Exclusive site on our 80acre working property just off the Warrego Highway at Haigslea.

(Please note as we are 1km off the highway there is mild highway noise.)

** Current Update ** Due to no rain - our dam level is quite low. Still plenty of water to have a paddle about, but wouldn’t recommend for swimming as potential submerged islands/debris. The campsite has its own gate access for self checkin and checkout and is located next to our 14 acre dam. This splits off to another private smaller dam with banks and secret hideaways to explore.

The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels (try your luck at fishing, we haven’t had such luck.)

There is a large pontoon to take in the evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)

The campsite is bordered by seasonal crop paddocks and recently a stunning addition of our windmill and feature tank** tank damaged in last storm (new upgraded one coming soon!)

We have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, so you may have some friends hanging about. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)

**Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife ***

Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club. Guests will be able to see them fly around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club.

During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globemasters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area.

As we are a working property, there is always something happening, you may see our resident farmer on his tractors or machinery or trucks driving around the perimeters!

This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower, and drinking water supply.

A basic long drop outhouse is set up for guest use.

Please leave no trace and take all rubbish with you.

Private gate access from the road.

We will send through an information email for self check in and check out the week prior which will include the gate code.

Perfect for a place to hideaway and relax or a base to explore the surroundings.

- For families, the Ewenique hobby farm is located roughly 500m up the road. Check out their social media, a good activity for the kids during the day.

- Perfect spot to explore all our little country towns from. Fernvale is only a short drive, the famous Fernvale bakery is a must.

- Check out discover Ipswich for whats on or around. Many great local pubs and things to see and do!

PLEASE NOTE:

We are happy to have guests camp with other friends or family, the site can fit around 5-6 vans.

** PRICING - $50.00 per night per vehicle (caravan/camper/friend/family group)

Booking price is not broken down for individual people. $50.00 per night per vehicle/caravan and or friend/family groups staying together.

To keep it basic: different family group/ friend groups are to pay seperate if camping together.

you will need to add the extra twice if it is for two nights (or 4 times if booking for 2 extra caravans/campers/tents etc for two nights etc.)
