We are an environmental biodiversity precinct so don’t permit damage to vegetation. We offer pick your own fruit so are open to the public daily (closed on occasion). Trading hours can be viewed at www.bookingscanoeladns.com. We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

Our river access is normally shallow, well-suited to young families or those who just want to lay back and enjoy a refreshing dip. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing are provided free of charge along with bird watching, local wildlife, and horses in surrounding paddocks. We offer limited sites to comply with NSW Camping legislation and Hipcamp guidelines and to enable campers to experience the Colo as it should be, listening to the beautiful wildlife and really appreciating the outdoors. Sites are large with varying distance between each to enable you to enjoy the camping experience in your own space. Both paddock sites and limited river spots are available. If planning to stay with friends and you wish to share a site only 1 booking is required, the sites are large, some up to 30m x 30m. IMPORTANT: Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, with conditions, and a $20 fee applies. Please check with Hosts before booking. Once approved, please add the Pets Extra when booking. (Saturday night 2-night minimum) There is no mobile reception or internet access, therefore, providing a true off-grid retreat. Self-sufficient campers are preferred. There are fire drums available on each site, most with grill plates - subject to RFS bush fire danger ratings on the day. There are three communal flushing toilets and two awesome hot water showers! ALL waste is to leave with you! We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

We’d definitely recommend this place! Debbie and Lambert were wonderful hosts, incredible welcoming and accommodating especially with our later check in. Debbie was available at all times for anything we needed and Lambert showed us around the amenities which included a very modern bathroom and kitchen inside a large shed that we were lucky to have to ourselves for two nights. Lovely shack creatively situated on a rocky outcrop beside the McDonald river. It has all the charm of a yesteryear hideaway. It’s an experience not a polished hotel, think secret mountain recluse, take your book, your art stuff and a bottle of wine. we loved the bush views and sounds, the location and the quirk! Swimming in the river near by, zipping into town for a coffee or beer and enjoying the cute town of St Albans. Loved it so much we can’t wait to come back!

Lovely campsite and we had a great stay. The toilets were just a short walk from the campsite and the campsite was surrounded by nice fruit trees. My son loved feeding the animals and communication with Jaime was easy.

Even though we went there between the fruit season and the hosts were taking Christmas break, our kids had a great time. The lady opened the shop in the morning and we were able to grab some honey and ice cream. Our kids loved walking around the orchard, played in the sandpit for a quite long time and enjoyed especially feeding animals. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They also had 2 beautiful dogs Billy and Steve-O who were like 10 times bigger than our dog but they were gentle. Site 3 was very good that it was very private and close enough to amenities.

Beautiful location and plenty of space to find a space of your own without being on top of each other. Friendly owners that take the time to talk and tell us a story or two about their property. Amazing that we are able to make fires too. There was a big group next to us that was a little too noisy too late and Gary went to speak to them in the day. They care about keeping this place about nature and peace. Would go again!

With two kids in tow, this spot was perfect, it had everything on site for a great bush retreat. We loved the hot showers and tips from the host plus the walks on property were great for a 5y/o without the need to go too far. We also lived that it was a little over 1hr from Sydney.

I absolutely loved staying here. It was ultra private and such a great facility with the toilet, shower and outdoor living room. I would definitely come back again. The property has character with little signs and sculptures everywhere. A wonderful rainforest on the property that has some interesting and noisy wild life!

We spent one and a half weeks at Yara's place and it has become our favourite camp ground. Beautiful spot, close to the pristine Colo River, spacious but secluded and private. Toilets are well maintained and clean, hot water showers. As for Yara, she was fun, engaging and inspiring to talk with. She meets each newcomer with a smile and advice how to camp and farewells them with a wave of her hand. We highly recommend this place and we'll visit again.
