Welcome to the north woods! Camper available 150 meters from a large public beach, two fishing piers, and a boat access onto Long Lake! Very close to a nice little restaurant. You'll have access to paddle boards and kayaks and assorted water toys for your stay. The camper is a no frills 37 foot '97 Dutchmen Royal that has been updated, it features a queen bed and a full size futon. Sleeps 4. There is cold water and air conditioning, simple pots and pans for cooking and a fire pit with outdoor furniture. It's a pretty nice spot!
Just needed a quiet place to park before the Headwaters 100 event. No extras but for this purpose it was perfect. Nice Hill Top Restaurant within walking distance.
Nestled in the woods at the back of the family-owned restaurant, this site is quiet and secluded. Walk 150' to the restaurant for a delicious meal or down to the public boat launch where you'll find two public grills and a toilet. Would definitely rather be here than on top of each other as we observed at the campground in Itasca State Park! Jacob, his sister and everyone in the restaurant were all very welcoming. Thank you 😊
We stayed for 3 nights over Memorial weekend in our camper, with two dogs.
The site is in the edge of some woods and was quiet. We love a good camp fire and the host had provided wood. The dogs enjoyed walks by the lake.
Our main purpose for visiting the area was to go to Itasca State Park which was a 25 minn drive away.
We enjoyed relaxing on the private dock on Long Lake watching the sunset. We also used the grills by the public dock and people watched.
The site is next to Hilltop Inn, it was raining when we arrived so we went for dinner. The food was fantastic (Walleye and Steak!) and the family were very welcoming.
Later in the year it would be fantastic to use all the water toys available on the lake.
If I wanted to stay in someone’s backyard I would have stayed in my own and not have had to drive 1 1/2 hours and bring all the necessities to camp out for three days. The campsite was in his backyard beside a very busy restaurant. Would not recommend . He could at least offered a refund.
Camping at north land paradise was a great stay- just what we expected for the price you can’t beat! A simple older no frills RV next to the woods with a firepit and grill access. Jacob was very friendly and quick to respond and help! So generous with helping us feel at home. The lake is beautiful and so clear. Fun swimming/fishing beach and nice to have access to kayak/2 paddle boards/peddle boat. You do have to cross a pretty fast road to get to the beach and we didn’t attempt the river as it was a little harder to get to than seemed on the map but looked doable for older kids than we have! We came for the lake access and weren’t disappointed!
