I'm located between Wisconsin Dells and Lyndon Station on a cozy little 3-acre corner lot at the intersection of Highway 12 and Oak Glen Circle. The property is mostly wooded with beautiful white oak trees that I've done my best to preserve. Each year, I welcome nesting bluebirds, robins, and ruby-throated hummingbirds as well as many others. You'll also find several bird feeders that attract a wide variety of songbirds, along with squirrels, rabbits, and woodchucks that call the property home. Please note: I do have neighboring homes nearby, but it's a very quiet neighborhood of homeowners with no noisy renters. Please also note that as the host, I do live on property. I offer you your privacy but on occasion you may see me outside doing random chores on property. Please also note, I have 2 dogs. They are very friendly animals and it's very possible at some point during your stay, they may introduce themselves to you. Thankyou for understanding. Nearby Attractions Wisconsin Dells – Just 3 miles away, offering endless attractions, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. River Bay – Only 2 miles away, with Wisconsin River access and a public boat launch. Bring your boat and experience one of the best stretches of the Wisconsin River. The fishing is excellent, too. Dells Motor Speedway – Just 1 mile away. Races are held every Saturday night, and the speedway has a long history of racing tradition. It's always an exciting experience, and I've been attending since I was a kid. Chubby's Exotic Resort – Located just 1 mile away. Everyone is welcome. Chubby's is a premier club offering one of the best experiences of its kind in the state. The Edge – Located directly across the street from Chubby's, The Edge is family-friendly and features live music on weekends, along with a full food menu. Please contact them directly for more information. There's no shortage of things to do in the area. Wisconsin Dells offers a tremendous variety of attractions, restaurants, and outdoor recreation. I'm new to Hipcamp and am always looking for ways to improve the camping experience for my guests. Est. 1966, the West Fork Sports Club has been a special place for multiple generations of both local community members and people from across the country. Nestled in between two valleys with 3,500 feet of stream front property on the West Fork of the Kickapoo, we truly have one of the most unique campgrounds you'll ever visit. Having avoided glacial drift during the last ice age, the Driftless area boast beautiful valleys, bluffs and rolling hills that you won't find anywhere well in Wisconsin. We are an Environmental Conservation Club always accepting new members. A temporary membership is included in camping fees and goes toward environmental conservation work and maintaining grounds, free wifi, etc. Our 20 acre property boast 3,500 feet of stream-front class 1 trout fishing on the West Fork of the Kickapoo (a top 100 trout stream in the US). Our entire stretch of stream is fully improved and excellent to fish. We have a healthy native brown trout population. We work with a local school science program to raise and stock brook trout every year. We have resident Sandhill Cranes, Bald Eagles, Oriels, Willow Fly Catchers, Hummingbirds and many other avian species. Nestled between two valleys, we frequently have stunning sunsets. We are far enough way from light pollution to easily see the Milky Way Galaxy on a clear night. The star gazing is amazing and if you keep your eyes up at night, you're pretty much guaranteed to see a shooting star, if not multiple. The West Fork Sport Club is truly a special campground. We're a short 15 minute drive from Viroqua which has a lot of great local shops, the Driftless Café (Owned and operated by Wisconsin Foodie host Luke Zahm) and a fantastic farmer's market. We're 25 minutes from Wild Cat Mountain which has extensive hiking trails. There are also two great vineyards within 15 minutes. Even on a rainy day, you will have plenty of fun options. ***Electric sites and cabins are not reservable through Hipcamp. Please visit our website for more information.

You can share your morning coffee with our calves and turkey chicks, We have several miles of groomed paths on our land for hiking. Deer, turkeys, song birds, foxes all can be seen on the property. There is a gas grill, campfire ring, and large overhang with picnic tables . We also have hookup for electric and water for campers. This is an easy pull-through camper hookup on each end of the barn. Sparta and Viroqua are a half hour drive for dining, movies, music festivals and farmers markets, We are beautiful 45 min drive from Lacrosse.

