My family has lived in these parts for over 150 years ever since my great grandfather settled here from Georgia. This land has been used for may things. From raising cotton, corn, hogs, cattle and at one time my family was one of the largest strawberry producers in the state and always raised a large vegetable garden. I can still remember my daddy plowing this ground with a big black team of mules. For the past 20 years we have raised Buffalo. But the commitment has always been the same. Taking the time to help your neighbor, even if he does not ask. Keeping your word, a man is only as good as his word . Treating people fairly and with respect, if you can not respect others you can not respect yourself. And for each generation to leave the land in better shape than when you started farming it.

The cottage has two double beds in the lower level bedroom as well as a queen bed in the upper level loft. A futon couch in the living room folds out to a double bed, as needed. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils of every kind. Both the stove and refrigerator are full size, there is also a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and the kitchen table seats six. Bed linens, towels, pillows and blankets are supplied. The bath is a tub and shower combination. There is a charcoal grill in the yard, but please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Enjoy our screened deck, covered picnic area, and outdoor fire pit and there is ample level parking for vehicles, canoes, and other outdoor gear. We offer Satellite TV. The cottage is air conditioned for your comfort, and gas heat assures comfort year round.

The house utilizes a composting toilet and greywater systems, emphasizing sustainability. We designed this as a place to unplug, so don't have WiFi, a microwave or a TV.
The water is set to HOT, and we have it set there because the hot water heater is a travel trailer size, so it only puts out a small amount of hot water. Please don't burn your hands washing them!
Also feel free to turn it down if you need to, it is right under the kitchen sink.
We recommend expecting a quick shower or turning the water off and on to soak your hair if you need to wash it and then lathering up.
If the house is smelling bad in the bathroom, that is not normal and we will come and fix it.

This was an oasis of beauty and healing. I was a solo female camper. Mizzy was a great host and I could see her working to maintain the camp to its beauty. I felt very safe. The hippy van was great. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed all the special nature decor around the camp. Perfect views. Great fire pits. Loved the drive up the gravel road and back it’s breathtaking. Mizzy is there for you if you need her. Will be back. Thank you for letting me heal my heart and nervous system here this weekend! Peak fall leaves! My beagle Liberty enjoyed it too?

It was an enchanted experience, for sure. We stayed in the Container Home and it was absolutely perfect. It was nestled away from the other sites with its very own view of the magical tree line. Mizzy is the host with the most. Her presence and energy matched the peaceful vibes of the environment and she made sure we had everything we could need. Her land was absolutely beautiful, with just a short walk to the creek. The road to the campsite was a bit rugged, but small vehicles seemed to make their way to this hideaway as well as 4x4s. Definitely will visit again.

Weekend Trip to lightning Bug Hideaway
We loved the tiny off-grid house on this gorgeous property. It had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend getaway including a cozy bed, kitchen basics, and outdoor fire pit with chairs. We also enjoyed exploring the land and creek close by. Rob showed us around upon arriving. He was friendly and made us feel quite welcome.

My wife and I came to celebrate our anniversary and Mizzy had everything set up for us, our camper and campsite were so cute and tidy. We loved the trails on the property and on our last day we were able to leave our mark by helping Mizzy paint the hippie van!! Such a great experience, we will definitely be back!!

Weekend Trip to The Ridge at Buffalo Point
We had so much fun at this cabin! It’s the right size for a weekend getaway with a bed, small Roku TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, grill, and fire pit. The private bathhouse was a short walk from the cabin and was nice after a long day of outdoor activities. The property also offers a disc golf totem, swings, and open area to run around in. The location is also really close to the lower area of the Buffalo River. Easily a 5-10 minute drive to anything. Also, loved having Wild Bills, a gas station and convenience store, a short walk away for anything we forgot or needed. Loved meeting the gray kitty on the property. 2 nights at Lost Valley View Cabin
Spectacular view, cozy, private. It was a great stay and so much to do around Buffalo River and other state parks. Eden Falls is an absolute must! Just don't take Stoverville Road all the way! We did & it was great but only if you have a 4WD truck or other off-road vehicle! Newton County is a dry county so if you like adult beverages, bring your own. Same with food, bring enough and any special condiments. Ronald supplies cookware, etc. Comfy bed too!

Sherita was such a welcoming host, and the spot is so cute! my stay was short but my dog and i had everything we needed and were very comfortable in the charming vintage trailer. definitely would return again!

We loved staying at camp enchanted! It was so magical, beautiful, and breathtaking. The van was a work of art, the property was remote and quiet. The stars at night were so cool we saw shooting stars, the Milky Way! It was awesome we would love to come back here 💚💚

Weekend Trip to Enchanted Ozark Fairytale Camp
My sister and I had such a wonderful stay here! The whole place felt like stepping into a whimsical dream, so beautiful, colorful, and full of charm. The converted van setup was absolutely adorable, with cozy, creative decor that made it feel special and inviting. We loved all the little details, especially the ones on the trails.
The surrounding area was peaceful and breathtaking wide open green space, shaded woods, and views of the mountains that made it feel like a true escape. We even saw a few deer during our stay, which made the experience feel even more magical.
The host was so kind and helpful, which made everything even better. You can really tell they put a lot of love into the space. It was the perfect spot to unplug, relax, and just enjoy nature and each other’s company.
We’ll definitely be coming back. This place is such a gem!

The drive to the site is a little nerve wracking due to steep drop offs and narrow roads that are gravel. People drive way too fast on them. The camping area is primitive, but clean and offers a good bit of privacy. The river is beautiful and serene. WELL worth the drive. We will be back to float the river!
