We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers.
All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table.
Welcome Center! complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. Check it out! You don't need to purchase extras online if you'd rather pay here with a cost savings for you :)
Onsite also, is a small library inside the Carraige House, let me know if you need a book. The old greenhouse has extra firewood available for your needs, located between 8 and 9 - also some items for you, to use, rent or purchase.

Common Area-Strickly foot traffic only, this is a space to enjoy the open sky with a table, firepit and a grill for anyone's use. If you don't want to bring a grill and don't want to cook on grates. It is a first come first serve basis. But maybe your neighbors' will all come and cook with you?
Cornhole!! Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use.
Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating!
If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away.
Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can.

Secluded in the wilderness, Boulder Brook Hipcamp has private tent sites right next to a babbling brook. The access road is a nice gravel .6 mile long road that is not maintained in the Winter. There is firewood for sale via Venmo right in the parking area, $6 per bundle. There is also a nice outhouse. There are 4 first come, first serve sites with tent platforms and fire pits. There is quick access to the Rockingham Recreational Trail, which is ideal for walking, mountain biking, and exploring. There is also a great swimming hole nearby called Chivers Pond. The campsites are located on the back corner of the Chivers Farm property and seasonal farm goods will be available for campers to purchase coming in 2025.

Since the early 1800s, this land on the edge of Chandler Brook has nourished bodies and spirits alike. Sloping pastures meet well-managed woodlands, making this a haven for both humans and wildlife. Since the 1980s, we have worked to restore the soil and make a "hand-built" life as farmers using pre-industrial organic methods. We maintain pollinator habitats, tend an fledgling orchard of heirloom-variety fruit trees, and conserve rare heritage-breed animals, including Tamworth pigs and Scottish Highland Cattle. Our shared love for Celtic folk culture has blended naturally with our love of sustainable agriculture to create Tir na nOg Farm. Today, the work of restoration continues with the help of farm partners, family, friends, WWOOFers, and other volunteers. This land is already better than we found it, but we hope it will remain a gathering-ground of culture and agriculture, tradition and innovation for generations to come.

Camp with your group at our private Tree Farm / Conservation / Recreation Area. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events.
Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals.
At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers.
Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain!
Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include…
Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping.
This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

Private 1.5 acre field off of Staples Point Road, 3 miles from downtown Freeport, 1 mile to Winslow Park. Field is surrounded mostly by forrest, only non-drinking water provided from the garden hose at the entrance to the field. Water is shut off late October through the winter but the site is available. Whatever you bring in, you take out; garbage, human waste, etc. There is a camp fire with benches, plenty of fire wood and a luggable loo if needed.

Watersrock Woods Campsites are private tent and remote camping locations in the beautiful Southern Maine forest. Site #1 is a decent sized remote tent site with spots for 1 -3 tents, 1 - 2 cars max and 6 guests. Site #2 is a very large remote tent site with spots for multiple tents, multiple vehicles and 8 guests. Site #3 is the smallest remote tent sites with spots for 1 or 2 tents, 1 - 2 cars max and 4 guests. All 3 sites are mostly surrounded by 6' natural berms with lots of pine trees between each campsite creating additional privacy. They all have a picnic table and fire pit. Campsite site #2 is a larger space with plenty of room for multiple cars and 5 -6 tents. It has a propane barbecue grill, picnic table, fire pit, hammock, outdoor patio set with seating for 6. A shared portapotty is on site and cleaned weekly from May 1st - October 31st. There isn’t electricity or running water and there is spotty cell phone service but a its great wooded spot for some remote camping in Southern Maine. There is a nearby tote road for guests to go on nature hikes. (5 - 10 miles) There is a path that leads down to a brook that abuts the property and there is a 1/4 mile dirt road that leads to the Little Ossipee River that's great for wading, fishing, tubing, etc.. There are local public swimming spots within 10 minutes in any direction and hiking trails in abutting towns. The town of Limerick has a grocery store, hardware store, convenience store, a post office and dollar general for your other needs. (Within 5 - 6 minutes) It is a small town of approximately 3300 people. They say if you blink you'll miss it. It is very peaceful. Great for camping, fishing, glamping or relaxing! There are also free local public swimming beaches in 10 minutes in any direction, that don't get a lot of traffic. We love it out here and hope you will too!

Dogs are more than welcome here (please pick up after your pet!), but please note this property sits approximately 20 feet above the riverbank, with natural stairs leading down to the water. This site is not appropriate for very young, unsupervised children.
The Saco river can be unforgiving, and this is an ever-changing site. At any given time, depending on the weather, the water can be high, or low, and this can change the landscape to some extent. We are always making improvements and cleaning the land (cutting dead or fallen trees etc.) so we appreciate your understanding of these rustic qualities!
Hiram is located about 30 minutes from North Conway NH with amazing restaurants and outlet shopping, and about an hour from the coast and Portland Maine. Naples and the Sebago Lake area are just a short drive as well! There are several hiking trails nearby. The Mount Cutler Park and Conservation Area is just a 10 minute drive, featuring trails that provide stunning views of Hiram and the surrounding mountains. Or, you can simply go for an evening stroll down the charming, quiet dirt road after your relaxing day on the river!

Surround yourself in the natural beauty of a working flower farm in Maine in this quiet, secluded location that's close to area beaches, lighthouses, and more. Located about an acre behind our family home (which you can see from the spot), the camp site is within steps of our barn, which has both running water and electrical hookups (20amps) for campers to use. An open field next door plays host to numerous deer and turkeys, and the flower fields feature a rotating lineup of beautiful blooms (depending on the time of the season.)
We are located off a busy street where cars drive a little too fast — if you have a dog that needs to be walked daily, we would recommend stopping by the beach or one of the many nearby walking trails instead of venturing down the road.
Max length of vehicles is 30 feet -- we've found that any longer and the turns are too tight.