The original log cabin is still part of the farmstead that originated back in the 1880's. The site was a family farm until around the 1940s. Also, the land was the Eastern banks of a large logging mill lake/pond 150 yrs ago, so the shoreline slopes do not allow campers in/out of the pasture areas. A popup would be feasible with a full size 4 wheel drive utility vehicle in river bottom/shorelines. Tents /Low impact camping are best. In 2019 a transition to Animal Therapy, Fishing Therapy, and Pastured pigs from New Zealand which originally were almost extinct because of their friendly nosey nature at times gets them into trouble. They graze on open pasture most of the year and rest in the sun next to a trout stream. Learn more about this land: We are a working farm with mostly rescued farm animals. Many of the animals have special needs here and live their lives as free-range animals. The river in the back is home to wonderful Brown Trout and smallmouth bass. Also at times, there will be a couple dogs being trained and worked with too. You select your location for your primitive camping experience. If any special needs for a person arise, such as cane, charcoal grill, camp lantern We keep a small shed with supplies even items like tarps, cots, sleeping bags, even fishing rods. The owner is a highly achieved angler that has been filmed for the "Discover Wisconsin" Television TV show. and is available for guided fishing adventures and education in the area for all species. Also, certain times of the year are excellent for wild plants and mushroom foraging. Note this is the Driftless area of Wisc. where no glaciers came through. We have bluffs and streams around every curve of the road. The Wisc. Rivers very close too and has great fishing as well. The neighbor of this farm also rents and performs livery service for kayaks, canoes on the Pine River. Many times of the year, fresh meats are sold right at the farm as well as homemade fishing lures ready for fishing adventures. Note: Many times I am at the river fishing or in the pasture planting and reforesting this former GMO corn farm after years of heavy spraying. With Maples, Willows, apple, pear, plum, oak while trying to manage the evasive plants too. Please understand rainfall, safety of small rivers/waterfront changes. If river front takes on water, camping is all moved from water edges. We do not allow any camper over 15 feet and you must have vehicle that can get through wet mowed fields if it rains since we are along a river/wet lands, if it were to rain we move vehicles to higher dry ground if they a low to the ground . We have a gentle sloped hillside here so always dry areas to park. Other vehicles park at the top of the pasture, in farm front yard and we transport all gear to the river front. Small low to the ground cars are not wise here as there are 4 rain water trenches in the bottom 10 acres the keep rain water draining to ward the river.

Back in the 1800s the land conditions were ideal for a raspberry farm. The original settler's barn and farmhouse were still standing in 1960 when our family obtained the land. Since then, old buildings have diminished back to Earth. What used to be a small creek is now a small pond and trout stream. We have a cabin, outhouse, outdoor shower and other camping accommodations depending on the camping experience you are looking for! Reconnect with nature, find your tranquility, enjoy the wildlife, be amazed by the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There's swimming, or just relaxing here!

I had such a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful with so many gorgeous sunsets! It is such a peaceful and relaxing place. Christine gives you privacy but is only a text away if you need her. Christine went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. There were fresh flowers and treats waiting for me when I arrived, including some of my favorite candy bars, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. She was incredibly kind and full of great recommendations for things to see and do in the area. She would even periodically send me messages about local events and activities happening during my stay, which was so helpful and made it easy to discover things I might not have found on my own. You can tell how much care she puts into making her guests feel comfortable and making their stay special. I truly appreciated her thoughtfulness and hospitality, and the beautiful sunsets were the icing on the cake. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a memorable, welcoming, and relaxing getaway!

First off, the location is perfect. It's super close to multiple state parks and Wisconsin Dells. The area is cute, private and has a huge fire ring with firewood readily available to use. Steve was really friendly and helpful and super communicative before and during the trip. He helped us figure out everything we needed to know and his dogs are super friendly and sweet. The camper itself was cozy and comfortable. Really great price for the location and everything included. Would stay again!

Two beautiful modern new private shower rooms, a very large well stocked camp store with a pool table and basketball hoop game for kids to play plus planned activities make this campground one you will want to stay at more than one night.

The Camp-Inn was a nice, quiet place to spend the night. Campfire smoke is usually our main concern, but with only two spots, this is a good place for us. The bathroom was clean, and only a short distance away. We like these kinds of places! It's just like a spot at a state park. We enjoyed the birds in the morning with breakfast.

Our group had a wonderful time at Flutterby. The arrival instructions were very clear and the site is beautiful and feels very secluded. We really enjoyed the gelato too! In late September, there were little to no bugs (except non-biting flies in the afternoon hours).

5 nights at Elysian View Farms

Christine makes a wonderful place to stay. I felt safe, comfortable, and at peace. She was available when I had questions about the area or just wanted to chat. The animals are gorgeous, and so is the landscape. Being nested within the Amish community was such a special experience for us. Free showers are easy to find nearby, the outdoor bathroom is nearby and lights up at night, the bed was comfortable, there are fans and a space heater for whatever you need, and there is plenty of equipment to feed yourself. I appreciated the s'mores kit, the bouquet from her garden, and the literature in the basket that tells all about the area and the lovely things to explore. Don't hesitate, this is a great place to stay.

Weekend Trip to Echo Valley Farm

My husband and I stayed in the Rustic Spring Cabin for two nights & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and cozy. We loved drinking our coffee on the front porch. We spent the majority of our time exploring Amish shops and nearby small towns. Ontario is a nice small town. There is a lot to do in this area and we are hoping to return in the near future with our kids in tow. The goods we preordered from the Bakery were delicious and Dena and Lauren were very warm and welcoming.
