We had a great time at Indigo Zen Garden! We stayed with our two little kids, and the dome + tent setup worked really well for our family. The dome was such a cool and cozy space, especially at night with the lights, and having the additional tent made the whole setup even better for a group. The property felt peaceful and tucked away in nature, while still being easy enough to get to. The kids had a great time, and it was a really nice change of pace for all of us to just relax and spend time together outdoors. Everything about the place had a unique, calming feel to it. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it for families or anyone looking for a fun and relaxing glamping experience!

We loved our stay! The Gorgeous space seems like a labor of love by the hosting couple. So many activities on-site that our kids loved. The perfect glamping experience- unique stargazer dome, air conditioning and real bed made it feel luxe, cooking over the fire and unplugging in nature made it feel like camping. 20 minutes away from a lovely swimming beach on Lake Michigan. Would come back anytime.

This was my third season staying at Indigo Zen Garden in Caledonia, but my first with truly perfect weather. I usually visit later in the season when it’s cooler and wetter. This July brought heat and storms, and I expected to admire the rain from the comfort of the dome, but the weather couldn’t have been more beautiful. The garden comes alive throughout the day. Mornings are cool and shaded, with rabbits, squirrels, and birds greeting the sunrise. I enjoyed coffee and the delicious breakfast Melanie provided in the screened gazebo while listening to nature. The gazebo’s fireplace makes evenings cozy without the mosquitoes, though there’s also a fire pit beneath the stars. Afternoons were perfect for reading beneath the canopy on the lounge chairs overlooking the field. Wandering the gardens reveals magical spaces—a grandmother tree with seating, a peaceful pond, and playful chipmunks that make you feel like you’re in a Disney movie. As evening falls, golden light filters through the leaves before the garden glows with soft solar lights. From the dome, the night sky is breathtaking, and falling asleep under the stars is unforgettable. Indigo Zen Garden is more than a beautiful place to stay—it’s a sanctuary where you can slow down, reconnect with nature, and simply be.
