Welcome to Fabulous Fennville Quiet end of the road property-Birders, Stargazing, Foraging. Workshops Seasonally thru Art [xxxxxxxx] Birds abound. Migrating Sandhills through May. Bees abuzz and the milkweed full of Monarchs. The sultry evening air lengthens the day until the fire flies remind us to stop and enjoy the night-lite show. It’s an authentic slice of nature with a pond backdrop and a perch atop of a slope side forest. Enjoy a sunset stretch on a yoga mat in the near by Gazebo. Watch the morning sun creep over the pond with a cup of artisan crafted coffee roasted on site. Private yet so close to Saugatuck (10min) Douglas (5min) and Fennville. Cannabis friendly local musicians sometimes join us for fire pit impromptu when stars align. We’ve set aside a slice of Art Farm Fennville for quiet contemplation. 24 hrs access to the restroom and the shower. Communal kitchen space of the Art barn has toaster oven, electric tea kettle, mini fridge, rice cooker, grill and bbq. Basic condiments on table. You will find a no-mow pastural setting of permaculture principles with paths to explore. Bee hives. Ponds to fish. There's no spray gardens with walking path for exploring, birdwatching and spying shooting stars with no light pollution. We love to foodgeek-as we locavore the best of our neighboring farms offerings with a pop-up artisan goods CSA weekly featuring coffee beans artisan roast /grind/ french press right here on site. Freshly Roasted Coffee Beans in the a.m and firefly good-nights! Perfect for Bike Trekkers, Road Touring groups and nature seekers, this end of the road private space is 20 acres of gardens and ponds. The two large barns host art workshops and events. Bicycle storage and tools available for use. The welded sculpture is the work of Christine and painted steel work by the late Terry Thomas. The Saugatuck Interurban comes to our doorstep and takes you into Saugatuck and Douglas, load your bike upon the rack and for a buck you're car free. Lake Michigan is a few miles away. Your host is onsite. Headlamps encouraged. Proper footwear, if exploring..there is some poison ivy. Bugs birds and no AC... It's camping, in nature. We host pop up's thru October. Care to inquire about art offerings? Care to host an event? It's possible...Pop up tent campers, schoolies, RV less than 24 ft in length will find a quiet spot for rough camping no frills spot to set up. Generated from real Hipcamper reviews

Art Farm Fennville offers a unique and rustic camping experience with a strong artistic flair. Christine, the host, is generally seen as welcoming and kind, with the farm's creative atmosphere leaving many guests feeling at home. However, one review highlights a negative encounter with Christine, noting issues with cleanliness and safety concerns. The property is often described as peaceful and private, with diverse accommodations and convenient access to local attractions.

Christine's property was a perfect respite for our group of four. The site was private from neighbors / busy roads, but very easy to get into town. Bathrooms, shelter, and grill access were huge perks especially on a semi-rainy weekend. The trails are beautiful and full of surprises. We'd love to come out again.

This was an A+ experience. We stayed in the premade tent which was awesome to sleep on a bed. We did a decoupage art work in the art barn. We really enjoyed exploring the farm sand talking with Christine our host.

    Doesn't recommend

Beautiful land. Christine, however, is a hostile host who met my polite questions about water and quiet hours with accusations, insults, and wild behavior, including lighting a joint and blowing it in my face. The dirty bong in the yurt must have been hers, too. Christine's behavior was truly shocking given that the listing states she loves to host. She was aggressive and hostile from my first question which was simply to ask her if she was the host of the property. Telling me and my girlfriend that we should "watch our backs" made us feel unsafe here. I'm a regular camper, and happy to rough it. But there were some major inaccuracies and omissions in the listing: toilet in barn is not private and is directly next to a shared kitchen space, potable water is from hose or tiny shared bathroom sink next to the toilet, there is no clean cooking/kitchen prep area or clean cooking supplies, and the communal firepit is used as the host's personal entertaining zone and very close to the yurt. It's also not safe to walk around the yurt island without extreme caution due to host's mess of garden tools, knives, saws, glass, drugs, and poison ivy.
