City of Rocks RV offers wide open mountain views at the entrance to the City of Rocks National Reserve. We provide partial hookups (water and electric 20/30/50), "Big Rig" pull-thru sites, Pioneer Bathrooms (rustic outhouse), and the beauty and seclusion of the Silent City of Rocks and the Almo Valley. We now have free wifi. Seasonal heated outdoor shower is free to guests May-October. We also have tent sites available. Enjoy our new enclosed, leash free, dog play area. We are conveniently located just outside the entrance to the Park on the City of Rocks Road. Big Rig access has always been limited in the City of Rocks so we made every site large with pull thru access. Public RV dump station is only 1 mile away. Whether you are here to climb, camp, hike, snowshoe, bird, fish, hunt, stargaze, relax, or all the above, we offer the ideal base-camp. We hope to see you soon!

Site six is a spacious tent site but also has a 40 foot level gravel drive for an RV or van and a 50amp plug that can be used for an additional fee of $15. It offers a 10x12 elevated tent pad, drive up access if you want to sleep in your RV, car or camper van, picnic table, fire ring, wind/privacy fence, sun shade, hammock poles, bathroom, garbage, and fresh water access. Now with a 15amp electric plug for phone or laptop charging, medical devices or basic camp needs like air pumps. RV or Camper vans/truck campers that plug in will need to pay an additional fee of $15

The location was really close to the park entrance. Owner was super friendly and I was able to plug my motorcycle trickle charge in at the tent site since they provide 15amp plugs. I'd totally stay again when I come back to the area.

We were able to fit out 43ft 5th wheel in no problem. Outhouses were clean, their is 24hr gas or diesel nearby attached to a general store. Would stay again.

WAY less green than the pictures showed, but it being August, not sure what else to expect. Almost the entire campground was empty which meant zero noise which was great and the view of the sky at night was absolutely amazing!

Great spot right outside of City of Rocks. All the amenities were like pleasant little surprises. Fenced in dog run, clean bathrooms, warm shower. The other campers were super friendly and quiet. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed camping here. Normally I don't love tent camping at RV places, but this was definitely an exception. Great spot with beautiful views. The owner is super involved and seems to be working really hard to make this place nice. Great access to city of rocks.

This place is at the base of the entrance to the city of Rox national reserve. There is camping in the reserve a place called twin sisters looks to be the best. However, I opted to stay at this privately owned camp/RV center because they offered power hook-ups for my Tesla EV. There was only one other camper there when I was there in August 2024. It was super chill, and even though it says there are no showers, there is one simple stall with hot water!. It’s a fairly new campground, so the trees need to grow up a bit, but it’s gonna be nice in the future.

For being a new campsite it was grand! Its location between city of rocks,Almo, and castle rocks was perfect! The camp owner came by and visited and answered all our questions and left some information about the area which was super helpful! They do not have sewer hook ups but water and electric are available. 10/10 would go again.

We really enjoyed City of Rocks RV, it was a nice and clean campground. Very nice bathrooms and shower. The host was also very kind and helpful. We plan to stay again!

The tent site we stayed at was great. Loved that it was right next to the dog park area. We had the entire campground to ourselves which was awesome. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was great.

Great host!! Thank you for a great stay Ross. We loved our stay at this rv park. Very beautiful setting, quiet, and right outside city of rocks. The hiking, and biking was great. The surrounding area was perfect. Hope to visit again
