For the kids, we have our newly finished aquatic centre with splash park, and two bmx pump tracks and skate parks. We are located a short 20min drive to "Rambo" the big ram, which is on the list of big things located within Australia. Walk to the top and experience the local sheep industry history as well as shop local produce and giftware. Located a 20min drive west to the beautiful country towns of Crookwell and Taralga, where you can find country pubs, boutique eateries and shops or why not visit Taralga wildlife park for your up close encounter with some animals. Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm and protecting our wildlife is priorty. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water. Welcome to this remote piece of paradise! Rhapsody is located in Gingkin,, which is not far from Oberon NSW, about 3 hours west of Sydney. Campsites are hidden in a remote valley direct frontage to the pristine Hollanders River, adjoining the Kanangra-Boyd National Park. There are two private campsites on grassy river flats surrounded by eucalyptus forest. The sites are very secluded so you will see lots of wildlife and you're guaranteed not to see any other people! Only one group can stay at each campsite and campsites are on different parts of the river so privacy is guaranteed. In dry conditions 2WD is fine for Wallaby flat but in wet weather, 4WD is required. Platypus flat is 4wd only. You can always park at the top of the hill and walk down first if you're not sure. Dog friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Gather your own wood from fallen timber on the way in or BYO wood. Not much firewood available on site. Both campsites can get quite cool as they are low in the valley. This is a wild and remote area. Guided remote bushwalks also available for those who are fit and adventurous. Both campsites have a pit toilets, cold shower, spring water on tap, picnic tables.. Water is sourced from a distant spring in the mountain and is gravity fed to the site by above ground pipe which heats the water during the day. There is a small area where you can get Telstra mobile reception at the cattle grid on the way into the property, but very limited mobile reception in this area. If you are on Optus or other networks you won't get any reception. There is no mobile reception at camp - perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature!

With over 600 acres of Australian bush, our property is ideal for campers that want their own space. We are completely off-grid (no wifi to distract you) and we run off tank water (for this reason showers are only available for two hours in the evening). There are multiple camp sites on the property - some are close to hot showers and toilets, others are within a short walking distance. Some sites are perfect for our self sufficient campers who might want a nice private location and don't need access to amenities. There are two shared camp kitchen areas (with pizza ovens and bbqs). We have two amenities blocks with toilets and hot showers and two further compost toilets located at other sites. Campfires are permitted in designated areas (check with us when booking) and firewood can be added to your booking - we do require at least 24 hours notice if you want wood. There are lots of old-style games for the kids such as cricket, tennis, playground, bikes available, a swim in the dam and general country running around fun! Unfortunately we no longer have our flying fox, but there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy. We have some great bush walking areas where you might be lucky enough to see our resident wombats or our breeding pair of Wedge-tailed Eagles. The property dates back to the early 1900s and there are numerous historic buildings on the property. The earliest is a wooden slab hut that was built around the beginning of the 19th century - the Goulburn Penny Post newspaper, dated 3 December 1904 lines the walls of the hut. It also has a two shearing stand wooden shed built by Marcus Dawe in 1922. We try to make sure all of our guests have a great experience - so if you have any special requests reach out to us and have a chat!

Binacrombi is a beautiful property featuring 530 acres of raw bushland. It is covered in trails and is the perfect location for adventuring, hiking, swimming, exploring, and biking. We currently have the following available for your enjoyment: 2 x 4 occupancy cabins 2 x 5 occupancy cabins 2 x 6 occupancy cabins 25 person dormitory 3 campsites Accessible to all of our guests is a communal recreation room featuring a shared kitchen and dining facilities, as well as an indoor lounge and game room. With our camping sites, cabins and large 25 person dormitory we are perfectly equipped to handle large group bookings so keep us in mind for your next group gathering. We are also a licensed off-road recreational vehicle area. Please note riders/drivers must sign a waiver from Binacrombi before hitting the trails, as motorbikes and 4WD's ARE NOT covered by Hipcamp insurance.

Catch magnificent sunsets from our 'sunset rock' and wake to Kangaroos and beautiful bird life as well as the extraordinary call of our resident Lyrebirds. Oakwood is located 25 minutes from Mittagong and Berrima with all that the Southern Highlands has to offer and 30 minutes to the beautiful Wollondilly River at Goodman's Ford. It's on a windy dirt road with very little traffic - a true escape to paradise.

We camped on the top of the hill in the wedding paddock. Had great views. Had a bath in the tubs with a view and watched the sunset from Sunset hill. Walked all over this large property. Very nice place.

Great spot! This is my second time out here, this time down by the river. The track down to the river is challenging, quite steep, but if you have a capable 4x4 you will be fine. The river and the views were amazing. We had a bit of bad weather which made the track a bit more iffy but in the dry it is straight forward. If you have a standard AWD or basic 4x4 the camping areas up the top of the property are great as well. Stuart is great very friendly and helpful.

Was good stop over for a few nights, decided to leave early to make it to Melbourne quicker. Really private, fairly flat and peaceful. There was a white car that flew down the driveway a few times, so we had to make sure our children stayed away from that area.

Weekend Trip to Redlands Camping

We spent the weekend at Wilson’s Flat campsite and it was perfect! Directions to the property were very easy to follow. We definitely came at the right time, plenty of water in the creek to dip your toes in or make a splash in the deep parts, green grass for as far as you could see. Campsite nestled along the creek surrounded by rolling hills, the views were absolutely stunning. What stood out was how well maintained everything was. The toilet was well looked after and stocked with everything you needed, bins were provided, great campfire, a map to the property if you wanted to explore or hike. Generous spacing between campsites you were in your own little oasis! From the very beginning everything was easy, well thought out and cannot fault anything. Thankyou Jen and John for a wonderful stay, we will be back again!!

Weekend Trip to Boorowa Hipcamp - Wombles Common

Another great stay at Boorowa Wombles Common. The area was clean mown and right on the river. Love the addition of a firepit. The adjoining pathway was great to take into town both walking and bike riding. We enjoyed watching the sheep wander around the paddock and the creeky windmill across the river gave that real country feel not forgetting the view of beautiful sunsets and sunrise. Easy to find location although our 19ft van is possibly maximum size to get through the main gate. We even managed to catch a rather large carp on the first night. Will come back again
