Welcome to our picturesque, 12 acre pop-up campsite nestled in the heart of the Chilterns, join us from 7th August - 3rd September. Whether you’re seeking a quiet moment of solitude or a cosy spot by the fire with family and friends, Fawley Fields has got you covered! We are a family friendly campsite with an abundance of fun activities! You can expect: hammocks, fire pits, sunset wine tasting, outdoor cinema nights, game, art and great coffee! The campsite is set around a central grove of trees where you will find hammocks and a communal fire pit, providing the perfect place to relax and take in the hills around you. There are toilets and showers available, as well as drinking water and a washing up area. In the spirit of camping, there is no electricity or wifi. Fawley Fields Campsite is the place to explore the expansive Chilterns, with plenty of public footpaths leading to historic estates and Thames-side towns. Spend the day wandering around the local area, then return to Fawley to watch the sun set. *Please note we do not allow motorhomes or caravans, only campervans and tents. Nearby attractions: Stonor Park – a historic 13th century country house and private deer park situated in a valley in the Chiltern Hills, accessible by car and foot (3 miles) Warburg Nature Reserve – Reserve with 15 orchid species, visitor centre, bird hides, picnic area and wildlife explorer packs (4.2 mile by car) Cobstone Windmill – A smock mill in an idyllic location used in the filming of the iconic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Midsummer Murders and Vicar of Dibley, to name a few. (4.3 miles by car) Henley-on-Thames - The town was first described in the 12th century and is still today considered one of the most beautiful English market towns with many interesting buildings. Its historic St Mary’s Church, the Town Hall, the market square, many local shops, plus its own theatre/cinema, mean Henley is a delightful place for mooching about. (3.8 miles by car) Oaken Grove Vineyard – a family-run, boutique vineyard surrounded by ancient woodlands which offers a range of award-winning English still and sparkling wines and an evocative setting for a range of public, private and corporate events. The vineyard was established in 1986 and has seven acres of Pinot Noir, Bacchus and Madeleine Angevine vines which produce exceptional quality wines that are fresh, modern and packed with flavour.
