As one of the most popular parks in South Carolina, Hunting Island State Park lives up to all the hype. Large sites overlook the ocean and are shaded by pines and palms with the ocean just a short boardwalk away. With miles of shoreline, a historic lighthouse, and a maritime forest, you have yourself the perfect potion for a stellar week(end).

This campground is currently closed following Hurricane Matthew, but should be opened in June 2017 in limited capacity.

Pack bug spray and sunscreen. Camping grounds were damaged from hurricane last year, so call and check before planning visit.
