Fast Forward 150 years...... Welcome to WaterTrail Ventures...Where the pavement ends, adventure begins! Come paddle, play and stay with us! Our riverbend glamping sites await your arrival! Fully furnished with air beds and linens, also included is a stocked firepit and drinking water. Kayak and Canoe Rentals onsite for self guided river adventure or hire one of the local area Fishing Guides! This is a great space for families to reconnect for the weekend. Located on our private river bank this is on 3 acres of land shared by 2 personal glamping sites and a rustic group campsite. Our sight offers scenic views of sunrise on the riverbend as well as the New Richmond Swing Bridge, now open to pedestrian traffic only. The small county park next door offers a riverside boardwalk full of natural flora and wildlife for morning strolls or the delight of a fisherman who likes to be 1st on the water! Kayak and Canoe Rentals are also available on sight, best to reserve in advance. Hiking trails nearby offer a great way to explore the Allegan Forest or the lakeshore sand dunes. We are 7 miles east of Saugatuck and 5 miles north of Fennville, our site makes a perfect escape from the nearby lakeshore shopping and dining district while keeping you in close proximity to local wineries and other attractions. Just follow the paved road all the way to the end of 57th street and enter through our private drive. ....where the pavement ends, adventure begins! See ya at the river!

Our group site is located riverside, in a wide open area under the stars right on the riverbank, where you can pitch upto 4 tents or 2 camper trailers up to 22' long around a community fire pit and picnic table. It can also be combined with our Trestle Bell site to make your group space a little larger. We provide the firewood and 5 gal fresh water jug with hand pump.

Our 13' diameter Cabana Bell Tent on our private river bank is furnished with 3 air mattresses, linens, throw rugs, picnic table, fire ring and small grill. Firewood is provided and charcoal for the first meal. (bring xtra charcoal). We even supply a 5 gal water jug with hand pump. This is a great spot to retire after a day of fun and excitement touring our natural river or the local wineries. Local to the Saugatuck Lakeshore, we are minutes away from shopping, dining and local nightlife along the waterfront as well as countryside wineries and vineyards. We also offer kayak and canoe rentals onsite.

The Riverbend Depot offers panoramic view of the river with privacy mesh to keep out bugs and limit view in from outside. Enjoy your view of the river from your fully screened tent or drop the outer shades for full privacy. We provide a King Koil, queen size air mattress furnished with linens and pillows or add twin air mattresses to accommodate 4 and throw blankets to take the chill off. Includes picnic table and fire pit fully stocked with wood. Charcoal grill with basic grill utensils and enough charcoal for your first meal. 5 gal water jug with hand pump. Please bring your own disposable dinnerware. Solar LED lighting around site, fairy lighting in tent. Surrounded by the Allegan State Game Area for nature enthusiasts and minutes away from lake shore shopping district of Saugatuck that offers amazing nightlife entertainment, all our area has to offer and an overall great place to relax after enjoying a day out exploring. This historical village was once the first center of commerce established by early settlers on the local trade route. It is now home to our neighbor, New Richmond Bridge County Park and train trestle that lends to the nostalgia of the area. The park features a winding riverside boardwalk and pedestrian iron swing bridge. Great place to take in a morning stroll. There is also a DNR boat ramp for easy access to our property if you want to bring your fishing boat! Popular location for fishing, boating and reconnecting with nature.

Sleeps 2 comfortably with futon in main room for a 3rd person, 1 bedroom w/full size bed, dresser, reading nook/dining area. Shower and Kitchen sink with hot running water (10 gal tank) and electricity! Kitchen has pots/pan with cooking utensils, dorm style fridge, microwave, coffee pot and disposable dinnerware. Outside you will find a charcoal grill and picnic table in the private yard. Seperated from our livery operation at the lower end of the property, this is a great place to relax and enjoy an evening on the river with your favorite person, beverage and a fishing pole. Julie and Bill were awesome hosts, very accommodating and friendly. The site itself was next level. We had a larger group and it was perfect. Loved camping riverside and birdwatching. We disc golfed, kayaked, and sang campfire songs. Keep an eye out for an osprey or two. Awesome getaway!
