Minidoka County Fairgrounds: The fairgrounds are located East of Rupert encompassing an area of approximately sixty-five acres. The grounds includes a rodeo arena, display buildings (antique building, a commercial building, 4-H building), and open air pavilion for livestock shows, family reunions, and other community events. Hidden behind the main grounds is our small and quaint campground in a groomed grassy field. with a spectacular view of Mount Harrison. Our Amps are 30 amp. We suggest you have your own drinking water. There are signs saying nonpotable for your safety. There is not direct access to fairgrounds bathrooms. We are perfect for an RV set up or a tent camper that is a bit more experienced. The Minidoka County Fair held the first week in August and includes a full week of events including entertainment, open class exhibits, food, rodeo, 4-H and FFA livestock shows. Numerous events are held at the fairgrounds throughout the year including Moto-X races, rodeos, auctions, 4-H events. weddings, horseshows, family reunions, and more. Note-Dates have been blocked for these events. We are fortunate to have this multi-purpose facility for use in our community.

You may be greeted by horses, cattle or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will encounter snakes 🐍 and hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account). We do not have designated areas but, please don’t block the turn around area to the far south, please park wherever you desire, walk your route as this virgin ground has many rocks. 🪨 If leveling is an issue & you need to block the road, let’s verify we have no other campers coming. There is a runoff river that runs through the property in the early spring but, rarely has water, however, it has amazing lava rock (similar to Black Magic Canyon which isn’t far away); We also like to use it for campfires! What an amazing place right in the cliffs edge. The owners are so friendly and kind. They can let you know about anything you may want to go explore while there. They have put such care into this land and it honors the ancient tribes that once used that land. They have beautiful walkways with special finds along the way. The sunsets-sunrises are incredible. It's private and you are above all the waterfalls / springs that flow out to Ritter Island. Highly recommend this beautiful place.

Absolutely loved this space! So open, beautiful tall trees, but private. They offer a great picnic table. Small walk to the river, but they keep a path clear. Directions are easy to follow. The host is quick to respond to any questions. Easy to get to and from. Very easy to set up an RV. Lots of space. Would highly recommend!! Our fur kid was also happy with the space to run, and get in the river.

This is a great spot for good views and short walks on the property. It is a ridge that overlooks a beautiful river and waterfalls. The nearby park that you drive to is a great place to spend a day exploring the waterfalls, swimming, hiking. One warning is there may be smells from the dairy plant as this is a very large dairy farming community. Host is exceptionally courteous, generous, and helpful. Keep your eye out for arrowheads! Easy to get to and felt very safe

I spent the night in my camper and it was AMAZING. The views, the biodiversity of birds, the sunset and the waterfalls made for a perfect reset on a long drive from Albuquerque. If you have time, this is a perfect location to access all the famous parks nearby. I only wish I had more time to explore here.

This is a great stop for a lot of reasons. It's convenient to I-84 and the Twin Falls area. It's easy to find. Parking is straightforward and easy. But best of all is the view of Snake River Canyon from your campsite. We sat there all evening in our chairs until the sun went down and the stars came out. We also got to meet Brett and his dog Charlie and they were both great too.

The view from the site is spectacular! While I wish there would be something at least partially blocking the site from the back of the house to give it a little more privacy, it was very peaceful and so quiet that you could hear coyotes in the bottom of the canyon.

Wow! A stunning view and perfect restful spot! Brett’s canyon-side location is spacious yet cozy, well-graded and level. Finding the location was easy, convenient to I-84 but still had an isolated feel. I felt very safe here yet appreciative of the adventurous feel the sight gave me. I will be back!!
