Hello. My name is Tamara and my husband is Andy. We bought this place in 2022 with the goal of raising animals humanely and providing good food options to purchase at reasonable prices. After moving to Ontario I noticed there are not many good options for nighttime sleep. I fondly remember camping with our kids in a location we named Neverland. We decided we wanted to create that for people. That’s why we joined Hipcamp. We have several sites that range from close to the house and bathroom access to remote in a field with the sounds of the creek to lull you to sleep. To increase safety and aid in positive memory making, only one group is allowed at a time. We have lots of space so whether you are a lone traveler, a family, or a group of friends looking to make memories consider staying with us and our animals. We generally have goats, chickens, and pigs. From July to October, we often have pheasants. This year we do not so I can do repairs to the small coop. Look us up on Facebook under Micone Ranch.
Our driveway is immediately off Ontario Heights Rd. Google tells people to turn on Grand View Lane. There is no access to our property from that direction. We have a 300-gallon trash bin next to our mailbox that says camp host. Our driveway is immediately across the road from there. The bridge at the entrance to our property is 11' wide, which should allow a standard 8' RV to pass into the property. RV hook up is right off the driveway by the power pole. Ground is in its native form and only gets minimal rain. Some weeds and goatheads may be present.
A small, creek runs through the front of the property year-round. Water is clearer during the winter and spring months. The spots I have cleared in this area are small. I recommend tent camping in this area. It is densely wooded. We have goats in this field; they are shy. We have goat treats available for sale if you would like to feed them.
Oregon has an invasive, poisonous weed called Water hemlock. If you camp in this area, familiarize yourself with this plant so you can avoid it. Camping areas have been cleared of this plant. If you wander along the creek, you will encounter it.

This property, which we named Butterfield Farms, was built in 1915 by August Broderson, who emigrated from Germany to the US in 1892. Hello. My name is Tamara and my husband is Andy. We bought this place in 2022 with the goal of raising animals humanely and providing good food options to purchase at reasonable prices. After moving to Ontario I noticed there are not many good options for nighttime sleep. I fondly remember camping with our kids in a location we named Neverland. We decided we wanted to create that for people. That’s why we joined Hipcamp. We have several sites that range from close to the house and bathroom access to remote in a field with the sounds of the creek to lull you to sleep. To increase safety and aid in positive memory making, only one group is allowed at a time. We have lots of space so whether you are a lone traveler, a family, or a group of friends looking to make memories consider staying with us and our animals. We generally have goats, chickens, and pigs. From July to October, we often have pheasants. This year we do not so I can do repairs to the small coop. Look us up on Facebook under Micone Ranch.
Our driveway is immediately off Ontario Heights Rd. Google tells people to turn on Grand View Lane. There is no access to our property from that direction. We have a 300-gallon trash bin next to our mailbox that says camp host. Our driveway is immediately across the road from there. The bridge at the entrance to our property is 11' wide, which should allow a standard 8' RV to pass into the property. RV hook up is right off the driveway by the power pole. Ground is in its native form and only gets minimal rain. Some weeds and goatheads may be present.
A small, creek runs through the front of the property year-round. Water is clearer during the winter and spring months. The spots I have cleared in this area are small. I recommend tent camping in this area. It is densely wooded. We have goats in this field; they are shy. We have goat treats available for sale if you would like to feed them.
Oregon has an invasive, poisonous weed called Water hemlock. If you camp in this area, familiarize yourself with this plant so you can avoid it. Camping areas have been cleared of this plant. If you wander along the creek, you will encounter it.

In the early 1900's three sheep ranchers--August Broderson, James Fisher, and Isaac Leighton--each purchased residential lots in Weiser and built brick homes designed by Idaho architect H. W. Bond. This property, which we named Butterfield Farms, was built in 1915 by August Broderson, who emigrated from Germany to the US in 1892. The Broderson family lived here for decades and were a prominent family in Weiser history. Learn more about this land:The campsite is located on our small family-run farm in Weiser, ID. Our 2 1/2 acre historic farm is located in the heart of town, so you have the best of both worlds: easy access to town amenities, and a restful retreat in nature at the end of the day. Grocery store, seasonal farmer's market, coffee shop, eateries, library, and downtown shops are all within easy walking or biking distance. Weiser is known world-wide for its annual fiddle festival in June! Our campsite is within walking or biking distance of all of the Fiddle Week activities. Campsite is located underneath a large shady oak tree. Campers are welcome to use the fire pit when fire bans are not in effect. Electric hookups are located immediately next to the campsite, as well as a non-potable water source. Note that we are located in town and campers are required to observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am and be courteous of neighbors.

