Bottle Tree Farm is 10 acres situated on top of a slightly sloping hill which overlooks the surrounding hills, farming crops and Boat Mountain. We have a very old big bottle tree in the middle of our farm, which is one of the biggest in QLD. The sunsets are absolutely amazing here, so golden. The rural roads are lovely for an early or late evening walk on. We rent out a fully contained studio as well which is seperate and inside the farm fencing only for booked guests. Pets welcome for a small fee. You will be sharing the paddock with three beautiful friendly horses, roaming at their own pace. In the paddock there is also a little renovated shed turned into a cute outhouse called the Heart Shed. Which is just being finished, soon to be able to be booked. The farm is within a 7 min drive of two IGAs. Plus very close to all the wineries (10 km approx) and it’s delicious food! It’s also the same distance to nearby Bjelke Peterson Dam for water skiing and water sports. Wondai has some gorgeous shops including a wellness shop with a magnesium float tank, antique shops, and the likes. There is a dairy museum in Murgon. A dinosaur and fossil museum called 55 Million Year Old Museum in Murgon too. Also a visit to the Ration Shed Museum in the Indigenous and alcohol free community of Cherbourg is very educational and really worth a visit and only 10 mins away. It has beautiful indigenous pottery and art too. Boat Mountain is nearby and has spectacular views and is a beautiful walk with lots of Koalas. The area I believe, is a hidden secret and has a sacred feel. Come and experience it for yourself.

Anduramba Bush Camping is located on a 300 acre property approximately 15 minutes south of Blackbutt, Qld. The campsite is on top of a hill with great views. There’s a small cabin on site, you can book the campsite either with or without this. The cabin is quite basic, it has 12v lighting with a USB port suitable for charging phones etc, and a bunk bed with mattresses (double bottom, single top), but you'll need to bring your own bedding. Property features - - Dogs welcome (just don't let them wander off) - Portaloo (flushing) - Shower hut (uses shower bags) - Non drinkable water available for washing etc, BYO drinking water - Firewood available to collect - Table tennis table free to use - Covered concrete area underneath a shed awning which you can use - Good phone reception at the campsite - Accessible by 4WD or 2WD via Blackbutt, Esk or Crow's Nest, however after extreme rain events this can sometimes change due to flooding or damage to the road. Please note the roads are gravel with erosion mounds, dips and some rough sections, so you need a bit of ground clearance. Please remove all rubbish when you vacate and please shut the gate on your departure.

The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful so many gorgeous birds and the view of the stars is divine. We stayed in the converted shed which was fantastic (and super clean and tidy!) however great amenities available for campers too! The lovely caretakers Tony and Carole was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This property would be ideal for a celebration due to the huge shed and stage setup - very cool!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Anduramba ! Dave was incredibly friendly and popped in to say hello! We had people take both the crows nest track and blackbutt track in 2WD and made it successfully ! Upon arrival the surrounding mountains were crowded in a veil of mist, and over the next hour the clouds dissipated to reveal the most incredible 360 views, sunset on the second day was incredibly special! The campsite and amenities were clean and well kept, and the site was very easy to find using Google maps :) Couldn’t recommend this site enough glad to have had the opportunity to stay :)

The animals were the absolute highlight of the trip, waking up to cattle and horses surrounding camp was just a treat! Incredibly pet friendly for our quiet, non problematic, WELL TRAINED border collie. Certainly would not take any dog who was not tried, tested and perfect with all other animals. Foggy mornings and beautiful golden sunsets out here really does recharge your soul. We throughly enjoyed the company and making new friends on this trip as well as meeting all of the friendly animals. Already planning our next trip back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host family were amazing. They should the kids how to milk a cow and were even given the opportunity to try. They enjoyed seeing the pigs, goats and were even lucky anoth to see them breaking in a horse. The cows and horses were roaming around the campsite which allowed us to take some amazing photos. We even came back home with an unexpected new addition. A kelpie puppy named Taz. We look forward to going back out and staying again.
