You may even see one or two of mine in the sky. The theme of Coyote Creek Farm is tranquility. It is camping without someone crowding into your space. It is freedom from the hectic pace of the city. There is a well maintained Compost Toilet on the property as well! Each individual campsite has a portable potty bucket provided.  Nearly any spot you are on has an amazingly delightful view. You can see the sun rise over the trees or the sun set behind a gently sloping hill. You will have access to all of the 30 acres. There are paths to walk, a stocked tank to fish in, (bass, catfish and blue gill),  and oak and pecan trees to sit under and view the clouds as they drift overhead. The noises you hear will be cattle calling to their little ones, birds singing, and in the evenings, coyotes howling.

Our property is meant to be calming, fun and relaxing. Camping with class is what we like to say. We are constantly upgrading our areas and property to be safe and entertaining. Our pond is charming and the focal point of the camping adventure. We have a paddle boat and an electric john boat to toodle around in. Want to go fishing? The pond is stocked with bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and perch. There is also a small island we call “Angel Island” that you can fish from or just sit on the deck with your favorite beverage and enjoy the view. There is a riding/walking trail that is approximately 0.7 miles in distance and basically encompasses the perimeter of the back area. Walking is common, bikes are welcome and small 4 wheelers are also welcome. No side by sides please. You won’t be over crowded here as we currently only have 7 total camping sites. However, we do have enough property to accommodate large parties, reunions or any other type of get-togethers. Come see us and enjoy time away from the fast paced city! You might hear the sounds of the coyotes yipping in the night or perhaps one of the great horned owls calling out from a big oak tree. You may also see some deer, rabbits, squirrels and even armadillos. We are rustic but classy. Time to get away and relax! Fire pits are available in two different areas of the property, and campfires are permitted within these designated spaces. The land is divided through the middle, which allows convenient access for parking. Bikes and ATVs are welcome, but for your safety, please do not enter or attempt to use any areas that seem unsafe. Guests are welcome to collect firewood from fallen branches or trees already on the ground. However, please do not cut, damage, or remove any standing trees. As this is a primitive camping site, there is no electricity or running water available. Please bring your own drinking water and water for personal use. Our compost bathrooms contain a small amount of water for basic showering; however, if the water runs out, guests will need to provide their own. These bathrooms are enclosed on three sides and are located a short distance from the campsites, providing a reasonable level of privacy. There is a pond located toward the back of the property. Swimming is not permitted. Fishing is allowed, but it is strictly catch-and-release. You may drive closer to the pond only when the ground is dry. Please do not attempt to drive there after rain, as the soil becomes very soft and vehicles may become stuck. Trash bins are not provided, so please pack out all trash and belongings when you leave. As this is a large property, we are still working to remove items left behind by previous owners. We do have neighbors nearby, so please be respectful and mindful of noise levels. The property is only partially fenced, and animals may occasionally pass through the area looking for food or shelter. Please remain aware of your surroundings during your stay. A train passes nearby from time to time, so guests who are light sleepers may want to plan ahead. If you plan to bring pets and allow them off leash, please note that we are not responsible for any injuries or incidents. One of our neighbors in particular has a breeding issue and his dogs tend to bark especially at night. Because this is an unrestricted property area, there is limited control over neighboring animals (we have tried to resolve this issue with no results) If you are a light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs or headphones to minimize any noise disturbance during your stay. Beautiful, secluded campsite, just minutes away from Navarro Mills Lake, this is the perfect campsite for hiking, fishing, kayaking, boating, tubing and any activity the lake has to offer. We have amazing wildlife in the area, deer, birds, squirrels, bobcats, raccoons, and hogs. We keep deer feeders on the property, and you could see the deer just before dark. BRING YOUR BOAT!! (One of the best Catfish & Crappie Lakes in Texas) The access to the lake is less than a 1/2 mile down the road, boat ramp. Fishing, swimming, exploring. You can fish the small pond on the property. Explore the property, In the evening if you’re quiet and from a distance you can probably watch the deer come to the feeders. Bring your mountain bikes, ride the county road. Star gazing at night. There are some targets around the place if you like target shooting. You will need your own guns and ammunition. This activity is at your own risk. Neighboring town, Malone is about 8 miles away. It's quite small but does have a convenience store, with ice, drinks, food, and worms for fishing. There is also a small-town bar with music and food. Hubbard is a nice little town about 15 miles away. It features small cafes, antique shopping, gas and a Sonic. The town of West is much larger and about 30 miles away. West features Czech Bakeries, & old town square shopping. Don’t forget mosquito spray, bedding, and drinking water. There is plenty of dead wood for fire, but you may want something to cut it into smaller pieces. Please don’t go too big or crazy with fire. Conditions can be very dry. Keep the wood burning fireplace in the tent to small fires please. Tents can fit 2 adults comfortably; bring your kids and sleep on floor or bring your own tent to set up for them. children are free no extra charge.

Stayed here twice so far and had a really great experience both times! The spot was peaceful, well-kept, and had plenty of space. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking to get away from the noise and just enjoy some quiet time outdoors.

The site was pristine, the views were breathtaking, and Barry the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our stargazing intentions were thwarted by clouds and a bright moon, but Liberty Hill Hideaway is at the top of our list in the future for another little getaway.

Fantastic camping on Todd’s land lots of open area to walk around and explore. There is a great pond to fish and swim in. Comes with a paddle boat and Jon boat. I will say you can hear the near by road most of the night but it didn’t bother us too much. 10/10 would book again.

This spot was exactly what we were looking for. We love to camp and were looking for a perfect camping spot to pitch our tent. This was that spot. Off busy roads; nice, quiet and peaceful. Plus, there was electric which was awesome! Would definitely camp here again if we come out to is way. 10/10 would recommend.

Host Barry has made the property around his home into a pleasant escape. A gently slopped lawn ends in a blue bonnet patch and a wooded area before opening up into lakefront. Four tent sites (w/fire rings and picnic tables) line one side of the lawn. Another tentsite and a private rv are across the lawn. Trailers are on the other side of the house, as is the shower (which is plenty private even though it is open to the outside). The ground floor of the house is a cute and rustic entertainment space with kitchenette, pool table and toilet, which is a clean, in-home-style guest toilet. The crow's nest is an amazing stargazing experience, but only for the sure-footed! Loved our tent with its front and back porch, which extends over a gully and feels a bit like a tree house. Well ventilated with screens on all sides, tall enough to stand up un the center and very comfortable mattresses. This property provides options for the camper who want a comfort upgrade (or rainy day backup) and glampers. It's best for those inclined to be social as the sites aren't isolated. The property was unusually empty during our stay, but I get the feeling socializing and live music around campfires is the norm. A memorable bonus: the neighborhood's free-range dog befriended ours and invited himself to a sleepover. What fun!

This is an amazing place to stay we took our 4 grandkids aged 2 - 10 and they absolutely LOVED it. Camping but without the hassle of having to take everything with you. The location was perfect, the tent was great and the beds were comfy. I would 100% recommend. LOVED IT !!

This campsite was very nice. The sites are very well maintained. There is a nice pond and a perimeter hike and bike trail around the property. The host welcomes you on-site and was very friendly. I would definitely come back.

My stay at Coyote Creek Farm went well. The space was quiet and easy to access. There was a sign signifying the turn in to the property at the beginning of the driveway. Host Regena was great and provided any needed info and help upon arrival. l enjoyed a beautiful sunset and the sounds of the wild turkeys and coyotes in the distance. There was also a fire ring, a picnic table, and trash receptacle at the site.