Welcome to our 40-acre working farm in Canyon County, just outside Nampa, Idaho. We’re surrounded by open farmland and wide country skies.
We grow hay and pasture for our livestock, along with orchards and a small vineyard. Our on-site Farm Store offers beef, lamb, fresh eggs, and seasonal produce when available.
We have three RV sites located on a private acre near our indoor riding arena. Each site includes 30/50 amp power and water hookups (no septic service). Parking is level gravel with pasture on both sides. Pull in or back in — there’s plenty of room.

This property is home to a working jewelry studio, so you’ll be staying on an active property where we are making jewelry daily. During weekdays (roughly 7 am–5 pm), our team is on-site and part of the front lot is used for employee vehicles.
Just a couple blocks away, you’ll find the Boise River and Greenbelt — a paved walking and biking path that runs for miles along the water and is one of Boise’s most loved features. From here, you can easily bike or drive into downtown in just minutes.
You’re also close to Esther Simplot Park, where you can enjoy or watch river surfing, boogie boarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, or relaxing by the water (there's an equipment rental company onsite called ID River Sports if you're in need). Expo Idaho and the new soccer stadium are nearby as well, hosting concerts, markets, and events year-round.
Within a half mile, you’re surrounded by incredible local spots like Telaya Wine Co., Split Rail Winery, Barbarian Brewing, Push and Pour Coffee, Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery, etc. — all walkable or a quick scooter ride away. Scooters and bikes are typically easy to find nearby, and an Enterprise Rent-A-Car is right across the street if needed. Downtown Boise is a 3 minute drive, or 5 minute bike ride away on the greenbelt.
For something unique, check out LED Boise just one door down for live performances, or the neighboring glass blowing studio where you can take a class. There’s also a hotel one block away that offers paid indoor and outdoor pool access.

We camped in a 25’ Class C. It was beautiful and serene. Horses and pony’s to watch. Tons of Green grass to picnic or walk dog. 30 amp power and a dump that was a short distance (no hookup). Hose water available. Ron was very helpful. It rained hard and became muddy behind the RV space, so that could be a problem if you need to leave when the ground is still wet, without 4WD. It’s not close to anything, but didn’t matter to us. It was so peaceful to hang out and enjoy.

This place granted such peace of mind as a solo female traveler who was car camping. Having access to the bathroom and getting to take a shower for a small fee was great. I ended up parking by the house to be close to the bathroom but was able to be on the other side of a shed to be out of direct view from the house. Such beautiful land and felt very safe, especially with the gated driveway. It was so nice to have animals around, and there were no issues with them making noise at night. The host gave me my space but was lovely to chat with when she was around and I always felt like I could let her know of any issues.

Our family had a great time here. It's a beautiful and quiet place where we got to see and hear the horses. We enjoyed the fire pit at the campsite, as well as the large grassy field just beyond the campsite. It was convenient to have our camp trailer plugged in, and to fill our water tank right there too. We used this as our base camp for daily trips to the various towns and nearby activities.

I had a very comfortable and peaceful stay at Micone Ranch. Tamara was very helpful and communicative, and I felt so welcomed staying with her. The site is private, has convenient amenities, and is quiet all night. They have lots of animals on site, but I was not bothered by any noise at all. This is a great stop for a solo traveler or a group, and I would highly recommend it!

We loved our stay on Tamara and Andy’s property! There are multiple locations to stay at and you can choose any that speaks to you. We opted for the spot next to the lamppost with power (didn’t hook up) that was next to their driveway. The have a bunch of adorable goats and a handful of baby ones that were just over four weeks old. Tamara invited us to play with the baby goats to socialize them and that was just a happy bonus. Super quiet evening and they have a bathroom you can use in a sectioned off part of their house. Just a great spot to spend some time and one we would highly recommend!
