The bright teal blue water of Lost Creek Reservoir in the Joseph H. Stewart Recreation Area beckons you. Rent a boat from the marina and go looking for trout in the reservoir lake--or strap on some water skis and follow behind your own boat for a wild, wet ride. Hike or bike beneath the large, lush conifer trees on the recreation area’s 11 miles of trails, or pack a picnic and set up for a few hours in the large day-use area--there’s even a kitchen area with gas stoves and a bbq trailer for rent if you want to go gourmet. You can also swim, spot wildlife, and--if you’re staying overnight--stargaze after the sun goes down. Trust us, Joseph H. Stewart’ll keep ya busy!
