I was so eager to camp at this beautiful oasis. Unfortunately I was not feeling well the day of check in and while I was setting up my camp my body just said I needed to stop. The hosts were so very kind and understanding. I will certainly be back as the property is so beautiful and the hosts were very kind.

We had a great stay on Paul’s land. We arrived later and Paul was very helpful and welcoming in showing us his land and what we could utilize while we stayed there! He had great recommendations and the property has a lot to offer, especially for the price point. We noticed on the reviews talking about the toilet/bathroom but we had no issues. Overall, we had such an amazing stay!

Amazing! Quiet! Reserved! The morning view was incredible and the amenities (kitchenette, sitting room) were amazing, especially since we came early in the season when the rain made it difficult to do much! Paul was incredibly accommodating and the site was perfect. Make sure to read the instructions on everything just in case!

Loved camping here! It was such a lovely setting, peaceful and quiet. Paul and his wife were so welcoming and I loved the camp kitchen and bath house. They also provided water at the campsite which was so helpful! Everything was well maintained. Highly recommend this spot.

Very pleasant spot! Great base camp for Olympics day hikes and Lake Quinault. Camp spots are fairly private. Nice tent platforms too.

My husband and I started our little road trip at this site and it was super cool! Their property was set up pretty spacious between sites and the field of trees and their garden setup was super cool. We appreciated the outhouse setup as well. Would totally come back next year!

Beautiful setting to camp in! Be prepared for rain as it is in/near a rainforest. :) Paul took us on a tour of the property and offered suggestions of things to do in the various climates. My son enjoyed the drive he suggested so much that we did it 2x! The produce box was delicious and beautiful! Eco-friendly toilet is available, but preferred to use my silicone female urinal instead. No cell service, but WiFi available.

We really felt comfortable and happy on Paul’s land. The space is set up to be easy to share while also very private. It offers a balance of feeling alone under the stars and cheery interactions with other campers.
Not for nothing, but that’s also the nicest lattice I’ve ever seen.
The proximity to Lake Quinault and the Col. Bob trail is a real plus, too!

The site didn’t work for my family but Paul was very generous in refunding our stay. We have a very large tent and wanted more space/privacy for two little kids.

Amazing place- plenty of room, no dogs (which we liked- quiet), enthusiasm and heart from Paul and Carol, beautiful location, composting toilet, and a place to wash dishes. This is a very welcoming place and we would imagine, would be great any time of year. Highly recommended.

Beautiful setting with perfectly maintained yard, cute garden, overall relaxing atmosphere and sites positioned for semi privacy. The kitchen space was inviting but we didn't need to use it. We use a thin sleeping pad therefore the gravel tent pads did not do our bodies well but we'll be coming back for future adventures. Host made us feel welcomed and honored privacy during our stay.

Beautifully situated beneath the Olympic foothills; quiet, isolated sites; hospitable hosts, very accommodating and friendly. Close to all nature walks in Quinault area; showers and laundry available in town.

This is a beautiful and peaceful campground. We really enjoyed almost everything about staying here. The toilet situation was rough. I can deal with porta potties or regular old campground pit toilets…but this is worse than that. The smell was pretty unbearable. Other than that, the campground was great.

Our site was easy to access and charming (featuring a big ol' sitka spruce), firewood was provided for a fee (and it was good firewood!), we had a great fire in the fire ring and sat on the benches eating our meal. Our site had wooden benches around the fire ring *and* a picnic table, plus we were very helpfully allowed to use the communal kitchen building to do dishes and let things dry. The host Paul was wonderful, and he even gave us a tour of his awesome off-grid garden and outbuildings — including an appearance by Romeo, the world's best cat.

It's a gorgeous campsite, with views of huge Sitka Spruce and the native plants of the Quinault rainforest region. There are lots of special attributes - I will definately tell my friends and come out again!

This area was beautiful and welcoming. Well kept, grassy grounds tucked into the woods and around their cozy homestead.
Hammocks hang in the little aspen grove. A lovely kitchen with sink and running water along with a counter that seats four and a little futon was a nice respite. While the neat and tidy bathroom with composting toileting system and running tap water was a welcome sight.
We ordered farm fresh eggs along with fruits and vegetables for when we arrived. It made for a lovely snack for the afternoon in the shade with f the aspens and a tasty breakfast.

Hosts were very kind and welcoming! I made an amazing omelette with the fresh eggs and veggies, and had fresh berries for dessert. Hung out in the hammock and caught up on emails via Starlink. Convenient location near Quinault Rainforest, which I enjoyed hiking way more than Hoh! My only regret is booking only one night. Would love to stay again the next time I visit.

Paul and his partner were very friendly, and they have a lovely piece of property. Paul shared some of his fruit, explained how everything worked, and left water at our camp spot for us to use. We thoroughly enjoyed our camping, and the rest of the camping options seemed awesome. It was a really unique and eclectic place. We will absolutely return next time we are in the area.

This is a really sweet, well-maintained spot if you're looking for a single night and just passing through. They have done a nice job of creating a separate camping space and have also created a nice little common area with hammocks. The host is also very welcoming. However, it was extremely buggy. If I had been there alone I would have left early because the mosquitos and biting flies were so intolerable even with a dozen citronella candles and a ton of bug spray. The composting toilet works great for adults, but it's too much for kids. I would not recommend staying here with small children. It was kind of stressful constantly checking to make sure they were using it correctly (they weren't).
