Once a bustling lumber town established by early settlers, New Richmond now sits idle along the riverbank of the Lower Kalamazoo River. Our property was the site for boat merchants to moor their boats and resupply for freight and lumber transfer down river to Singapore Harbor on Lake Michigan (known today as Saugatuck, MI) where it was shipped across our nation.