Perfect trip, would definitely recommend!
We were met with an amazing host, Eben, who was welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating. He had wonderful communication leading up to and during the trip, which eased our nerves for our first camping experience.
The campsite was thoughtfully set-up, making cooking/dishwashing much easier (with dedicated stations for each), and helping reduce the impact of the heavy rain we got (with canopies and eye hooks in trees for tarps).
Our remote campsite (site 4) had great views and privacy. We opted for the ATV service add-on which allowed us to easily haul all of our supplies.
There was also a compostable outhouse available as an add-on for this site which was very clean and definitely worth it.
Can’t say enough great things about the hikes available on the mountain. There were breathtaking views throughout and since we visited in season, we were even able to pick some blueberries at the summit!

love this spot!! so many great amenities like the kayaks, shed full of camping gear (life jackets, the solo stove, bug spray, etc.) such a comfortable place to pitch a tent and jump in the water. our dog's first time in a tent/in the water!!! love it so much.

This was favorite tent site we have booked on hipcamp. It was private, right on the water, and the site was very well kept. Having access to the kayaks, canoe and even a power source was perfect. Our dog had a blast in the water. Im not a very good fisherman but I did catch a few fish. I Deffinetly recommend this site.

Eben is a truly a top host , from beginning to end. It started even before our trip , his pre trip communication was detailed and organized. The site itself feels like a magic hidden land with unique camp spots for both car campers and backpackers. Each site was super well organized with key items and clean and well groomed. The trails are absolutely beautiful. Eben also gave us great recommendations for spots to check out in the area. It was a magical camping trip for our family!

We had such an amazing time camping on Christine and Tyler's land. The sights were beautiful, it was private and peaceful. Christine was responsive and very helpful. They had a stove, hammock, kayaks, power cords, and other items for use. Would love to come back!

My wife and I had a great time camping at The Ridge on Hussey Mountain! The campsite was massive! It felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves with beautiful views of the mountains all around us and wide open sky’s to see the stars at night. Eban was a great host anything you needed he would go out of his way to help to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Campsite was well maintained and clean. I highly recommend a stay at any of the camp sites at Hussey mountain.

We loved our site at Someday Forest. What a beautiful view from the field of the sunset. And a short walk from a beautiful view of the sunrise over the marsh in the back. Very easy to find and get to, wonderful location.

Eben was very welcoming and communicative
He answered all of our questions and provided a great tour of our campsite as well as the walking trails on the tree farm.
He put a lot of thought into the site and we loved the outdoor shower and sink. The site was very quiet and at night we could hear the owls which was very cool.
We also had an issue with our RV and needed a wrench and Eben came right down and assisted us
I would highly recommend this Hipcamp. My only disappointment was we did not have time to hike the mountain and see the beautiful views, next time.!

I really enjoyed camping on Billy’s property. The Mountain View site is aptly named — it offers beautiful mountain views with stunning sunsets and sunrises.
The site has nice pull-offs that make car camping easy, along with plenty of space to pitch a tent. If you enjoy hammocking, there are several great spots for that as well.
Billy is a fantastic host — responsive, accommodating, and genuinely friendly. I would definitely recommend booking with him and enjoying his beautiful property.

Me four friends and our pup went to this site for a couple days and to say it was perfect as an understatement. Our site was perfectly tucked away right next to this beautiful small pond beneath the pine trees. It was deep enough in the woods to feel super secluded, but close enough to town to make it super convenient if you need anything. The driveway up to the campsite it’s definitely very steep but if you’ve got four-wheel-drive, you can make it up no problem.! beautiful view at the top as well. There’s plenty of room to put a couple tents! The only thing you can hear from out there is a lot of birds and one friendly owl that hoots every night! knowle‘s pond is just 1 mile away and the water there is beautiful for swimming or boating. We met the owner Billy and talked to him for a bit, he is super cool dude and I would 100% come here again. P.S we stopped at Dipsy doodle dairy bar for icecream jist 12 minutes away. highly recommend making a pitstop there if you camp here! we’ll be back!

Very beautiful and peaceful farm and campground . The campsites are well sized and well spaced for privacy. Barbie is an amazing host. Very friendly and accommodating. Being able to see the alpacas is awesome!

So cute and I definitely recommend all the extras she provides. Coffee with the alpacas and getting to know Barbie was a treat. She makes delicious breakfast on Sunday mornings and the price can’t be beat. Her land is lush and beautiful and she does all the work herself. Her firewood is an incredible deal and of great quality. I can’t say enough good things about camping with her. 10/10 would recommend.

My boyfriend and I visited campsite 4 this weekend for the second time. Last year it was just the two of us and we had an amazing time. The views are great, and theres so much to explore on the property. We got to eat freshly grown blueberries and were able to see deer up close. We had such a nice time that I booked a visit again, this time for a surprise birthday party and invited 10 of my friends along with us. It was a 10/10 experience. Eben was extremely supportive throughout the process and helped me to pull it off perfectly. He clearly communicates what to expect along with directions and is very helpful once you get to his property as well. Now not only do my boyfriend and I love this location, but our friends do as well. Everyone left very happy and have already talked about returning on their own at some point in time. I would definitely recommend! :)
