Cabin is located 6 miles from I 75 Tennessee exit 49 about midway between Knoxville and Chattanooga. The cabin sleeps four. Bedding is provided for one double bed, one single bed, and a cot.
Kitchen includes stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and basic cookware and utensils. Coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper are stocked.
We have plenty of room to park a trailer or turn around a boat you travel with. Several access sites on the Tennessee and Hiwassee Rivers are nearby. This loft perfectly met our needs for a quick, comfortable stopover mid road trip! The appliances all seemed new, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and our fur babies had plenty of space to move around. The host seemed experienced and thoughtful with little touches around the loft (ice in the freezer, shampoo in the shower, hot chocolate and mugs ready for a nice treat, tv on a swivel arm so you can watch from the bed, gate on the patio to keep your dog contained etc) and clear instructions for where to find everything and what to expect. The craftsmanship around the loft was also impressive (well built doors, countertops etc). We would definitely stay here again!

I loved my experience at the little barn house! The cabin itself was very cute, and the atmosphere was peaceful for a solo trip to escape city life. Jon was fabulous and incredibly helpful when I was needing some support. It was fun to have some animals nearby too, though hunting season is real, so something to keep in mind. Overall I am super grateful for my experience and would recommend it for anyone looking for a little getaway.

We had a great time at Hawk's Nest. It was so peaceful and private. We packed a lot of our camping gear, just in case, but barely need to take anything out of the car. Our dogs loved running around and exploring. The bedroom was comfortable and we stayed warm even though the nights were chilly. The location is perfect for hiking. We were able to make it to both Burgess Falls and Rock Island. We hope to make it back and stay longer next time.

We had such a great experience camping at Valhalla! Jodie was an awesome host—she responded quickly to all my questions and made everything super easy. The campsite itself was beautiful and spacious, perfect for our big group of friends. There was plenty of firewood to keep the fire going all night, a grill to use, and even a bathroom with running water, which was a huge bonus. Everyone had a fantastic time and we’d definitely love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Hawk's Nest. Dan and Jo were super to visit with and very accomodating. It was a pleasure to be on their beautiful farm and feel so warmly welcomed. The wild life around the property is amazing. We saw possums, a marching procession of armadillos, the friendly dog Martin, racoons, and heard so many owls at night. I recommend it for a camp get away that will get you super close to Cane Hollow Rec area where you can access the lake and kayak up to the base of Burgess Falls.
