate your exploring furry friends. Suggested quiet road rides through the wine growing district of the areas are close by & accessible after a short float ride. There are many camping sites available ranging from group areas, for club set-ups to secluded camp sites located within the bushed areas. A centralised area flushing toilet and a caravan equipped with essentials such as barbecue, tea & coffee making facilities and small fridge is available to all campers but for campers taking advantage of the secluded sites, a portable toilet would be advantageous to bring considering distance from provided site. Dogs are very welcome as they are very much our fur-kids. For longer stays, laundry facilities & showers are available by arrangement.
