Good things await for those who grab a berth at Weston Caravan and Campsite, in the Oxfordshire village of Weston-on-the-Green. For starters, space seekers should be pleased to see that there’s plenty of breathing room around this former dairy farm – excellent news for kids or dogs that need a bit of haring-about time after being cooped up in the car. Depending on where you’ve plonked down you may find that your nearest neighbours are the resident beef cattle, sheep or horses; it’s worth keeping your eyes open for sightings of the hedgehogs that often scuttle about the place too. Perhaps most crucially for those whose stomachs dictate a site’s success is the presence of a café that serves up a tempting range of freshly cooked goodies: breakfasts (no rush – they’re served all day), salads, cakes and coffees, plus cheeses, pies and the like to take away. And the crème de la crème – literally: homemade ice cream in up to 16 (yes, a lipsmacking 16) different flavours. The village is just a few minutes’ drive from the A34 and Junction 9 of the M40, making it both a useful stopover on cross-country voyages and a handy spot for Oxfordshire breaks (perhaps taking in Oxford, Blenheim Palace or bagging bargains in Bicester).

There is a footpath running alongside it taking you 25 minutes to a village shop one way and 20 minutes to a good pub the other way, all across fields. There are some amazing walks to do from the site, and being on the edge of the cotswolds there are plenty of pretty villages and market towns to explore. There are also some well regarded cycling routes in the area.

Weekend Trip to Little Fleece at Folly Farm
I had such a lovely weekend at Little Fleece despite the wind! Jane was very welcoming and thought of lots of lovely little touches such as fresh bread and biscuits. Lovely quiet area to switch off and relax next to lots of greenery and some gorgeous little lambs! Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Had an absolutely wonderful time at the pods. Its supplied with everything you need so no need to pack anything!! Other than food. We are a barbecue lover and these pods already was packed with everything you need so was brilliant. Everyone was supper friendly as we were approached by Izzie and tom on arrival with a smile. The place is beautiful and has amazing views, very quiet and private. It’s very safe as the place has sensors so they are aware of who leaves and enters. Will absolutely visit again in the future!!

Weekend Trip to Little Fleece at Folly Farm
Lovely cosy little place! The hosts were as accommodating as possible with homemade bread and shortbread biscuits on arrival which were lovely! Everything was explained fully to us when we arrived from how to work things, where things were, to how to get the wood fired hot tub going. A great overnight stay for me and my girlfriend. Was even treated to having a one day old lamb as a neighbour overnight. As perfect as possible! We'd absolutely stay there again, would recommend 10/10!

Everything you need at Wolford woods but still feels like you're out in the wild. Marcus and Petra were very welcoming hosts. It was great to have a supply of wood for a fire and hot water for showers. Wheelbarrows to transport your stuff from your car - they have thought of everything!

Weekend Trip to Bredon-Vale Caravan and Camping
Nice little rural site but not far from Evesham and Broadway - great amenities, eco friendly, honesty box shop etc. Had the log pod which was heated and cosy with little extra touches for valentines night. Firepit and bbq and outdoor bench and chairs provided . Overall a lovely stay.

Weekend Trip to Bredon-Vale Caravan and Camping
Great location within easy drive of some fantastic sites around Evesham. Despite the weather, we managed a steak barbecue dinner, a log fire and a nice breakfast. Caravan was comfortable and all was in place to make cooking and chilling easy. My first time caravanning and definitely, would do it again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jane’s shepherd’s hut. it was the perfect off-grid escape from our busy lives. The hot tub and outdoor pizza oven were definite highlights and made the trip feel extra special.
Jane and her husband were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and quick to respond whenever we had a question or needed anything. The hut is also ideally located; peaceful and secluded, yet close enough for lovely walks/run and a nearby pub for a quick pint.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside getaway.

We stayed at Nancy's (70s’ caravan). The interior was the cosiest I could ever ask for. Minimalist but essential amenities made our stay enjoyable.
The camping site offers good views, especially for watching a splendid sunset if the weather is right. Campsite facilities are well-maintained and spotless.
Its location is very close to Evesham, making it easy to find shops, pubs, and access roads to other nearby destinations.
Don't miss paying Shakespeare a visit if you haven't done so yet 😉

Weekend Trip to Little Fleece at Folly Farm
This is the ultimate weekend getaway. Jane and the family are fabulous hosts. Everything was so incredibly clean, and there was so many personal touches from fresh bread to handmade soaps. The view of the property from the cabin was truly spectacular.

I had a lovely stay, Despite visiting in October, the Shepard’s hut kept me nice and warm. The hut was as pictured and described. There were lots of lovely nearby walks. The Shepard’s hut was very accommodating for the dogs too who enjoyed their stay and use of the field. Thank you.

Amazing experience pitch was perfect, leveled and had a fire pit. Toilets and showers were clean and fully functioning. Everything needed was available in their shop . Logs kindling and bbq setup was available at a minimal cost
Management was very friendly and helpful will be coming back for sure. Highly recommended
