SELF CONTAINED CAMPERS ONLY To keep our valley pristine, all campers must be fully self-contained. This means having your own toilet, water supply, and taking all waste with you when you leave. This is non-negotiable to maintain the site's natural beauty. PETS are welcome provided they are good with other dogs and livestock. FLOOD WARNING The property is located on river frontage, it may be subject to flooding during heavy rain. Please check with us 3 days before arrival to confirm current conditions. In case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground may be available. While the photos showcase the stunning blue waters, please note that the water’s appearance may change after heavy rain. You are welcome to enjoy campfires, provided there are no local restrictions. Firewood is available for purchase onsite. Plenty of space is available for caravans, camper trailers, and tents. The sites are 4WD only due to water crossings and challenging road conditions after heavy rain. PRIMITIVE CAMPING We do not have on-site amenities. Please bring all necessary supplies, including a camp toilet. It is essential to maintain the cleanliness of the site, NO DIGGING HOLES and all waste must be removed upon departure. We have a collection point for cans + bottles. Please note that there is no phone reception. If you require internet access, WiFi is available by the main cottage. Set on 100 acres, half way between Sydney and Brisbane and just 5 minutes off the Pacific Highway, The Harvest House is an ideal place to stop over to break-up your journey. The property is a mixture of fields and bushland. Old logging tracks cut through the trees are perfect for exploring. There is an abundance of wildlife from kangaroos and wallabies to red and yellow tailed black cockatoos, and even the occasional echidna!There are several camping areas to choose from. My property consists of 100 acres with two rivers joining in the property with at least 1 km of river frontage. We are located in the foothills of the Nambucca valley. Pristine beaches are 20 minutes away, mountains and four-wheel drive tracks are a quick 20 minutes the other way. From here it's 15 minutes to Bellingen, 25 minutes to the famous Pub With No Beer and 5 minutes to the historic "verandah posts" town of Bowraville. Here you will find beautiful bird watching, animals and wildlife. Park your car or set up your caravan next to the river where you will wake up to amazing views. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbank, breathe in the fresh clean air, try a spot of fishing or sit back and enjoy some bird watching. Warm your feet by the campfire in the evenings. We're located 20 minutes from Nambucca Heads as well as Scotts Heads beaches, and 30 minutes from Taylors Arm. A quick trip up into the foothills will take you to some great 4WD and mountain biking tracks, or you can explore the region and visit the historical Pub With No Beer. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, a picnic table and rubbish facilities. We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite and the river but 2WDs are ok. Your pet is welcome to camp with you.

The property is private and quiet and has stunning sunrise and sunset views as well as multiple camping sites fit for various needs and group sizes. We have recently built a large shared communcal space for campers to enjoy and there are also clean, odourless composting toilets and hot showers available for use on site. There is lots of space to walk and explore with tracks leading up into the heart of the National Park. Nearby are many gorgeous rivers, beaches and other national parks to explore. We are convieniently located only 10 minutes from Macksville for shopping and cafes and only 15 minutes from Scotts Head, a great beach for families and surfers.

Absolutely pristine & secluded. We had the place all to ourselves, with a crystal clear swimming hole, beautifully maintained grounds & surrounded by birds & wildlife. Our host Sammy was so welcoming & friendly, with excellent communication & check in directions. The guest wifi near the cottage, was especially appreciated. We can’t wait to return to this amazing oasis. 🌳

We had such a wonderful stay at Wia Ora Crossing. The private campsite made it feel peaceful and secluded, and the creek just steps away was absolutely beautiful. The swimming hole is a real highlight — clear, refreshing, and completely private. It was the perfect place to switch off, relax, and enjoy nature without any interruptions. another great spot in the Bowraville area, a good level campsite on a great little water hole, good and refreshing on a hot afternoon on arrival, very quite and peaceful with the whole campsite to our selves, plenty of room for the dog to run around although he spent most of his time in the water. the hosts are a very friendly young family and Sam was very helpful, and the kids turned up with fresh farm eggs, very much appreciated. we will definitely be back

This campsite was absolute magic. The grounds were pristine and peaceful, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy nature. The river was a dream—clean, calm, and perfect for swimming. We loved sharing the space with the friendly cows and the sweetest horse, who greeted us like old friends. Our dogs were in heaven, running free and soaking up the fresh air. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe deeply, and smile a lot. We felt completely relaxed and connected to the land. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

Weekend Trip to Yagaari Mountainside Sanctuary

My friends and I stayed for the weekend and absolutely loved it! The whole place was spotless and beautifully maintained — you can really tell how much care goes into keeping it that way. The swimming hole and facilities are a short walk from the campsites, and if you head up the hill, you’ll get stunning sunset views. Alex was incredibly welcoming, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed (even supplied us with loads of firewood!). Can’t wait to come back!

Well what an amazing place Wia Ora is. We didn’t get to see Nick but his communication for our stay and how to get there was fantastic. Nick’s property is absolutely amazing. The stream was clear, cold but not freezing. The cows and horse were amazing to watch, come close to camp then wander across the river to the other side, then late afternoon come back over river to our side and graze until they wandered up to top paddock. We had two cows come up close and even had a lay down by our camp for a fiesta. Had a lovely walk upstream and at times it was only knee high so you could walk in the water. We set up camp under the trees for shade and to be close by the stream. No service so it was so easy to disconnect to city life and worries and relax and enjoy the scenery, our dog absolutely loved the space to throw a stick and the water. Nice drive to Nambucca heads to beach and shops. We definitely will be returning for sure. We stayed a week but would have loved to have stayed longer.

WOW !!!!! My partner and I along with our 2 doggos had the most amazing time here. The camp spot is immaculate and perfect, the running water was so clear and fresh. No mozzies, no flys, everything was perfect. Nick was a great host and the property was stunning. We will definitely stay here again and as often as possible.
