About Lakeshore RV Camping
Dear All, we are now ready to take your bookings for anytime between April 26th and mid-October! Please read through the listing to find out more about this site and our camp. We look forward to hearing from you and hope to be part of your adventures in the Sierra :-)
We're a husband and wife team and this is our adopted home - a small RV Park & Campground located directly on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive, we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.
Our Lakeshore RV camping spot is located on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir and offers great views of the lake and the Sawtooth Mountain Range. This site is perfect for a camper van or small class B and C motorhome up to 20 feet without a tow car as well as a tent (or two). Alternatively, it could also accommodate up to 12 feet trailer with small truck/car. We can accommodate the second vehicle for an additional fee ($6); please let us know if you need the extra parking space prior to requesting the site, so we can adjust the listing's rate for you. This spot is dry camping only (NO hookups). The site comes with picnic table, free WIFI and the access to clean bathrooms stocked with supplies available to our campers. The site offers a welcome shade of the neighboring pine tree and is located next to Lakeshore Tent Camping spots.
It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a camping site as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lay in one of our hammocks and read for three days. For the more adventurous, we offer a full slate of self-guided recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.
We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guest to “unplug” and immerse in the slow pace life instead. If you come to stay with us at the weekend, you'll be welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays, s'mores are on us!)
Did we mention that we love dogs? Be sure to bring you four legged friend when staying with us. With dog wash and off-leash dog beach, your adventure pup will be a happy camper here!
We hope Paradise Shores becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here.
Please note, we ask for 2 nights minimum stay during our busy season and 3 nights minimum stay over Memorial and Labor Day weekends. Occasionally, we relax minimum stay requirements based on availability or at short notice, please inquire.
We require 4 nights minimum between June 30th - July 4th (that includes the night of July 4th). We won't be able to accommodate arrivals or departures on 7/3 & 7/4. However, both days can be included in longer stays, subject to availability on the surrounding dates.

The vibe at Lakeshore RV Camping
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
I really enjoyed my stay at Paradise Shores, at campsite 1. It has a very comfy, homey feel, and everyone is extremely friendly -- guests and hosts. Just about everyone had dogs, as they are very welcome here. The grounds are beautifully kept and have everything you could want, including showers and wifi! My site was right on the water and I enjoyed listening to the waves lapping the shore, the sun and moon setting over the water, the snowcapped peaks, and the sky full of stars. The location is close to stunning attractions in every direction.
Really well managed and beautifully decorated campground with wonderful amenities and accommodations. The three tent campsites are right along the Bridgeport Reservoir with spectacular views and the drive to the town is less than 5 minutes away. I absolutely loved it here and would come back again!
