Dear All, we look forward to having you camp with us in 2019, starting from April 25th! Please read through the entire listing to find out more about these sites and our camp. Can't wait to hear from you and to be part of your adventures in the Sierra :-)
We're a husband and wife team and this is our adopted home - a small RV Park & Campground located directly on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive, we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.
Our Mountain Views RV Camping sites have full hookups (30 amp electricity, septic, water) and free WIFI and can accommodate RVs up to 30 feet (Class C or B motorhomes, camper vans, Cruise America and similar Rentals) or trailers up to 25 feet. These gravel spots have mountain and/or lake views. Additionally, they come with the access to clean bathrooms stocked with supplies available to our campers.
I M P O R T A N T : Please let us know the TYPE & LENGTH of your RV when requesting this site or share the link to the rental site listing if you're not sure. Thank you! Since it's gravel, we DON'T allow pitching tents on the RV sites. If you hope to tent camp with us, please check out and request one of our tent sites.
It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting an RV site as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lay in one of our hammocks and read for three days. For the more adventurous, we offer a full slate of self-guided recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.
We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guest to “unplug” and immerse in the slow pace life instead. If you come to stay with us at the weekend, you'll be welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays, s'mores are on us!)
Did we mention that we love dogs? Be sure to bring you four legged friend when staying with us. With dog wash and off leash dog beach, your adventure pup will be a happy camper here!
We hope Paradise Shores becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here.
Please note, we ask for 2 nights minimum stay throughout the season and 3 nights minimum stay over Memorial and Labor Day weekends ($52/night rate on Memorial Day weekend - Fri-Sun for 25-30ft RVs). We relax minimum stay requirements at short notice, please ask. Please email us if you're interested in a weekly+ stay - we'll be able to offer a discount, based on your RV length & type.

Beautiful location on the other side of Yosemite National Park - quiet and relaxed. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. There was quite a cold breeze coming off the lake and mountains when we were there but it didn't spoil our stay at all. Was so peaceful waking up surrounded by mountains in the morning. Would definitely stay again. Plenty to do in the local area when we got there too! Thanks guys!
Mountain Views RV Camping was everything we were hoping for. Beautiful setting on the lakeshore, wonderful hosts and great amenities. We were close to Yosemite and numerous other activities. As long as you bring adequate supplies, you'll be set. There is a community campfire, so if you prefer your own, you do need to bring a fire ring. But it was nice to talk to the other travelers while we were there. And the view of the night sky was unlike any I've ever seen. Highly recommend!
We arrived fairly late (9:00 pm), and was still greeted by Alen. He was a very gracious host and have us info on how to best explore Yosemite the next day. I would definitely recommend approaching Yosemite from the east. Tioga pass and the road to the valley floor (highway 120) were completely spectacular. It takes about 2 1/2 hours but is worth it.
Alen and the family have a very welcoming and comfortable environment that they have created for their guests. Thank you.

The owners made us feel very welcome. There is a relaxed atmosphere at the campground, with campfires in the evenings. The view over the lake and the mountains in the background is magnificent. A perfect base to go and explore the area, because there is a lott to see and do.
The campers and RVs are amazing but I really think the tent sites are where it's at. You're right next to the lake, and have the water and mountains right outside your tent or camper. Best spot in the house!
Loved it here! We were able to kayak for free and enjoyed the beach. While we were here, we checked out the Buckeye Hot Springs and it was worth the drive. If you're planning on visiting Yosemite, I recommend staying here because it's not too far.
Fantastic vibe in this lovely little place. Very quiet and friendly. Loved the set up with free use of kayaks and the pedallo for us and the children. The showers and toilets are spotlessly clean. We ended up just chilling for the day by the lake and around our camper van but there are lots of other lakes to visit in the area. We'd stay again!
