Spacious private sites, benches, hammocks and grilltop fire pits, everything you need to kick back and let stress melt away to the fall season 🍂⛺☕ Easy and straight forward access from major highways and turnpikes for those traveling through Welcome to our Award Winning campsite, Sky Valley Acres, just 20 minutes from Oklahoma State University This is where history meets the horizon! Come join us out in our little slice of country paradise, 30 acres of natural prairie and woodlands nestled on the highest peak in the county overlooking the historic Twin Mounds Valley. Not too far from home, but just far enough to feel like an adventure and escape, we are conveniently located 20 minutes outside the quaint college town of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Our sites offer both large open areas for vehicles and activities paired with private wooded forest for tents and seclusion. Individual sites are acres apart designed in such a way that every experience is peaceful and private. We offer maintained camping sites which are easily accessible and come with amenities, in addition, we host an alternative primitive camping experience for the pros further in the Backwoods. What ever your needs or preference we have a spot for you! We have easy access to two main highways with the nearest Walmart 10 minutes away, not to mention great cell phone coverage for all the main providers at most locations on the property. A little bit about how we started. Like most of us, we were in desperate need of a place to get away from the bustle and grind of daily life, to slow down, decompress, and destress. This land the universe had waiting for us, gave us just that! It changed our lives and now we are excited to open up this sanctuary to others who share our passion for the great outdoors! Interestingly, each year we find out more about our home, from its Native American prehistory, to its 19th century Civil War conflict, and most recently, a lost article published in the 1940s in the local Oklahoman gazette that enticingly gossips about long lost Buried Treasure!

This is our easy in and out last minute-find a place to stay- book site, designed for those who are travelling through and are looking for a convenient safe place to park, relax, shower and rest. It's right at the front of the property and nestled in a mature tree grove, site comes with a picnic table and grill top over large fire ring. This is one of the more historic areas of our grounds, if you leave the site and look to the south you'll see the northern twin mound where scouts would look for both the law and on coming armies in the 19th century, and just to the south east about 50 paces is an old cavernous hide out that the "Wild Bunch- Doolin/Dalton gang allegedly hid out from watchful eyes on their trail towards Tulsa. Site comes with access to nearby composting toilets, showers and trails, Wi-Fi wont reach this area but can be reached if you park closer to the bathrooms. Comes with park bench, grill top, and hammock! "Come get away and enjoy 30 acres of space and solitude. This is our guest favorite, it sits at the back of the property after winding through meadow and hilltop, it is secreted away in the cedar woodland, depending on the season there is a rushing creek or dry bed revealing the giant stone slabs! Spread out in the meadow or cuddle up in privacy on the hammock, either way this is a fantastic site for an individual or large group. This site is a drivable distance to the composting toilets and showers. Comes with park bench, grill top, and hammock! " Come get away and enjoy 30 acres of space and solitude. Campers appreciate the well-maintained sites and the thoughtful amenities like the hammock and clean bathrooms. The host, Ash, is noted for being responsive and helpful, ensuring guests feel safe and comfortable. While the natural setting is delightful, visitors should be prepared for encounters with ticks and bugs common in wooded areas.
