Property gate is located on the east side of McConnell Road. Drive in and take an immediate left. Stay on the trail, and drive slow past the pinetree grove located directly on your right. Park your car along the north side of that grove.
It is a very short hike up to the hardwood grove where the primitive campsite is.
Beautiful site!
Once you park your car, you will see the walking trail right in front of you which leads up to the hardwood grove campsite.
It is about a four minute walk up to the campsite. It's a lovely area.

Our front yard in the autumn is a breathtaking sight with glowing leaves and bright sunshine.
A few different times, we have had live music on property. The bands as well as the audience loved the river setting. Those that get hot dancing can take a quick dip and get back at it!
Hops have become popular in many places; Traverse City and the surrounding area is no exception! These grow in a big field in Empire - you'll want to see them on your way to Sleeping Bear Dunes!
You'll have full use of our community fire ring, which has a grill available to you. Lots of good conversations and fun happen here!
Are you looking for a guided fly fishing trip? Traverse City has a few outfits to choose from; we'll be glad to help set it up!
