Minidoka County Fairgrounds: The fairgrounds are located East of Rupert encompassing an area of approximately sixty-five acres. The grounds includes a rodeo arena, display buildings (antique building, a commercial building, 4-H building), and open air pavilion for livestock shows, family reunions, and other community events. Hidden behind the main grounds is our small and quaint campground in a groomed grassy field. with a spectacular view of Mount Harrison. Our Amps are 30 amp. We suggest you have your own drinking water. There are signs saying nonpotable for your safety. There is not direct access to fairgrounds bathrooms. We are perfect for an RV set up or a tent camper that is a bit more experienced.
The Minidoka County Fair held the first week in August and includes a full week of events including entertainment, open class exhibits, food, rodeo, 4-H and FFA livestock shows. Numerous events are held at the fairgrounds throughout the year including Moto-X races, rodeos, auctions, 4-H events. weddings, horseshows, family reunions, and more. Note-Dates have been blocked for these events. We are fortunate to have this multi-purpose facility for use in our community.

We now have free wifi. Seasonal heated outdoor shower is free to guests May-October. We also have tent sites available. Enjoy our new enclosed, leash free, dog play area. Big Rig access has always been limited in the City of Rocks so we made every site large with pull thru access. Public RV dump station is only 1 mile away. This place is incredibly peaceful and private—the perfect escape to unwind. We came up from SLC. The sound of the flowing creek was so relaxing, and our dogs absolutely loved it! The picnic table and fire pit were wonderful additions that made our stay even more enjoyable. We also spotted some large birds that were fun to watch, which added to the charm of the setting. We’ve already booked another stay and can’t wait to return. The hosts were friendly and provided great communication throughout!

Beautiful spot with a great view of City of Rocks and easy access to climbing areas. The campground was well laid out and everything was in good repair. It looked like they were working on improvements for next season - building nice little shade/ wind breaks in the tent sites. Cell coverage was weak in spots between I-84 and Almo when coming from the south so make sure you download directions.

Well laid out, we moved to smaller site once we arrived. Great views, easy set up, great showers. Steve, the host, helped us find our way in the dark on late arrival and came over to make sure we got hooked up ok. Highly recommend- right next door to city of rocks.

Outhouses were clean, their is 24hr gas or diesel nearby attached to a general store.

This was a great stop for the night. Close to the highway, in the middle of town, but also quiet and peaceful. We lucked out and had the place to ourselves. Our dog had the run of the place. 30 amp power and water worked with no problems.

Cool little campground near the city of rocks. Amenities were actually better than advertised as it seems like they just added showers, spot was pretty level. The host accommodated a last minute site switch for me as well so that I could be closer to WiFi while my wife was in Europe, and the concession stand was an added bonus for an easy breakfast. Will definitely be coming back when my wife is able to join!
