Tanglebloom is honestly spectacular. While we were there I looked to see if there were any days open for a return trip this summer and wasn’t surprised at all to see that this spot is fully fully booked. Melissa and Mike have thought of EVERYTHING! From the detailed packing list sent out a little bit before our stay to the basket of handwarmers under the bedside table and the umbrella in the kitchen — it was as if I thought “oh, this would be nice to have” and then looked up and it was right there.

We perused Melissa & Mikes’ binder of recommendations and went to the Dam Diner, Brattleboro Food Co-op, The Works, and Whetstone Brewery. We also enjoyed hikes on Haystack Mountain and in the Windmill Ridge Nature Reserve.

It rained the entire time but we stayed very dry in the cabin and warmed up after our chilly hikes (classic MDW in Vermont) by taking hot showers in the “outdoor” shower (better water pressure than any shower I’ve ever had in any apartment I’ve ever lived in…) and making tea in the enclosed kitchen area. The kitchen had everything we needed — pots and pans, salt and pepper, olive oil, a fridge to store our perishables AND an outlet. And the little vases of gorgeous Tanglebloom flowers on every table were absolutely delightful. Also the outhouse was spotless and super easy to use.

The cabin looks out onto a clearing with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and hearing the birds first thing in the morning was absolutely dreamy. This was such a lovely and restful weekend. Thanks for having us!!

Last week , I was here with my wife here and We really enjoyed the stay.

Directions provided by Melissa was very accurate that We did not find any difficulty in finding the Spot. You can even search for "TANGLE BLOOM CABIN" in Google , which will take right there. Communication was good enough that we were well informed about the place , weather and expectation was very rightly set before our arrival itself. As mentioned , this place is very good even if you are on an impromptu travel.

We liked many things about the place. The way Melissa had put lot of thoughts to make sure you have a unique experience , which is very much appreciated. I would probably quote them as "SUPER HOST" :) We have lot of favorite spots at this site. We enjoyed the colorful magical mountain view , Listening to music composed by Tree's and a peaceful environment to connect with Nature and spend quality time with your loved ones.

We still felt the time we spent at the spot was less ,as we had a long travel ahead.
But In our Next visit , we will be spending the whole time at this location itself :) :)

Thank you !

This was by far my favorite place I have ever visited that I wish I could have stayed forever. The entire experience of being surrounded by a flower farm to the open air cabin in the wilderness to the neighboring hiking trails were everything I could have asked for in a weekend getaway. It was very enchanting and magical. The detailed instructions and communication with Melissa were perfect. I would definitely come here again!

You can see how much love and work has gone into making this such a beautiful and peaceful spot. I especially loved the hammock and crawling into the cozy bed in the evening. Being able to pick some of the fresh garden veggies was also such a treat. I didn’t know anything about the region before booking but it is the cutest most beautiful area. Lots of great hikes, beautiful homes to look at as you drive and lots of delicious produce and local goods.

What a unique experience! Melissa was such a gracious host. The site was so well kept, the cabin beautiful, and the views of the mountains were an unexpected plus. My husband and I didn't want to leave!

My partner and I had an incredibly chill and beautiful time staying in the cabin near Tanglebloom Flower Farm. The cabin is immaculate with very smooth wooden floors and the double bed and bedding are very comfortable. I’ve never had such a relaxing experience while being so immersed in nature. Melissa is very good at the small details on both a practical and decorative level - to the water cooler out near the cabin to make sure we always have fresh water to the beautiful bouquet of flowers in the compost bathroom. Couldn’t recommend more!

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with all the amenities of home comfort, this is your place!
Melissa, Mike & Jonas their Son, welcomed us in to their environment and made sure that you don’t need to bring a thing.
From cooking materials to towels, even to those little items which you never want to end up buying just for a small trip.
The cabin itself is tucked away on a hill overlooking a beautiful tree lined valley with a view of the stunning sunset through the evening.
We wanted an experience of being in the woods and amongst the wildlife to get away from city life, and this is exactly what we got. Whether that’s chilling in the hammock reading, trail hiking or floating in the cool river on a hot summers day, this ticked all the boxes.

This place is amazing. Great vibe and seclusion. Melissa was a great host and provided everything we needed. The composting outhouse was sparkling clean as was the cabin. We saw a few Cooper's hawks and a few newts. Listen for the howling of the sled dogs in the distance. You'll hear them at night and right around sunrise :)
We had 1 night of rain and we stayed dry. We loved listening to the rain against the roof. This is my 3rd open air cabin I've stayed in and this was by far my favorite. Cell reception is spotty at the cabin. I have Verizon and I was able to get 4G on the porch but reception comes and goes.
