Description

History buffs unite! Plan a trip to Newton Battlefield State Park campground and relive one of the largest campaigns of the American Revolution. This is the site of an historic battle where the Continental Army clashed with 1,000 Iroquois Indian warriors who had sided with the British. The granite monument you see there today was erected in way back in 1912. Keep your eyes peeled as you walk around camp, you just might find an old musket ball!
