The property has 2 ponds and you can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening without moving. Campground Rules & Expectations We want every guest to have a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable stay. To help with that, please observe the following: Alcohol is permitted in moderation for guests 21 and older. We ask that you drink responsibly, respect other campers, and observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. Excessive partying, loud music, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. All containers—especially glass—must be properly disposed of. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property due to fire risk. This includes cigarettes, cigars, vaping, and other forms of open-flame or heat-producing smoking. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. Any use or possession of illegal substances will result in immediate removal from the property and may be reported to law enforcement. Fires are allowed only when permitted by local guidelines and must remain in designated fire rings or pits. Never leave a fire unattended, and fully extinguish it before leaving or going to sleep. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, and please clean up after them. Some areas may be off-limits to animals for safety or environmental reasons. Pack out what you pack in. Leave no trace—take all trash, food scraps, and gear with you when you leave. Stay within the designated camping areas. Do not enter marked private zones, animal pens, or restricted areas. Tucked into a landscape of rolling hills and woodlands, you’ll pass grazing cattle and working cowboys on your drive to the Hulah Lake. Yeehaw! Once you’re here, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy! Experienced and amateur anglers alike can launch a boat on the refreshing waters and cast a line for the many species in the lake: white bass, largemouth bass, crappie, channel catfish, flathead catfish, and bullhead catfish. Hikers can roam through the hills, forest, and grasslands. Be sure to check out the State Waterfowl Refuge, which makes up 2,000 acres of the park. If you’re looking for a more relaxing experience, spread out a towel on the sandy beach, bring a picnic, and enjoy the views!
