A gorgeous property at the foot of Elephant mountain with the Elk Run creek edging the back yard area, provides hours of relaxation listen to the stream, fishing and wading in the creek. Huge maple trees where a maple sugar shack was once on the property provides a wooded area by the stream where you can set up a tent or sleep in hammocks and listen to the stream. There is a gorgeous completely renovated house on the property that may also be rented. The property is shared. We provide a picnic table, and a fire ring. Fire wood available for additional fee. There could be two sites, one has electric and both have water. If you are camping together, contact me for additional information and fee for more than one RVs. Bring a water filter, water is safe but has the sulfur smell. A charcoal filter is recommended. The circular driveway provides easy access. Toy hauler or horse trailers welcome. ATV can get in the DCNR connector trail right from the driveway. Hunters are welcome to hunt the many acres of public land in the area. Not permitted on our property. There is wildlife including bear, deer and Turkey we often see ducks, eagles, gross beaks, and cardinals just to name a few. This is the place to come to park you RV and retreat to the creek in back of property if you want time to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. There may be other people on the property if we are there or if the house is rented. There is plenty of space for all.Park your RV or vehicle in the stoned area where the electric hookup and water is located. There are two sites but we would only rent second one to people who are camping together. Please contact us for this option. Pay at site for second site or adding a tent. If tent you must bring your own portable toilet. This is a very quiet peaceful area. Please be considerate of our neighbors. Quiet hours after 10:00 PM Please do not block the circle driveway You may also set up a tent or hammocks in the wooded area and still use the water and electric at the site. Creek is in the edge of property. 1/4 mile walk it flows into the Pine Creek. There is a public beach area at the Pine Creek where you can tube, launch at kayak or canoe. People and dogs can also swim at the area. It is at the bridge you cross to get to property. Dirt road next to creek takes you a parking area. ATV trail is at end of driveway. On property only ride on driveway to get to DCNR connector trail. Check for season dates. The Pine Creek rails to trails through the PA Grand Canyon is 15 minutes from here. Hunting allowed on public land in area in area; not on property. Picnic table, fire ring and fire wood provided. Wildlife abounds in this area. We have a cabin across the street.
