Sunrise Farm Sites 1 and 2 have oodles of space and Spectacular 50 mile views of Mount Monadnock with no house lights out there in the evening except the party string lights we provide. Site 1 (with entrance 70 yards south of the farmhouse) is best for camping in with up to 20 foot trailers or multiple tents …on the large flat spaces in the 25 acre field to choose from. Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($12.50) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use). Beautiful and plenty of wildlife nearby... as well as Outhouses are marked on Map we provide with solar lights marking them at night. Do Not Leave food out when camping or away from site. Bears are rarely seen but it is wild country. Sites have locking garbage lids. Unique and lovely as well as being next to trails and roads to miles of remote spots with very few if any ... people. In Winter we request only AWD vehicles go down to this site or park up by farmhouse and hike in so you can easily get out. When wet park up by the road if you have 2 wheel drive. We currently have a one-room, wood stove warmed, cozy sleeping loft for one or two - with two benches below on either side of room - for two sleeping bags; plus, a separate 22 foot Sioux tipi with two cots. There are two chairs in the tipi, which if removed at night, make floor room for four other sleeping bags. 'Forest Bathing' for miles! If you're a larger group booking Salamander Hollow main camp with its Sleeping Library, Tipi & Slovenian Beehive House, you might consider renting this additional Tiny Cabin want to entertain all in glamping style, utilizing its amenities; as well, providing another bathroom/shower and guest bedroom for those who prefer being indoors while in the great outdoors. Note that Kula Bata Tiny Cabin abuts the wheelchair accessible larger bathroom/shower which is available to those at the Salamander Hollow main camp, yet you are secluded with your own private entry points and private bathroom. A ten minute drive takes you to the parking area to hike up Tully Mountain. There is a grill, wood fired pizza oven, two fire pits and a hygienic Incinolet electric toilet on the property for night convenience, with small camp sinks for washing & teeth brushing. With the main house built in the 1830s this property has seen many uses such as a farm, retail Christmas store, church, rental cabins, and a gravel quarry among other things. I now try to keep the back acreage by the brook and pond as natural as possible for habitat, as well as you the campers! Learn more about this land: I have 3 well spaced out RV sites on the property. They fit different sized rigs so please read the descriptions. The Pond site is significantly larger and can hold multiple vehicles and tents or trailers (please add this in the extras if you will be having multiple vehicles or trailers). Pets are welcome at the sites, but please have them remain leashed or under your effective verbal control. Most will have cell service at the sites or there is a free public Wi-Fi in Wilmington center. Private yet convenient to Downtown Wilmington, VT. Located between the Harriman reservoir and Lake Raponda, both great for boating, fishing and swimming. As well as the Deerfield River across the street, which runs through town. There is a public hiking trail that goes through the property. It goes from the Fairview ave. boat launch in Wilmington, all the way up to West Dover. You can access this at the back of the site. The sites are only a minutes drive from downtown Wilmington, or you can hike/bike there on the trail (approx 15 min). In Wilmington there is plenty of shopping, gifts, coffee, restaurants, laundry, gas, liquor store/ dispensary, electric car chargers, etc. I have dry, split firewood available for $10 on site. Please don't bring your own wood unless it is dryed and prepackaged from a retail store or bought from one of the local sellers right around me. Transportation of out of state firewood can bring invasive beetles to our forests...if you need anything else feel free to reach out and I'll do my best to steer you in the right direction.

It's car accessible but in close proximity to the Farm. Site #1 & 2 are Hike in sites(1/2 mile).  The farm is surrounded by thousands of acres of conservancy and preserve land. Enjoy nature at its finest!! Camp in a field of fire flies or a remote site surrounded by old growth trees and Mt laurel blossoms. Quite a nice spot tucked in the corner near the trails with a gorgeous stream. As others mentioned, you can still hear the vehicles on the main road, but its gets very quiet as night draws. Sleeping was super peaceful. Gus was great with checking in and welcoming my companion canine and me.

Great space for a van r RV. Beautiful tree for shade and lovely meadow for your view. Close to the street as the site is behind the studio but the street noise is not an issue..I didn't even notice it. I highly recommend taking a glass blowing class and visiting the studio. Robert is a wonderful teacher and Kathy was lovely and gave a great tour of the studio. Highly recommend the space and the studio!!

Fern Gully is an absolutely accurate description of this woodland escape. Deep in the forest you will find a whimsically painted A-frame. Highly recommended for your journey to self reflection, practicing your bird song recognition, and reprogramming your natural circadian rhythm. There is a lake conveniently located a few miles away to get a break from the heat.

I always enjoy staying at the Kula Bata Tiny Kabin for my personal writing retreats. This was my third time there. The cabin has everything I need, but more importantly, acres of quiet, wooded trails. Great for peace and contemplation. There are also plenty of good restaurants/supermarkets/movie theaters etc. within about 20 minutes if you need some diversity of settings!

Great spot to set up some tents with friends and enjoy a weekend! Super easy to follow directions, site with great spots to pitch a tent, nice fire ring, and a beautiful landscape! We loved getting to hear whippoorwills at night. Would recommend!
